Had a procedure done . Great results and a great team

While I wish I did not require Dr. Mills’ services, I am glad that he is my doctor. He explained my disease well and came up with an excellent treatment plan!

Dr. Anaya is a very good cardiologist he is my dads doctor and the best thing is that he can explain in details and make sure he understand he speaks Spanish and that’s awesome that my dad can understand him. Now I’m also his patient we are happy to have Dr.Anaya. He also have a friendly staff.

Dr Milay is my cardiologist and has a specialty in cardio-oncology which is rare in Kansas City. If you have had chemotherapy it is good to have your heart checked as that can have an adverse effect on heart health. She is kind, pleasant and incredibly up to date on cardio care post chemo. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Earlier this year had a stress test that come out just fine which was ordered by my regular Doctor. However four weeks ago I had an unexpected heart attack with 100% blockage. North Kansas City hospital ER acted quickly and Dr Allen along with other professionals at the ER saved my life. Two stents were placed. Eternally grateful. This comment is the least I can do.

I am so impressed with Dr. Anaya’s care of my mother that I felt compelled to tell others. He is extremely accessible, called me to update me on everything he was doing with my mother and advocated for her while she was in the hospital. His diagnosis and remedy were right on. He made her feel comfortable and was patient with her. His nurse, Tonya, and other staff members at Meritas Cardiology are also excellent. I can’t say enough positive about these two. Highly recommend.

I want to think Dr. Boerkircher for the outstanding care is he gave me while I was hospitalized for a cardiac condition this past week. He was calm, collected, personable, kind, and extremely professional.

Dr. Palmer is knowledgeable and explains things to my understanding. And she does something not many doctors do-she listens.

Dr. Palmer has worked diligently to guide me through a very difficult and stressful period in my life. Her outstanding knowledge coupled with her genuine concern for her patient and her extraordinary ability to communicate have made my life and my health so much better. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have her on my side.

I had a visit a year ago and was charged double the copay my United Healthcare plan mandated for a specialist's office visit. I had an appointment for an annual follow-up, and his online service informed me the fee would be the same. UHC specified HALF the amount being charged. I cancelled the appointment and am seeking another cardiologist. There is no excuse for a provider not honoring the terms of a patient's insurance plan!

My 21 year old daughter saw Dr. Hawa for chronic fainting and dizziness. He prescribed medication that only worker temporarily. From there he would only refer us to Mayo Clinic. No additional tests, even though we asked for it, he refused and only told us to go to Mayo because his office couldn't handle it. We ended up seeking an additional opinion through another practice and they were wonderful. Performed the test that we had asked for and received an appropriate diagnosis. She had surgery within 2 weeks and is now recovering nicely and will be able to lead a normal life again. Wish it was Dr. Hawa that could have done that for us.

DR. BAPOJE IS SO KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPLAINS EVERYTHING SO WELL. HE WILL ANSWER EVERY SINGLE QUESTION SO THAT I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND IT. HE IS PATIENT. I HAVE SUCH ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE IN HIM AND HIS EXPERTISE. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM WITHOUT RESERVATION

No. Ive been having chest pressure /pain . Dr drew keep pushing heart catheterization. My primary and hospital suggested a stress test ,it came out fine. As a follow up to what to do next to find the problem. But instead he gave NO follow up on what to do next . Gave no suggestion s no follow up visit . I was just blown off basically. Acts like he's mad my primary doctor had me do a stress test first before getting heart cath test. So its like let him deal with it than attitude from allen.Thanks !And his nurse cassandra is rude talks down to you, customer service skill is a Zero ! Very mouthy and rude ! So much for telling people to ask questions and do your own research, Really They the doctors dont like it. Looking for a new cardiologist . Plenty others out there .

Superb! When my husband was in the hospital with an unknown condition he developed atrial flutter. Dr. Rigden came to his room within the hour after having an EKG and explained what was happening. They decided to try medication to try to get the heart back into rhythm. Two days later Dr. Rigden and his nurse literally rolled him into the lab to do the procedure to shock his heart into rhythm. Fast forward 3 months to the follow up appt., Dr. Rigden sent my husband for a stress test and found he had some abnormalities so he scheduled him for a heart cath. He actually called my husband that night to give him the diagnosis himself! Talk about bedside manners!! The next night I ended up taking my husband to the ER due to chest pressure and on Sunday morning Dr. Rigden was at my husband's bedside at 6:00AM! Due to Dr. Rigden being pro-active and diligent my husband will be healthy for the rest of his life! We can't thank Dr. R enough and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND him for anyone!

Wonderful! My husband had to have open heart surgery and he was there everyday to explain what was happening and what to expect! He was never rushed and very caring!!!
