I went to Dr. Gustave after reading the positive reviews here and had a really great experience with her. Highly recommend.

Dealing with a GI issue can be frustrating and demanding. Dr. Motola has been with me every step of the way, with knowledge, guidance and encouragement. This is healthcare at its best.

Dr Gustave is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She truly cares about her patients and their well being, and we have received nothing but great care, attention, and respect from her. I'm so happy my primary care physician recommended dr Valerie Antoine-Gustave as my gastroenterologist. She is such a caring, knowledgeable, thorough doctor, who shows care and concern for her patients. I normally do not like going to the doctor's office. Pass experience, some doctors do not care. This doctor cares! From the moment you enter her office you feel the professionalism. The entire staff, from the front desk as you enter the office, nurses, technicians. The office is clean and modern, and they take this cov-19 very serious. So, if you are looking for an excellent gastroenterologist, look no further, Dr. Valerie Antoine-Gustave is the doctor for you. You will not be disappointed.

I phoned Dr Gustave’s office after a bleed from my rectum that terrified me. She responded immediately To access the situation and scheduled a follow up appointment by telemedicine for the following day. She provided me with needed information and reassurance. I felt I was in good hands.

I have had experience with Gastro doctors in the past. However, once I met Dr. Antoine-Gustave no need to look any further. She is patient, kind with a bedside manner you rarely see with physicians nowadays. I definitely recommend her if your having gastro issues.

Unfortunately I was running a little late to my appointment yesterday. I was unable to leave work on time and the trains weren't running as frequently since it was the middle of the day. I called the office to let them know I was running a little late and they told me there was a 15 minute grace period. I made it there in 16 minutes and the receptionist was just about to give me paperwork until one of the nurses called and told her they would not see me. I informed her that I live upstate and that it will be difficult for me to reschedule especially since I even had to get permission to leave work early. The receptionist was in-fact kind, but the nurse behind the phone call seemed to not care at all. Their response was that "he is with a patient right now and would like to go home." Meanwhile, it wasn't even late in the day--this was all happening around 4:20pm! What doctor refuses to see a patient who was only ONE minute after the grace period? My appointment would have been a quick

wonderful doc!

I wanted to like this doctor as much as everyone else, but I don't feel like he did the best job for my problem. He ran some tests and prescribed a couple of medications, only after me probing, and after a week of not feeling any relief whatsoever he told me to wait a month before running other tests and possibility prescribing different medication. My symptoms were really, really bad, which I tried to explain to him. I went to get a second opinion from a different gastroenterologist and after one visit he prescribed what I needed. I usually write positive reviews, and even gave Dr. Glick a good rating prematurely on another website, but after a couple weeks I'm realizing he is not a doctor I would recommend or see again.

She is so compassionate and knowledgeable. It's hard to find a good gastroenterologist, and she is GREAT!

I arrived 2 minutes outside of the grace period and was turned away. I had called from the car to let them know about the terrible traffic. They waited until I arrived to let me know they cancelled my appt. I explained that I came into the city from my home an hour and half away just for this appt. I was in tears and asked that I speak with the dr to explain my situation. The receptionist said he was too busy to speak with me.

Dr Valerie Antoine Gustave is the best Doctor that I ever came across in my entire lifetime. I went to see her for a right side stomach pain following a bunch false diagnosis by other doctors who were ready to medicate me unnecessary. Once received a consultation from her, she urgently requested numerous exams and got. To the bottom of the issue. Her bedside manners are amazing, office visit, she doesn't rush you out in five minutes, she explained everything entirely and loving. She's awesome

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Joseph, I saw him in his office for a medical history. He was able to fit me in for a colonoscopy 10 days later. Everything went smoothly. Dr. Joseph is a very considerate doctor, he has a very nice personality. His office staff are awesome.

I had an endoscopy earlier this year and have been waiting 2 months for my biopsy results. I finally called the office and asked if my biopsy results ever came back and was told that yes, my results had arrived and that someone would call me back to discuss them. I'm still waiting for that call.

Dr Joseph is insightful, empathetic, and a clearly skilled clinician. He takes to heart your unique case and utilizes all possible avenues to achieve an understanding of what's ailing you and what's most likely to help. I know his job must be extremely taxing and stressful, but he makes the effort to appear calm and reassuring in all of our encounters. It's the part of being a physician that can't be taught in a classroom, and something that puts him among best.
