I went to see doctor Safa for a routine kidney check up and not only she was very attentive but she was also able to discover I had a type of autoimmune deficiency. This autoimmune deficiency had been missed by various prior primary care doctors. I owe Dr. Kalache my thanks for the care and going above and beyond for me.

I booked a new patient appointment for my mother online as it stated and still states that they are accepting new patients. On the day of my mothers appointment after seeing her medical history he states that he can not take my mother as a new patient because he is not accepting new patients. So clearly as a medical professional myself i am fully aware that he is not truly being honest only wants to dismiss her as a patient because of her issues which would have been more acceptable if told the truth then the lie about having too many patients. And please don't get me started on his nasty staff. Worst doctors office i have ever been too. Would not even recommend him to my worst enemy.

Dr. Julia Sundel at NYU-Park Slope Pediatrics. She was very insensitive and condescending with her tone and remarks throughout our conversation. She referred to me as “mommy”, I never met her or have a rapport with her. It was very unprofessional and belittle for her to call me anything but my name. She implied that my tone was aggressive and making her afraid, which gave a discriminatory undertone to the narrative that she was trying to paint. Her behavior reminded me of Amy Cooper case, the white woman who called the police on the black birdwatcher. I have not received any calls from my pediatrician to inquire about my child’s health or clinical manager regarding my complaint.

My mother wanted a second option/transfer of care from a physician in Mount Sinai. When attempting to make an appointment was told BY FRONT DESK that Dr. Kalache DOES NOT WANT TO SEE HER because another already saw her, then proceeded to hang up on me. WHAT!! This is a second option and transfer of care HOW DARE YOU. This is NON ETHICAL and poor staff manners to say the least. So disappointed. poor representation of what this MD could have been. We will take our service elsewhere to an MD that actually wants to see new patients.

The appointment was rushed. MD was dismissive and very quick to draw conclusions (about a medical issue that wasn't even in her field of expertise). Didn't let me finish my sentences. Didn't ask if I had any questions. Didn't apologize for the long wait. Can't believe this is NYU Langone.

Dr. Patel is an excellent doctor. As a family who has never dealt with allergies in the past, we were extremely anxious about our 9 month old's potential allergic reactions. Dr. Patel is thoughtful, patient and warm with both children and their parents. In his own words, his goal is for his patients to have as few restrictions as possible while staying healthy & safe. Never alarmist, he provides upfront information about the science of allergies and gives families practical steps for moving forward with a child with allergies. We talked about medical issues as well as lifestyle ones with respect to having a child with allergies which was quite comforting. He takes his time with his patients, explaining everything, and answering all questions thoughtfully and respectfully. You leave his visits with a print out of what was discussed, information, and tips for going forward. I enjoyed speaking with him, and I trust that he has our family's best health and interests at heart.

I saw Dr. Vozick for the first time yesterday and he is hands down the best GI doctor I’ve ever had. He listens and asks a lot of questions; he is incredibly attentive. For the first time, I feel like I’m going to get answers to my GI problems (I’ve been dealing with ineffective medications and doctors who didn’t seem to care for way too long). I can tell that I’m in good hands. 10/10 would recommend. Side note: the nurses and women at the front desk are so sweet and so helpful at the NYU Greenpoint location

Our 4 yr old has multiple food/environ. allergies, asthma & eczema. The need for hypervigilance is sometimes overwhelming. We glad to have Dr. Patel & his prof/caring team support us. He spends quality time to better understand our son & determine his treatment plan. We find him progressive in his approach and aware of new trends in his field. Recently, our son undertook an OFC. Unfortunately he did not pass. We were of course disappointed but remain optimistic & hopeful! Thx Dr. Patel.

The Dr. is nice even with a busy office he does not approach you with an attitude. But one of his staff members are rude to patients. I observed how a patient requested to come back after test result instead of a phone call. The worker gave an attitude and had no kindness. Also, he does not seem very knowledgable of the conditions my mother has. He listens and I had to ask if there could be more exams. He referred her to a Dr. who supposedly had to do more tests. But it was just another GI doc.

spend your copay someplace else. dr wolgel spends more time trying to figure out how to use his computer than discussing your health with you. refused to discuss urinalysis results related to my kidney stone, which was why i was referred to him in the first place. youre a UROLOGIST. you’re more than qualified to discuss a urinalysis. youre just lazy.

He changes offices very frequently and there is usually quite a wait time. This time I went to the office for an appointment scheduled some months back only to find a notice on the door saying that he was no longer there. With difficulty I got through to the new location and canceled my appointment. I was quite upset that the office staff had not informed me that he had moved, particularly since I had an issue I wanted to present to him. I will cut my cord with him today.
