Dr. Desantis is a great doctor however his office support and nursing staff in the Glens Falls Office as well as in the Albany office is very poor. Testing is not scheduled in an approriate time period. Tests that are scheduled are cancelled at the last minute. There is a lack of follow up by his office staff. The office personnel and nursing staff apear to be clueless at times and very disorganized

Every yearly visit became more and more rushed. Dr. Phang became more and more dismissive of anything I asked. Very arrogant. I finally decided enough was enough, and went elsewhere where I was treated with compassion and understanding, and could ask all the questions I wanted. I preceded with ablation, and am doing great!! Do yourself a favor, make the trip to NYC,and get a second opinion. Much better technology there, as well as more experienced and competent doctors.

Doctor Prieto called me after reviewing a pre op EKG I had that day. I believe it was May 4, 2021. The man saved my life because it revealed a heart attack. He was very insistent that I go to his office immediately for a follow up. I went. Doctor Patel took over. Currently recovering from a pretty bad situation with my heart. Thank you.

Upon my arrival, his staff was superb in assisting me. I am semi ambulatory. They got me a wheelchair and took me thru the first floor office to the elevator. When I arrived at the second floor, there was another office staff waiting for me. She took me directly to the exam room, where I was checked in, got my vitals taken and told the doctor would be in shortly. In under 5 minutes, he came in, discussed my health and he proceeded to listen to my heart and lungs. After discussing my meds and pending lab work, I was assisted to the elevator. Another staff member met me at the first floor and volunteered to wheel me directly to my car in the parking lot. The staff was very polite and went above and beyond in their duties. Dr Philip was very timely, with me waiting under 5 minutes. During the exam, at no time did I feel rushed he was very polite and informative. I highly recommend him.

Met Dr. Phang in Jan. 2017. I had a pulmonary embolism. Checkups went well. On 8 Feb.2020 I did not feel well. Went to the ER. The doctor was contacted and it an overnight stay for observation was recommended. Full workup and monitoring. When I saw the doctor he advised my heart rate had dropped to a low point in the mid 30's. Pros and Cons of a pacemaker were discussed and thanks to Dr. Phang's excellent medical knowledge and care, along with the staff at St. Peter's Hospital, I'm still enjoying life and family. 5 stars are not enough to express my gratitude.

Terribly rude.gives information that was very contradicting..very short with you and doesn’t listen to your concerns at all..literally told me to my face he doesn’t care about his patients. If there was a way I could report a doctor and have someone look into his conduct then I definitely would. Got into an argument with his weeks after I had a heart attack and heart surgery. Bottom of the list of the doctors that work with him, pick someone else

Dr Bishop and his team worked professionally on my two stents, and the St Peters staff at the hospital and Albany Associates complex were outstanding. This contributes to the great reputation that St Peters has maintained attracting these fine medical minds to our region....respectfully, Edison Gardner Jr

Where do I begin? Horrible appt. New to me as my former cardiologist just retired. No compassion, bedside manner. Mentioned twice how much time he was giving me (he was on the phone for 20 minutes trying to find a test result he couldn't find). Did not know why I was there, would not help me in any way. Have never met a Dr like him.

My husband was implanted with an ICD in 2015. The doctor was professional but seemed reluctant, at times, to explain things to us when we asked. I thought, at the time, that it could have been a cultural thing. We moved away in 2016 and have not had any issues until recently when his device started emitting alerts, on a Sat. night during a snowstorm. I came to the realization that the team had never provided us with enough information to understand what was happening. Our new team probably assumed that we had been provided with the 100 plus page brochure that should have been provided when he was implanted. I found it on the Internet! I also used YouTube to hear what the alerts sound like. Not very pleased with that whole Albany experience! Patients deserve to be informed!
