I have been a patient for 45 years. He has delivered my 3 children and did numerous surgeries due to my many problems. He is kind, compassionate. My hysterectomy was a painless procedure due to his knowledge of up to date procedures. I took my Mom to him and also my daughter , sister and friends. If you take your family then you know he's an excellent doctor. I'm dreading the day he retires, because I would not want to go anywhere else. Dr. Miller is one of the best in his field.
Kathy was the first NP I went to after losing a baby and dealing with a horrible OB experience at Stony Brook. She was also there for the following two pregnancies. She has always remembered every aspect we've talked about, is super friendly, and in my opinion, goes above what you would expect her to do. She is often over-scheduled (not her fault), but some how always manages to get to her appointments in a timely manner. I highly recommend her.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the most unprofessional office I have ever been to (and I am in the medical field). I switched to them for a routine annual because my gynocologist office stopped taking my insurance. It should have been an open and closed visit. Instead, I was told "you're 30 years old and in a stable relationship, getting pregnant would solve these issues (endometriosis that I use birth control to keep at bay etc)." I'm sorry, isn't that the patients choice to make?
I came into Good Samaritan Hospital bleeding and she let me bleed out on the table for over 3 hours until I almost had a stroke and my daughter's heart stopped. I lost 4 pints of blood that day. My daughter Giovanna was in ICU and has nerve permanent nerve damage as well as permanent hearing loss. She now wears hearing aids. Save yourself and your baby. Choose someone else!
She is the best OB that I have ever been to. She listens to you and doesn't make you feel self conscious. She has been my doctor of over 15 year. She takes care of you and doesn't treat you like a number. Making appointments are easy. Depending on what you need will determine when your appointment is. Once there
Medical history ignored, complaints ignored. Wrong medication given, which causes more of the issue it's meant to treat and anyone with even minor knowledge should know that. I was told 'he doesn't feel anything' when I had a previous diagnosis and severe pain. I had to insist on having the required teasing which is standard for my condition. I had to play phone tag to get my medication fixed. I suffered terrible pain for about 2 months because of these mistakes. I will never see him again.
It's like she gets annoyed when you ask her medical questions. She doesn't make me comfortable.
I love Dr. Miller!!!! I have been a patient of Dr Miller for the past 16 years and I could not be happier. He is a kind, caring and concerned doctor. Recently, I needed breast surgery (mass discovered in a mammo) Dr. Miller's office called me before the office that conducted the biopsy did, and he recommended a doctor with a heart and hands of gold (Dr. Bradley Cohen). I think incredibly highly of Dr. Miller, and hope that he never retires because I don't know what I would do without him. A+++
