Dr. Kataria is a very caring person. He includes you in the decisions when there can be more than one decision. He is very knowledgeable. He takes his time and listens to you. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Smoker is one of the most brilliant clinicians I have ever had the privilege of being seen by. She is extremely thorough and thoughtful and speaks to you in plain English without condescending. She is knowledgeable about so many conditions and is an excellent listener. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Visit was normal, I was nervous at first but when they put me to sleep it was a fast procedure. Kind of still feeling the medicine that was injected to put me to sleep it was walking on clouds but eventually got out it.

Saw him at UNM while I was hospitalized. Saved my life. Highly recommend.

I have a hiatel hernia causing esophogeal spasms, choking in middle of the night, food scrapes throat all the way down and unable to inhale or exhale without pain.i was offered to try another medication for acid reflux.... WOW!

I was sent from urgent care to the ER for an urgent MRI. I was a 30 yr old female presenting with vision loss in one eye that had happened overnight. I was refused an MRI and told a cat scan would suffice. Dr. Berglund told me I had a migraine and to take the offered treatment. I argued that I had migraines in the past and this was not a migraine and I refused treatment. He indifferently looked at me and said “come back when you actually want to be treated or if you break your leg”. He was 100% sure he was right and he was incredibly arrogant about it. A family friend called in a favor and arranged an MRI weeks later and an appointment with an ophthalmologist . I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 3 months later. Maybe, just maybe, he would benefit from believing other doctors when they say a patient needs an MRI and listening to the patients presenting symptom. Optic neuritis is typically the first sign of MS.

This interventional radiologist was condescending and unprofessional with me. I got worse after she worked on me. Fortunately a doctor was able to reverse what she did. In the meanwhile I was in excruciating pain, couldn’t work and pain was in much worse pain than I have ever experienced in my life. I wish I had not cut corners used a surgeon instead. First do no harm. I feel like a fool for going to her. I wish that healthgrades would not allow her to write positive reviews about herself on here.

Dr. Kataria, along with all the nurses and techs were upbeat, professional, and very reassuring in a stressful situation. They all listened to my concerns and responded respectfully. It was a very good experience.

Dr. Kataria was extremely attentive, informative and instructive. He has a great "bedside manner." Most of all I left with good directions for improving my health.

Along with an informative session, I appreciated Dr K's ability to listen and to smile, and his patience and empathy. I've lived with IBS for 50 years.
