Receptionist very rude over the phone when she called to confirm appointment for my child. I understand English but couldn’t understand her accent so I had to ask her to repeat herself and she did so with such an attitude very unprofessional. This was my second visit with my son to the doctor so I wanted to give it another chance but again I felt like rushed like a customer. He didn’t explain my son’s medical conditions and instead told me to go visit a hospital and ask for a pediatric urologist. Didn’t ask me if I had any questions or concerns and even if I did he didn’t seem helpful. It was such a short visit, in and out an on to the next customer because that’s how it felt like a customer not a patient

He was available at time that my regular urologist was away, but I felt like a "customer" someone to be dealt with and summarily disposed of, not very pleasant. His expertise is good, but his patient interpersonal skills are lacking.

I was able to receive Dr. Shtainer on the weekend and avoid going to the ER. His staff is very professional and the facility has all modern technology. He made a diagnosis the same visit and was able to treat me. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Shtainer is the best urologist in New York. I highly recommend him.

Dr Shtainer is a very professional physician and a kind human being. I recommend him to all my family and friends.

Although there was a slight wait, the Dr. was very attentive, was able to understand my problem, and was very thorough in explaining my options for treatment. I heard he was one of the best urology surgeons, so I found him and made the appointment.

Doctor didn't explain the medical condition, or what kind of medication he is prescribing and didn't even answer the questions and concerns i had with my child's medical condition. The whole visit with the doctor took 5 minutes including ultrasound and the amount of time it took him to send electronic prescription to my pharmacy. The last words from the doctor were you can go now.

Very dismissive and rude. would not recommend.
