Review of Dr. Otten

- in Scarsdale, NY |

What a wonderful doctor. I was so scared when I found out I had a brain tumor. He made me feel comfortable, explained what would happen next, and did a great job with the surgery. I'm back at work and feel like I did before my symptoms started. Thank you!

I was having trouble getting pregnant, and my doctor found out I had a pituitary tumor. She referred me to Dr. Otten, and he was wonderful. I had surgery, and went home 2 days later. My hormone levels are normal, and my husband and I just had our first child over the winter.

From the moment I met Dr. Otten I knew I was in good hands. My condition was a Schwenoma in my lumbar 3. He conveyed knowledge and assurance all would be well. My surgery was February 13, 2018. As of today, March 1, I am Walking and driving. Dr. Otten is a wonderful surgeon. Thank you.

Dr. Otten is a consummate professional who provides laser-sharp descriptions of problems and possible solutions. He conducted spinal surgery on me that eliminated a 6 month bout of near constant pain. He contacted me before surgery to assure that I had questions answered and his follow up has been of great assistance. I can not be more effusive in my praise of his work

Had recent resection of pituitary tumor, process went as smoothly as possible. Dr. Otten is highly regarded in his field. His credentials speak for themselves. Dr. Otten explained the procedure, possible risks and side effects thoroughly. He answered all of my questions during office visits and made himself available to answer any subsequent questions and concerns by phone. He was reassuring and compassionate. Office staff is very helpful with general questions, scheduling appointments and test

My 98 year old mother, hesitant to go to the emergency room, needed direction from her neurologist for what she suspected to be another stroke or TIA.. 4 phone calls to his service on his emergency number went unanswered by the doctor and staff.

Dr Otten performed my laminectomy. I found him informative, professional and very competent. I have not had any surgical complications and have healed much more quickly than I thought. In addition, he saved my back tattoo, which in the scheme of things is a small matter but was a surprising plus.
