The first person I saw was very thorough and spent a lot of time. When she was finished the Dr. Came in my and looked at computer notes did a quick exam and didn’t seem to have time for questions or advice.

This doctor and his entire staff and surgical team are absolutely amazing they made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire experience they explained everything to me in detail from step 1 till the end they really gave me my life back I can really see so clearly now and I was legally blind before the procedures they are amazing very good bedside manner as well I highly recommend Dr. Heath Ergas and his team for all of your eye care needs

I appreciate that Dr. Ergas is approachable if I have concerns or questions. I have been a patient for years and it is obvious he cares about his patients. He and his partner Dr. Johnston do mission trips out of the country and Mission Cataract, right here in Jacksonville. It is rare to have doctor who you feel is looking out for your best interests but I feel that way about Dr. Ergas.

Just had cataract surgery and Dr. Heath Ergas did it. I was in great hands, he was very informative and put my mind at ease with the answers he gave to my questions. I have already asked for him to do my other eye. His office staff are great also. They helped me with getting my meds when I was having problems.

Please be aware when visiting Dr Ergas. He never takes time to fully explain your medical issues and advises you correctly so you can make the best decision. He did my cataract surgery and implanted the wrong lense in my eye and it has been 6 months now and my eye feels worse than before the surgery. If you have to visit him ask him to spend time and explain everything. He is the doctor not you.He needs to advise you on your best option and not expect you to make a decision without his help.
