Review of Dr. Halegoua-De Marzio

- in GLEN MILLS, PA |

MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. HALEGOUA-DE MARZIO WAS BEYOND A TREMENDOUS EXPERIENCE. SHE WAS TRULY AMAZING AND WE ARE SO BLESSED THAT SHE IS IN PHILADELPHIA. IF SHE EVER RELOCATED I WOULD SPEND GOOD MONEY TO TRAVEL AND SEE HER. MY ISSUES WERE CAUSING ME A LOT OF ANXIETY. AFTER MY EXAM WITH HER AS WELL AS A VERY IMPORTANT TEST THAT SHE WAS ABLE TO DO RIGHT IN THE OFFICE I LEFT MY APPOINTMENT FEELING INCHES TALLER. SHE PUT A SPECIFIC PLAN TOGETHER FOR ME AND ALSO CHECKED THROUGH MY ENTIRE HISTORY AND DID A GREAT AMOUNT OF "HOMEWORK" IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME TO FAMILIARIZE HERSELF WITH EVERYTHING GOING ON WITH ME. SHES A ROCK STAR FOR SURE AND THE ENTIRE OFFICE GAVE ME FABULOUS TREATMENT AND FRIENDLINESS. DEFINITELY WORTH A TRIP INTO THE CITY FROM THE SUBURBS. SHE'S AWESOME

Review of Dr. Kastenberg

- in Philadelphia , PA |

I continued to get sicker, it was i’ll see you in 3 months. I had a test and he said good news it’s not it. I was grateful. I knew something was terribly wrong I continued to get sicker losing weight and not keeping food down. I kept telling him over and over and his nurse Cheri. Oh we’ll try this med and that med, having no idea what they are treating. I’m so thankful I found a new phenomenal GI. He was incorrect my test was positive and I’m quite ill. I wish they would of been honest telling me they had no idea how to help/treat me. Instead I continued to decline. Nurse Cheri not pleasant and waiting for call backs. I would never recommend these two. Awful experience.

Review of Dr. Kastenberg

- in Philadelphia, PA |

Told me he that food was not related to Crohn's disease, my symptoms were not related to Crohn's. I asked for a referral to the GI nutritionist - who told me that lots of Crohn's patients DO HAVE FOOD ISSUES and she recommended diet changes that WORKED! I've since left Jeff GI for Marcus Inst, also at Jeff, as they understand auto-immune disease. Once I pushed back about my care the staff became discourteous and multiple faxes from my insurance co disappeared mysteriously.

Dr Halegoua-DeMarzio is an exceptional and thorough physician. She explains treatment/diagnostic tests in detail, has a wonderful bedside manner and does not rush through the appointment. I would highly recommend her as she is sharp and on-point.

Wish I could give 10 stars. Dr. Halegoua is the consummate professional. She is very knowledgeable in her specialty, but beyond that, she listens to her patient and is compassionate to what they are going through. Yesterday in the midst of a huge snow storm knowing we were anxious to hear test results, she texted us all day even though her office closed at noon. She is truly rare among her peers

Review of Dr. Katz

-Medford, NJ |

I went to Dr. Katz knowing something is wrong and he dismissed me. I continued to have problems so I tried another gastroenterologist who did a colonoscopy for me. Turns out I had pre-cancerous polyps and I was told it would have been full blown cancer in 6 months. Thank God I didn't listen to Dr. Katz and went for a second opinion.
