Review of Dr. Burke

- in Wake Forest, NC |

The low rating is based on Dr. Burke's expertise in treating Lewy Body dementia. He does not treat LBD patients with LBDA Scientific Advisory Council recommended protocols. He refused to give my husband any medications for LBD symptoms. I am now an LBD author, educator, and advocate. My dementia caregiver class is affiliated with UNC and LBDA. As of 2018, I continue to meet families of Dr. Burke's LBD patients who report that he still does not give appropriate LBD care.

Review of Dr. O'Brien

- in Washington , DC |

He treated my 85 year old mom with such compassion, kindness and civility. Never did he treat her as the "next Alzheimer's patient". His intuition was keen; hence he knew how to work with her through her concerns. He is beyond compassionate, kind and genuine. Thank you, Dr. O'Brien for your time, gentility and sincerity.

Review of Dr. Stuart

- |

Dr. Stuart only likes to collect neurological diagnostic tests for her research purposes. I saw her and had 8 hours of testing and she provided results. When I asked if she could confirm these results she didn't want to. She doesn't stand by her results and it's a waste of time because I had to see another doctor for the same exact tests.

Review of Dr. Bedlack

- in Wilmington, NC |

How anyone could leave anything less than 5 stars for Dr Bedlack and the entire Duke ALS Clinic is beyond me. He is one of the world’s foremost experts on ALS and motor neuron disease, his bedside manner is as good as you could ask for, his clinicians and staff are experts, the office is both caring and efficient and without him and his staff I feel positive I would be in a wheelchair or at least using a walker full time. Absolute experts from speech, occupational and physical therapy to MDs

Review of Dr. Burke

- in Salisbury, NC |

Not sure what Yo-Yo rated Dr. Burke one star! I found Dr. Burke highly qualified, experienced, highly intelligent and tops in his field with a stellar reputation among peers. Dr. Burke is kind, engaging, thoughtful, explained condition with extreme precision, was very generous with his time and a great listener. Dr. Burke is a wonderful person and a superb physician. note: His credentials are astounding!

Review of Dr. Collins

-

Rude, condescending, aloof, treated me horribly! I was so taken aback by his bedside manner that I almost left during the exam. I waited close to 6 months for my appt to leave with no better info than what I arrived with. I am a nurse who has spent many years working with hundreds of doctors and he is truly at the bottom of the list of who I would ever recommend to anyone!

Review of Dr. Collins

Rude and condescending are the nicest things I can say about this guy. He lacks compassion. He showed up 25 minutes late for my appointment which was the first of the day. I wouldn’t send my enemy to him for treatment.
