Very unprofessional, no time to talk, bad service. Left door to the room & when nurse said there is no injection is available, she closed the door. And the nurse came back with an injection. She asked me to take blood test but did not give paperwork. had to go back to get it. Was not even willing to answer any questions I had. Gave me injection and then asked me to take tables which resulted in double doze. Even when I asked if it is okay to take medicines orally, she said it is fine and walked away. Asked 2 other doctors and they asked me not to take medicines orally after the injection. She does not care about the patients. Too lazy to have a conversation with patients. How on earth do such people become doctors?

Ms Patel was patient, caring, and very thorough. I have been dealing with a dermatology issue for years and she took her time to evaluate me, explain the condition, go over treatments, and answer my questions. I would highly recommend Metropolitan dermatology and Ms Patel. I will be back at this office if I have any further dermatology issues in the future.

I hope a Metro dermatology doctor although this page lists her as a physician assistant. I agree with the other reviews about her bedside manner. She comes across as cold and robotic. I asked questions to get very little response. I guess if you need a prescription, it’s worth the trip. If you’re seeking new and innovative ideas on treating your ailment, this is not the doctor to get answers from.

Wonderful experience with Metropolitan Dermatology, Inga PA-C is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my skin, but also, she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. Inga is knowledgeable, sensitive, informative It is rare to find a healthcare provider that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. Really took her time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

I am not sure how to begin. When I first started going to their location in Jersey City, I thought I had found the perfect dermatologist. I was seeing Dr. Jalpa Patel. At first she was very kind, but after awhile, especially this past year I started to notice the lack of care and her demeanor. Besides the fact that it is extremely difficult to leave a message or use their patient portal which their doctors don’t even use, I am very disappointed with how things turned out with this place. If you are looking for a dermatologist who is empathic towards skin concerns/acne. Please do not see Dr. Jalpa Patel. I am not sure how their other dermatologist are, but based off my experience there, they don’t seem to care about being there for their patients

Where do I start? I made the mistake of not looking her up prior to the appointment and now regret that decision. Took my child to see her (first time) for some skin conditions. She would NOT listen to what I had to say. I wanted to show her some pictures (since it took a long time to get an appointment and wanted to show her pictures in case the rash subsided) and she was uninterested. She made excuses why the pictures were not valid. As a medical professional myself, I am appalled at her lack of sympathy, compassion, and understanding. What a waste of time and money.

I hate to write this but, my experience was not good and I would not recommend a visit with Dr Beckford. I felt the visit was not informative, and she rushed my appointment I waited 15mins in the waiting room for a 4 minute visit! I literally felt like I just went there to pay a 40 copay. Patients should feel like their concerns are addressed and not rushed or an inconvenience to the Dr.

She is rude and doesn't seem to want to be within 10 feet of the patient. She talks so fast and makes you feel uncomfortable. Now with that being said she prescribed medicine for my daughter's acne and her face has gotten much better and my daughter is happy. The staff is great, the wait was a bit long for a 5 min assessment. She was in and out and didn't explain much. I never wanted to go back after the 5 min appt. But I can't deny the results.

I went in for acne on by back and chest but instead she wanted to treat the small amount on my face. She didn't listen to me during any of the visits and kept trying to give me more prescriptions for my face than address what I truly came in for. She never once asked about how it affected me or why I wanted it gone. At my last appointment, she said she would return with a sample but instead sent the nurse in. I was not provided with any education on what I should be doing with this sample nor could I ask any questions since she just decided she didn't want to finish my appointment. I will not return to the office, especially after office staff "forgot" to call to cancel my appointment.

We had a follow up check up with her. She let us wait for 30mins and saw us for 5mins. In the middle of a conversation she stood and ready to leave the room . She is less attentive to what I say and was rushing and talking toofast. She didn’t even bother to ask if we have anymore concerns. When I ask her one last question before she leaves , she replied I should hurry up cause she still have a lot of patients and can’t stay any longer ( only 3 patients waiting in the lobby that time) .

Dr. Beckford has the worse possible manners I have ever encountered. She spent about 90 seconds (no exaggeration) with me, walked away and I had no idea that she was done. I waited and waited until someone came in to tell me that she was done and had prescribed me medication. I never felt more insulted by a physician.

This Doctor right here is phenomenal!!! Not only did she perform surgery on me, she was so awesome that she never left a scar!!!! I've had no issues since she performed my surgical procedure. She's amazing!!!

Dr. Inga is great! Just had VBeam laser done by her for rosacea. She was fantastic and very intuned with any concerns I had and kept checking in to make sure I was doing okay throughout the laser treatment.

I came few times for a cosmetic treatment injections. The Dr. was very nice but overproduced just to sell me more treatments and convincing me for things that were far from reality. Made me demadge instead of fixing my problem and overpriced it.

I visited the Jersey City office a couple of weeks ago for a consultation. Needless to say after waiting weeks for my appointment, I was missed diagnosed with vitiligo ( auto immune disorder) when all it was a fungal infection on my scalp. After further research on my own the spots on my scalp went away with just using Seldom blue shampoo. I would never recommend this practice to anyone. If you’re thinking about making an appointment, I suggest you do a thorough research.
