Dr Hanson was excellent! He didn’t rush into surgery-he did appropriate testing to ensure that was the right option. Once it was decided, he was wonderful the day of surgery to me and my family! The incision is small and pain was minimal. I just went for my post op visit and my incision looks great. Even after surgery, he took the time to sit and answer my questions. He encouraged me to call if I had any issues in the future. I would recommend to anyone and would trust him to care for me again as well as my family.

Poor I was refused service if I did not allow them to copy my ID. I showed them my ID and allowed them to copy any information required. I even offered to allow them to photograph me. But they refused to see me without a copy of the ID.

I would not recommend Dr. Hanson to anyone. I went to him because I started having issues with my tonsils and needed them removed. I only met with his NP Jessica Wild(she was great) up until 5 mins before surgery. He stated I was a unique case because of the size of my tonsils. Surgery went fine but recovery was not fine. The next day I started bleeding really bad and was grateful I was able to stop it with gargling ice water. But when Dr. Hansen was contacted he asked how it happened. My wife told him I coughed. His response was..."well he shouldn't be coughing". I just had surgery yesterday with all sorts of tubes down my throat and all you can say is...."he shouldn't be coughing" I also explained to him that I couldn't even swallow my own saliva because my throat, uvula and tongue were swollen, not from the actual surgery, but from the tools they used to hold everything out of the way. Dr. Napoli is very patient oriented and very thorough. She is very patient and listens to the patient and does her absolute best to help them. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

I came to the office on August 1, 2022. I told Dr. Hanson I was having nose bleeds. In the past I've needed to have it cartarized. He barely looked at my nostril. I told him this is how it's fix everytime, but he insisted that I just need some ointment. I had 3 more nose bleeds after I started using it. Luckily I was able to get another appointment on the 10th with a different doctor and have it cartarized before I boarded a plane the next day. Basically Dr. Hanson wasted my time and my $60 copay to do absolutely nothing.

Excellent. Office appointments are quick at the DePaul location. Dr. Hanson did surgery to cure the condition. Very compassionate person.

He is no nonsense, takes his time to understand your issues and knows what to do to help resolve the issue. Friendly and efficient staff as well.

Dr Hanson, a real gentle giant, is the best model of the doctor/patient relationship. He listens intently to your concerns, He takes notes, asks probing questions related to your concerns. He took time with me and made me feel so relieved. I wish I had seen him sooner.

Horrible, he never called back after getting an MRI, I had hearing loss and hasn’t done anything about it! Money hungry, but doesn’t care about anything else.

I had a sudden and serious hearing loss in right ear in a 24 hour period that proved not related to my hearing aids. My audiologist/ hearing pro called Dr. Hanson’s office and got me into see him immediately which surprised us both! He said he considered this to be an emergency and addressing it immediately was key to improving the loss. Well, He was right! After 2 weeks of drug treatment my hearing has returned! Dr. Hanson was helpful, hopeful, and happy for me . my thanks to everyone!

My husband came to him with chronic throat pain feeling like something was stuck. Dr. Hanson did not even do a scope... did not even seem interested in listening to my husbands concerns before he just said... it's a throat infection and gave him a script for 2 antibiotics. After a near fatal cycling accident, Dr. Hanson was assigned to reconstruct the right part of my trachea/larynx. Not sure if they were crushed from the impact or afterwards. However, Dr. Hanson with the help of a resident student Dr. Byrd, did an outstanding job with the repairs. For most of the time I saw Dr. Hanson, I couldn't speak and frankly didn't remember some of it due to induced coma from being in ICU. Being vocal about what I wanted to get accomplished he worked to suit my needs.

I suffered chronic nosebleeds since 2005 after a severe allergic reaction to a drug given after a brain aneurysm. I was treated several times with silver nitrate, but that didn't last very long, these doctors not seeming to believe the cause was related to the allergic reaction. After Dr. Hanson examined me, he immediately recommended cauterization, which was done March 2, 2016. I have had no more nosebleeds, and am very grateful. I highly recommend him!!!!

Dr. Hanson's care provided was satisfactory, however, he only does procedures at a surgery center that he is part owner in. The amount that was billed to my insurance for a simple 5 minute procedure topped 25,000. This was significantly more than other respected ENT's in the area after I researched for a new ENT due to this hight cost billed. Since most insurance polices require that the patient pay 10-30% of the billed amount I found this to be excessive. To get my records I was quoted $50.
