Dr. Sutton did my knee replacement June of 2017. I was very pleased with him and his staff. After about 2 weeks I only took pain medication at night so I could sleep. I only used a walker for 1 day when I came home. I did do all the pre-op exercises that he gave me to do. When I went to the physical therapist he gave me a solid A-. I was 69 when the surgery was done. It has now been a year and I have had absolutely no pain. I highly recommend Dr. William Sutton.
I waited for an hour and a half before I was called into see Dr. Miller. When I was finally called, I waited another 20 minutes in the exam room before he came in. To begin with, he did not have the MRI that his office had ordered and scheduled. I later discovered that it was indeed in his office. He was abrupt and unprofessional, in my view. I have changed doctors to a practice in Myrtle Beach and getting my medical records from Emerge Ortho is a nightmare. The charge you and you wait forever.
There aren't any reasons whatsoever,as to why I wouldn't recommend Dr. Scully. He's awesome, from his thoroughness before surgery, to pre and post op procedures. He goes through in detail your ailment and why feels the course of action is necessary.I hate going to the doctor, and I've never had sugery before, but he's an exception. I was comfortable, which isn't like me. Coincidentally, he was also my daughters ortho which i later found out from my wife at an appointment she attended. See Scully !
Very rude and unprofessional!
Went to David Summerfield for a fractured pelvis. Had asked for appointment with Dr.Hannun but he did not have appt open so I was asked if I would see his P.A. I cannot imagine getting any better care than I received from David. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered every question I had. Also the staff here was very friendly. I also used the patient portal to ask a question I had while recovering. I received an answer promptly as promised.
Terrible patient care, couldn't have spent less time reviewing the nurses notes I gave in depth. As he offered me a prescription that I stayed I had tried and was ineffective. I was the last patient of the day, he couldn't have made it more clear that he just wanted to go home. He let me leave the office crying in pain, instructing me to take a medication that causes me to vomit which I voiced to him. This was at the Wilmington office location, not southport. Worst PA I've ever met.
Waited for two weeks for an appointment and got there and the staff was more interested in having me fill out "their" paperwork than getting me in to see the Doctor. If they knew back when I made the appointment they needed this paperwork filled out, why didn't they mention it then. Not on the day of the appointment.
Dr Pecoraro is a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable doctor who spends as much time as needed with each patient. Sometimes this causes him to run alittle behind but he is well worth the wait. If you are not willing to wait while a doctor spends time with a patient who needs additional attention you probably should look for another doctor. I myself don't mind waiting---I might be the one who needs him next time.
I went to 2 other hand surgeons before going to Dr. Moore. He was the best by far in diagnosing and explaining my various conditions. He operated and did an excellent job. He also did my wife's carpal tunnel surgery and was excellent at that also. I highly recommend him.
After working with Dr. Pecoraro I can have a normal life again. 6 years ago he did a procedure on my back that lasted 6 years. I could shop, walk and function without pain. During my knee replacement he provided excellent care for my pain management. I highly recommend him.
He was very concerned... and very nice.
If you like a Dr. With no bedside manners, this guy is for you. He botched my disc replacement so I was in there frequently post surgery. He never recognized me in person or by name. He had never read his previous notes before coming into the office. He had also never reviewed the tests he requested prior to coming into the office to see me (2 MRI's and 2 CT mylograms). At one point post surgery he asked if he had operated on me ? Really ? At that point my wife refused to come back with me
Very kind and understanding, took the time to listen to me and performed a thorough examination. Made appropriate referral to one of his colleagues in this practice. My only complaint with OrthoWilmington is I did not receive return phone calls when I was trying to schedule appointment for a procedure with another physician in this group practice. I am a nurse and have worked with hundreds of doctors during my career and I highly recommend Dr. Rose if you have any problems with your back!
Terrible, no concern for ongoing pain. Terrible personal manner
Only time I met him was just before my surgery. Never again. Bad feeling, bad result.
Dr. Lescault and his staff are great. The nurse was very friendly and made good conversation above that of the normal patient/nurse exchange. My interface with the receptionist was similar. Dr. Lescault was very cordial and explained the results in simple detail related to my shoulder injury. His bedside mannerism was excellent. He recalled prior conversations from a recent office visit (~4 weeks ago) related to my overall issue and lifestyle which made me feel that he genuinely cared.
Dr. Lescault is outstanding. He actual takes the time to talk with and listen to his patients.
Staff is friendly and helpful, but I did have a problem scheduling surgery. But all in all I highly recommend.
I came to ask for help with my knee, and they did my X-ray! He even didn't look my x-ray and told me that you can't tell what the problem! Why then you did it!!? To charge me money!? Told me that I need MRI!!! Later he saved my x-ray so that another doctor can not find it! And they have been going to do X-ray again!!! To expose me to radiation again!! They charge me money and told me that it is nothing wrong with my foot!! ( I came with foot problem and knee problem) Avoid him!
AGREED! Take the worst bedside manner and couple that with his hands on a surgical table and it leads to disaster! I am permanently handicapped at the hands of Dr. Frueh. I suffer daily from a botched surgery. I was left with severe nerve and muscle damage. I have severe pain daily and depend on nerve and pain meds to get me through the night. PLEASE, people make sure you get a solid recommendation before going under surgery. This is and will be the greatest mistake of my life.
Dr. Marr is an experienced surgeon and competent doctor. He has a friendly personality. He explains everything in understandable terms, and describes what to expect . I found all of the staff to be helpful and efficient.
I have referred several of my friends to Dr. Marr and they all have scheduled surgery dates.
Dr Boswell has done both of my carpal tunnel release surgeries and I couldn't be happier. He is very patient and understanding of your concerns , he takes the right amount of time in the room and has remarkable bed side manners.
Attentive, knowledgeable, great manners, provided surgical assistance with lumbar surgery with excel outcome
I had my right hip replaced by Dr. Frueh in May 2016. He is the BEST. I cannot begin to express my admiration of Dr. Frueh, not only for his outstanding skill as a surgeon (minimally invasive procedure), but his great personality. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering hip replacement surgery.
Dr. is ok except that you can't see his P.A. where you need to. Can see Dr. in one office, have surgery in your closest hospital, but then have to try to figure how to get someone to get you way away from where you live because "that's how it's done." very hard on an over 80 years old patient. whatever happened to concern for the patient?
Honest, talented, patient. My entire family uses him, and no one else.
My personal experience with Mr. Dore was at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune for treatment of a fractured patella. I cannot say enough good thing about Mr. Dore. I trusted him with my knee and would trust him with my life. He was very meticulous about explaining the condition of my knee, the appropriate treatments, and the possible outcomes. I always looked forward to my appointments with him, was sad to leave, and am disheartened that he is no longer practicing at NHCL, but wish him the best!
He is the only good doctor left at Orthowilmington. Really listens and gives solid treatments. I am a super complicated case. He works around my nerve damage like no other. Give him time. He always works his way up from least intrusive treatments. He has never failed me
Excellent surgeon.I was walking after a total knee replacement, without a cane in 4 weeks. My knee is straight and works perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the results.
Dr. Frueh is great! He did both my hip replacements and I would recommend him highly.
Took too long to send notes to Comp. Had to call office after 10 days to have him send his notes.
Personable, listens, follows through, provides reasonable other than surgical plan if possible, extremely professional!
Took excellent care of my daughter when she fractured her arm after a fall. Very professional, excellent bedside manner, made her (and me) feel very comfortable that we were receiving the best treatment possible.
Very caring and committed to patients full return to maximum mobility and best quality of life. I would recommend Dr. Boswell and his Associates to others who have suffered and orthopedic injury.
The Jacksonville, Henderson Dr. office staff are courteous, friendly and caring. Their professionalism is head and shoulders above any that I have encountered at other Dr's offices. Thank you!
