Awful experience. Didn't read my patient history. Tried to deny me food allergy testing which was recommended by another doctor in the office. Said there was no reason for it because food allergies would cause stomach upset which he would have known I had if he would've read my history. Told him I have ADHD which causes bad memory and he said something was as easy to remember as brushing my teeth which I don't have because of my disabilities and he also would've known if he looked at my history. I have autism and he said I was making a weird face at him. Manged to insult my 3 disabilities in less than 5 minutes because he left before that time. Worst experience ever. Very ableist.

I saw Romaneschi for a post cancer treatment annual check up. To his credit he did see new cancer on my larynx (different place than previous treatment) and performed a biopsy which confirmed it. But then he said he was referring me to a good doctor who would perform a laryngectomy. I inquired about treatment such as radiation. He said no; can undergo radiation only once. I immediately went to my cancer treatment physician/hospital and was told, "No, this is in a difference spot, is small/stage one, and treatable with radiation." And that is exactly what we did. In essence, Romaneschi is a quack. Romaneschi should NEVER have told me that.

I ended up here after problems with my last ENT doctor in Reno. So glad I picked this doctor. He is professional, a nice person, and truly cares about his patients. After lots of testing on my ear and hearing, he decided I needed a Specialist and referred me to a wonderful ENT surgeon in Sacramento who fixed my ear and hearing problems. I will be seeing Doctor Manoukian regularly to have ear wax cleaned from my ears. He has also referred me to a very good Physical Therapist who is working with me on my Vertigo. The best doctors have a wait for new patients but he is worth it. Don't go to anyone else when you can have the best, Dr. Manoukian. I am quite picky with doctors and I am very happy to have found this one.

He diagnosed me with parotid cancer and did a 10 hour surgery. He is an amazing surgeon. He explained everything so I could understand it. Very patient and very caring. Has a great staff of people working there. If you need surgery on head and neck, he is the doc. Awesome.

I had seen another ENT prior to seeing Dr. Romaneschi. The other ENT kept scheduling follow up visits but never diagnosed me with anything. After a simple consultation with Dr. Romaneschi  he immediately knew what was wrong and put me on the right path to healing. I am so grateful for his knowledge, kindness and expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Romaneschi.

I've had more than one appointment with Dr. Caten and I fond him to be helpful, caring, knowledgeable and efficient. I'd broken my eardrum and he helped me through the healing process. Great ENT man.

Dr is great!! His staff leaves a lot to be desired! Unanswered voice mails for upcoming surgery & to make payments. Wrong phone numbers on written information. Changed surgery times without notifying patients. All patients need a ride after surgery. Surgery is stressful enough without all the confusion created by his staff. A great dr with a horrible staff

He is the best diagnostician is our area. He is caring, intelligent, well informed, the best doctor overall. I would trust him with any procedure he thought necessary (and have for over 25 years.)

Dr. Mankoukian spent more time and focus talking into his recorder than paying attention to my symptoms or hearing my thoughts on my issues. His staff dropped the ball on allergy testing and never called back to follow through. I felt the visit was a waste of time . Waited 40 minutes past appointment time.

Had a painful procedure that didn't work to relive my inability to breath through my nose. My follow-up appointment was with a PA to remove splints from my nose. She didn't realize there was another set of stitches and tried to rip the splint out anyway. Ouch! Made a follow up appointment to ask why the procedure didn't work. After waiting for almost an hour and a half I walked out. It's a nice place with nice staff but seems to be a money mill.

I went to Dr. Manoukian on a referral from my current doctor. Following a required surgery, the outcome from a biopsy was not what I was hoping to hear. In all my interactions with Dr. Manoukian, he has explained every detail involved, always been extremely kind and thoughtful, and put my heart at ease. He has even called me after hours to discuss my health situation and on a subsequent call, to give me positive news. The office staff always very professional and always very welcoming, whether in the office or on the phone. Thank you Dr. Manoukian and the staff at Sierra Nevada ENT.

I had a consult for a thyroidectomy. A risk of that surgery is permanent vocal chord damage. Some people have natural vocal chord paralysis that has no symptoms, but leads to increased chance of vocal chord damage from surgery. Dr Manoukian told me I had vocal chord paralysis, thus reducing his liability if anything happened during surgery. The surgeon I chose to do my surgery confirmed that I did NOT have that paralysis. Why did Dr Manoukian need to hedge his bets?

He performed an unprofessional and extremely painful biopsy on me by not taking sufficient follicular cells and wanted me to come back for repeat biopsy and paying for it again. Not only was it like torture, but I also have to wait another week for new results. We all know how quit cancer can grow. I would never recommend dr Caten.

I have serious sinus disease. Since 1989 I experienced 3 surgeries and 1000's of hours struggling with sinus issues. We moved to Carson Valley believing the dry climate would help. It didn't. In desperation I begrudgingly went to Dr. Caten in the fall of 2018. He started me on Budesonide and combined with a sinus rinse twice a day and Fluticasone I feel like a minor miracles has happened. Dr. Caten is really good and knows what he is doing. He was candid and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Caten is such a professional that on my last visit 30 days ago he examined my sinuses and said come back in a year! I've seen the best ENT people in greater Sacramento area for 30 years and I can say with confidence Dr. Caten is someone you must see if you have sinus issues.

Dr. Romaneschi removed my daughter's tonsils which were continuously getting infected. We had a second opinion lined up but cancelled after meeting with him because we were so impressed with is diagnosis and explanations and therefore convinced it was the right thing to do. He was very thorough and even sat with her after the surgery to make sure she was ok. He also followed up with a phone call the next day. Her recovery was exceptional which I believe is due to his excellence as a surgeon.
