Review of Dr. West IV

Dr West performed rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder in 2017. He informed me that one of the tears I had was very old and could not be repaired. After 10 weeks of PT my shoulder still did not function satisfactorily. Dr West then suggested we do a cadaver graft (which he specializes in). After 10 more weeks of PT my shoulder is still very painful and my ROM is horrible. I'm now supposed to have an MRI... I'm so frustrated and don't know who else to go to. After all I've been through I cannot accept the fact that I'm not "fixed". I'm an artist and I need my arm to work as it once did. I was told from so many nurses and staff that Dr West was "the best". I'm not so sure of that. Maybe I'm just the odd man out.

Review of Dr. Lechner

I saw Dr.Lechner in 2014 for a ganglion cyst removal on my right wrist. He chose a non traditional approach to the cyst's removal from the top of my wrist, rather than under my wrist, where the cyst was present. The cyst reappeared weeks after surgery, but Dr. Lechner insisted it was just "swelling." He completely denied that the cyst if it was a figment of my imagination. I need the surgery repeated now ( and have needed it repeated since the original surgery) but haven't had the PTO to take time off work for another surgery. Humility and honesty are not his strong points. I will be finding a different surgeon for the next operation.

Review of Dr. Thornburg

He always had a smile on his face but that was the only thing "pleasant" about him. He refused to do any scans to see what was going on with my flexor tendon repair, after the first surgery left me with very little range of motion and a spitting suture. Second surgery is not showing any more positive results than the first, as far as range of motion. He spent very little time with me at appointments and didn't seem to care about my concerns. Had an "oh well" attitude time and time again.

Review of Dr. Lechner

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Lechner. He operated on my hand and it turned out to be worse afterward. Then the tendon in my wrist became very tight and painful above the scar, from where I had the surgery on my right thumb. I had to have surgery again and it is still not right. Dr. Lechner is supposed to be a very good hand surgeon, but not in my book.

Review of Dr. Lechner

I had an awful experience with Dr. Lechner and I would discourage anyone from going to him for any kind of medical help. I had scheduled surgery with him but changed my mind to pursue a non-surgical option (acupuncture for carpal tunnel). When acupuncture failed, I returned to Dr. Lechner who was rude and who told me my hand would never get better. He told me my other hand was at stage 4 (out of 4) arthritis. This turned out to be a lie. It was the worst Dr. experience of my life. Stay away.

Review of Dr. Lehman

Very caring physician. Will talk to you like you are a person not a patient and explains everything from diagnosis to procedure on a level that can be understood. She did my PRP injection in my hip. No pain -- thank goodness because I don't like pain at all.

Dr. West corrected a torn rotator cuff for myself and my husband. Surgery results for both of us has been outstanding. Very little pain medication was needed.

Review of Dr. Thornburg

Terrible experience with Dr. Thornburg. He spent literally about three minutes with my son and seemed irritated that I had questions. He was uncaring and condescending. I plan to go elsewhere to have my son's stitches taken out, and would not recommend him to anyone.
