Review of Dr. Sisti

- in Englewood, NJ |

Dr. Sisti is nothing short of amazing. When I found out at the age of 37 that I had a rare epidermoid cyst/tumor in my brain that required removal, my family and I were shaken, and unsure where to turn. From everyone's research, we found Dr. Sisti at Columbia Presbyterian, who had the most experience and extensive knowledge of the brain. He also had the BEST bedside manner, from our first consult to pre-surgery to post-surgery. I cannot thank him enough. Despite the odds, the tumor is gone!

Let me preface this by saying, look no further!! I met Dr. Sisti in 2007 much to my chagrin, after being told I needed immediate surgery to remove a very large meningioma that had great potential to ruin my life as I know it. I tell you to look no further because people don't have time for nonsense when it comes to their brain. Dr Sisti is a most accomplished, skilled, precise and honest surgeon I have the privilege of knowing. Go see him, you are going to want him to do your surgery for sure!!!

On this day one year ago, I underwent surgery to remove a benign meningioma. Twelve months have passed, and it’s been quite a year. First, I would like to thank Dr. Michael Sisti and his team for performing what can only be described as god given talent. The whole staff was very supportive throughout my whole experience. After Surgery,I returned to work within 4 weeks. I resumed college courses in 4 months and within 90 days I started getting back in shape with interval strength training.

I was diagonised with an Acustic Neuroma in 2006. I went to 2 surgens on Long Islansd and in NYC and was told brain surgery was my only option. I was gearing up for the long road ahead until my mother in law had a friend that went to Dr Sisti for a similar thing. I was refusing to go because I did not want to get confused. My wife made the appointment so we went. He changed my life in a moment. He recomended Gamma Knife that he is the co director of. He is the best or the best in every way.

I was treated by Dr. Sisti in 2013, my cousin was treated in 2014 and now my mom in beginning 2018 and still under his care. Although our tumors were different he showed the same compassion, patience, reassurance and warmth to all of us. He has surrounded himself with a top notch team from his office staff to his operating room. He is the best there is and I pray for him everyday that he will heal others as he has healed my family.

Best neurosurgeon in New York City! When my husband was diagnosed with a very large meningioma in 2001, Dr. Sisti followed my physician husband annually until he retired practicing medicine in 2018. The surgery Dr. Sisti performed was a complete success. I observed my husband doing a consultation on a hospital staff member 2 days after his surgery! We had recommended Dr. Sisti to numerous patients and will continue to recommend this superior doctor. As for his office manager, Mary is great!

Dr. Sisti has been a GIFT to me and my family! He surgically removed my large acoustic neuroma this past September 2018. His expertise, professionalism and extreme compassion resonate with me still today! He will spend as much time as you need to help you understand your conditon and explain what has to be done. To be able to find a surgeon with both outstanding credentials and a fantastic bedside manner, is not easy to come by. Dr. Sisti is the BEST of the BEST!!
