Horrible experience. She was condescending, dismissive, and arrogant. Someone who is as supercilious as she is should not be in a position that requires compassion. She made me lose my private disability insurance without any regard to how it would impact my life. An independent physician was shocked by her actions (she is not a doctor). I was never able to return to work after my surgery. She, however, who knew little about my case and talked to me for five minutes, informed the insurance company I could go back to work the very day I talked with her. She didn’t bother to inform me that she was doing that. The surgeon had told me to come into the office for recertification of my insurance, then she did what he did.

In December 2018, Dr Barack replaced my right hip due to hip impingement. Following surgery, I had more pain, walk with a limp and remain in more pain now then prior to surgery. Dr Barack will point to X-ray and will say it’s “perfect” but makes no suggestions or has anything to do with my pain. He doesn’t listen, doesn’t care and is arrogant and callous. I am so sorry I ever did the replacement with him (and yes, Ice tried everything from PT, rest, acupuncture, injections, etc). Says can’t guarantee anything since not none on bone.

By far the best doctor I've ever been to. The staff and everyone were amazing Dr Boyer fixed my right hand for me after months and months of pain and suffering. And he was the funniest doctor I've ever met and he makes sure you have a smile on your face all the way into the surgery until you go to sleep I can't think them enough.

Dr. Barrack replaced both of my hips at the same time in 2010. One of the hips dislocated in 2011 when I slipped on the ice and that was followed by 4 other dislocations - one traumatic because I didn’t look where I was walking and three due to stretching or twisting the hip joint - over the next 6 years. In 2018, after several x-ray studies Dr. Barrack had a new ball and socket made for my hip implant and relocated the socket and the hip joint is very stable now with excellent range of motion. Dr. Barrack is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I agree that he doesn’t excel in bedside manner and often leaves explanations about the surgical procedures to his nurse. However, if you’re inquisitive about your x-rays while he’s looking at them and ask him questions about your surgery he opens up quite a bit. I would ask the patients who still have pain in their joints how serious they were (and still are) about their physical therapy.

I had my Right knee replaced in 2017 with Dr Barrack. He presented cold and impersonal. On initial exam, he 1st sent in his fellow to examine me, he didnt identify himself but started asking me questions. I stopped him and asked him to identify himself, which he did. He completed his exam then told me Dr Barrack will be in shortly. When Dr Barrack entered the room, he immediately starts talking to his fellow doctor without a "hello, I am ...". I AM the patient who is paying for your services and you wont offer a simple, uplifting greeting. He was rude and cold. I had several post-OP visits and told him that I still have pain and numbness in the operated knee. He said it should resolve within 3 yrs. It is now July 2020 and it is STILL painful and numb as if it was never done. I have CHRONIC PAIN level 7 all day long. I cant walk more than 30 minutes at a time. I shouldnt have had my surgery by him. Maybe by someone who truly cared. I would NOT REFER this man to anyone.

Dr. Prather was brought in by my Orthopedic Surgeon on an emergency consultation when symptoms presented for him that he wanted her involvement on, immediately. I will forever be grateful for him getting her in within 30 minutes. She confirmed his diagnosis and set a treatment plan in motion that instant. In the beginning, April 2019, the communication via MyChart was a lengthy process and frustrating. However, by June 2019 that changed and the communication and ability to contact her staff has been great. She listens, validates my concerns and will push for things that are important and feels I should try. She has a great reputation and has put me in contact with the specialists I need for my chronic nerve disease. When I presented her with what I thought could be a ridiculous request in regards to the current temperature checks due to Covid19. She said it wasn't and took care of it instantly. It was helpful within a week. I highly recommend her.

I asked for a "top 5 knee surgeon list" from my physiatrist and my physical therapist, both of whom had been treating my knees for more than a decade and know me AND my knees very well. Dr. Adelani was the only doctor on both lists, so I felt secure that we would be a good fit. After my initial phone call with her RN, I felt even more confident she would be my choice. Dr. Adelani is focused and direct, she thoroughly answered all of my endless questions, both before and after my TKR surgery, and I never felt she was trying to brush me off. Not only is she a wonderful surgeon, she also has an outstanding team to provide post-surgical support! My first surgery was in January 2020; although my second TKR had to be postponed due to COVID-19 complications, I am eagerly waiting for it to be rescheduled later this year.

Very caring and through, both listens and explains well. Formulated a clear plan, asked if I agreed and then if she had “missed anything”.

Dr. Adelani is the best. I had a total knee replacement in August of 2018 and have had no pain or problems since. I recently tore my miniscus in my other knee and she was caring and compassionate as we discussed possible treatments. No rushing and the patient is part of the decision making. Now to address some of the negative reviews above. The x-rays are done by Barnes and she is not responsible for the cost. The shot in the joint is standard treatment for many joint issues and she is not quick to suggest surgery, but you went to her because she's a surgeon! She is extremely caring and kind!!

I had hip resurfacing with Dr Barrack in 2008 and the other hip in 2014. Have not had any issues with either hip since the surgery. In May 2019 I had partial knee MAKO surgery and recovered quickly with Dr Barrack. I’m 59 and compete in Olympic Duathlons and Sprint Triathlons. All three surgeries were flawless. If not for the excellent job by Dr Barrack and his staff I would not have the quality of life I have today. John Hill Bentonville, AR 12-2-19

Dr La Bore has been a life saver for many many years. I feel he has a deep concern for his patients. He take great pride in helping me to get pain relief. He also makes sure I’m not feeling discomfort during injections. He is absolutely the best Dr. in pain relief in St. Louis county. I drive from St Charles to see him and it’s worth it. Thank you so much for being my Dr. Sincerely Robin Connoyer

I had the guided steroid injection in my shoulder today. I was so impressed I had to write my review! From start to finish everything was as ideal as it could be, considering it was a medical procedure. Dr.Colorado and staff made me feel at ease, listened to my concerns and basically babied me through the entire process. I can never thank him enough for his excellent care and it was 100% pain free! The entire appointment took less than 25 minutes and started right on time, zero waiting. Amazing!
