1st visit he went by a questionnaire & didn't speak but it looks like you don't get along well with others ! Really then how is it I've been @ my job the past 25 yrs customer service ?!? And a ttl of 32+ He wanted to triple my rx I've been on since 08 , if something's not broke why play with it ?!? And don't get me started on the $$ overpaid to him & if I want the refund I have to come to the office ! Any Company or Dr I've ever overpaid they sent a CK ... Guess they feel they need it more than me . St Dominic should be ashamed having him work under their name !

I have received the worst care of my life at this clinic. The doctor is a pill pusher, and extremely unkind. He spends barely 5 minutes in a session with you. The nursing staff is so unkind as well, they did not keep up with my prescriptions and I was in a constant state of confusion because of poor record keeping. They overbook leaving lengthy wait times. I also posted this review to Google, where the owner replied “thanking” me for a letter of retraction, which I did not send. I wrote a letter explaining I would not be returning to their clinic. Therein is a deception that should not be allowed. I hope that no one goes to this clinic.

He does not listen or care about anyone. Pill pusher. Don’t think he knows what any of it does. I found a real doctor without a god complex and a lot less money hungry and I’m 1000 percent better. Please listen I wasted 4 years on this person no progress found a real doctor 6 months later I’m back to doing everyday things again and still see progress. If you care about yourself and your love ones don’t go to this MAN (doctor).

I’m just going to say, I absolutely love Dr. Bishop! I have been going to him for years now, have been through many ups and downs and he has always been there. He’s even seen me in a pinch. His office staff and everyone have all been more than accommodating to me. I actually enjoy my visits.

He doesn’t care about his patients. He will throw the whole medicine cabinet at you without a second thought. Shouldn’t be allowed to prescribe medicine to anyone. All he cares about is having as many patients and sessions as possible so he can make money. Do not see him if you’re dealing with serious emotional and mental issues.

Absolutely very little wait, to the point and finds best path to wellness! Very open and attentive. Highly recommend

Zero stars. His “nursing staff” is the rudest staff I’ve ever met—and I’ve been seeing psychiatrists for nearly ten years. He is not only a pill pusher—happy to prescribe anything and everything without considering the consequences, He runs behind by LITERAL HOURS. You will sit and wait a ridiculously long time. As I said, I have been seeing psychiatrists for a while, and he is by far the worst. I have never waited as long as I have to wait at his practice with the exception of an mea during flu season.

Actually he does not get one star. He overbooks, long waits, then if you get 5 minutes with him consider it a long visit! He does not listen, constantly adds or changes prescriptions, I was so drugged I could not function and my children were horrified. One of the meds he gave me put on 45 pounds in a month, one made my blood platelets plummets! He is a pill pusher with no concerns and should not be allowed to practice. When I left it took 4 months to get my records and they were not complete, and also not factual, scribbled so badly they could not be read. He did not dare put any prescriptions in but luckily my pharmacy had them all! His personnel is rude unfriendly, and very uncooperative. If I knew what to do to get an investigation started to snatch his license I would do it in a heartbeat. Please think twice before seeing this pill pushing quack. I am 100% better without him! You just cannot imagine what I went through at his hands. He is dangerous!

He’s my regular Psychiatrist. He diagnosed me with GAD after I had been misdiagnosed as having Bipolar disorder by a previous physician 19 years ago. He’s a lifesaver. I def recommend him. His office staff is super nice as well.

This man is amazing, i love that he tells it like it is. Sometimes its hard to hear, but needed.If you need a psychiatrist hes your man. If you need a counselor he will recommend one . His job is to diagnose and treat and hes the best. He will listen, but his job isnt to counsel. Ive veen told a few times i had 2 choices let life stay the same or change, its what i needed to hear. So those complaing ,you dont like the truth find a doc to hug you. If you want real help, see Dr. Bishop.

He is a very busy brilliant Doctor who takes care of many patients. He is outstanding and he has done scientific research. He is one of the very few psychiatrists who accepts Health insurance in Mississippi. Other Psychiatrists charge $500 per visit cash! He is very experienced and we are lucky to have him practicing in our community!

Was rude. I told him I had trouble getting out of bed in the morning and finding a purpose and keep in mind I struggle wit him severe depression and anxiety and he said I just needed to grow up and get over it and perscribed me more drugs and that was it. Both of my appointments were 5-10 minutes tops. I would say more around 5

Just pushing pills. $71 for a Rx and get out.

He's a good Doctor. I will be going back. I was scared at first thanks to all these reviews. He was very helpful. I think these people were having a bad day and needed to blame someone. So take a chill pill and go back. Dr. Bishop is a keeper. Thank you Jesus.

I've seen Dr. Bishop for about 9 years now. He's a great doctor and takes time to explain things and help you understand why things in the brain work the way they do. His staff is amazing as well. They have all become like family to me.

When I first begain seeing doctor Bishop I was suicidal, my depression was very bad. I didn't want to do anything but sit around and cry, after spending time with doctor Bishop and taking the prescribed medication and seeing the recommended counselor and meeting with her on a weekly basis I started to feel much better and the suicidal thoughts became less and less. I am currently doing much better and I have doctor Bishops to thank for that.
