Dr. Berg was thorough in ruling out possible causes for my issue, including less common ones. However, he was incredibly dismissive of me when a clear answer was not forthcoming. He reviewed test results and said, "There's nothing wrong with you." Unfortunately that wasn't true so I told him so. Without turning around to make eye contact, he threw out a random recommendation for over-the-counter care but wouldn't bother to explain why I should. I'm with another GI now.

I like Dr. Reedy. But..His staff is terrible. I started seeing Dr. Reedy because I was anemic from stomach bleeds. Trying to get a call back from his office was stressful because they never called me back. I complained to Dr. Reedy and his PA Vinnie. Finally Vinnie said to me, call me and leave a message and I will get back to you after patients. Yes, that worked. I hope things are better since I haven't had to see him for a year.

I really like Dr. Reedy and appreciate his medical opinion; HOWEVER, the office is an unorganized mess. I wish there were more options in Syracuse and I wish Dr. Reedy was with another practice. Appts are 1-2 months out, office is unorganized, and they were not able to do simple things like respond to medical records requests in a timely fashion. Bob the nurse who answers the phone seems to be out of the loop or just intentionally pushes bad info on patients to buy time for a too busy office

Dr. Reedy is a highly knowledgeable and amazing physician. Kind, patient and caring, he listens to my concerns and responds appropriately. He is not quick to suggest that only meds can solve a problem. Since working with him, my medical condition has improved considerably, not only thru meds but working together to find solutions. I would highly recommend Dr. Reedy

We spent the entire day at the hospital waiting for Dr. Reedy and he never showed for the procedure my husband was suppose to have. No phone or apology either. We better not get a bill. No way would I recommended. I had to take a day off my work. How about you reimburse us for our time since apparently you think your time is more valuable!! Disgusted!!

Dr. Berg was not only disrespectful and dismissive, but he did not care to find the cause of the my issues. Do not use him for a colonoscopy or endoscopy. I am now receiving care at Massachusetts General #3 for gastroenterology in the country. They have discredited his colonoscopy and endoscopy since he did not take enough biopsies to properly diagnose and did not bother to complete the test into the smallest area of the ileum. I had to do it all again.

If you are in good health and need a basic preventative colonoscopy, Dr. Reedy is your guy. But if you have more serious gastrointestinal problems, look elsewhere. His bedside manner is lacking, he did not look at me as an individual. His PA Vinnie is terrible, he gave me several pieces of wrong information on my first visit after a major diagnosis. Both have made insensitive comments. The staff seems overworked, you will have to call multiple times if you need to speak to the doctor.
