I had a similarly unpleasant experience with her. First of all, after being 30 mins late .... she was busy asking about my accent and why I still have it after living in the US for 16 years ( which just shows that she knows nothing about second language acquisition... ) She never examined my son other than looking at the pictures I showed her on my phone. How do you diagnose someone without examining them ?????? I wasn't able to ask enough questions and I wasn't pushy enough.... on the spot... but I went home and checked online and talked to many people ... and I am 100% sure she misdiagnosed my son. I am thinking about contacting her again... or just simply going to another specialist. It is not at all what I would expect from a SPECIALIST.

Our experience was unpleasant. The Dr did was very unorganized, apathetic, and unfortunately not as educated as I'd expect a specialist to be. She was completely unwilling to address the underlying issue. I am not sure if she was not listening or did not understand most of what I said. After discussing my concerns with her "Band-Aid" (& possible dependency) type of treatment plan, I didn't get much back. The only positive I have to add is that she at least referred us on to another specialist :/

Excellent doctor! Has taken care of my 12 year old daughter since she was two. Very nice and only has a smile for her. He has been the only doctor she voluntarily gave a hug to when she was little. He is straight-up and only has the best medical intentions for her.

My daughter and I loved Dr. Rosen. He was very kind and patient with her, he even stopped to discuss the her favorite subject in school for a while. She told her Dad that Dr. Rosen wasn't good...he was awesome.

When I took my daughter to see him I felt like he had already decided what was wrong just by reading her chart. He asked very few questions & only did a cursory exam. He talked down to me and acted annoyed. After the 1st visit he had us repeat miralax clean outs several times even though there was no improvement in my daughter's symptoms. It wasn't until a follow up a few months later with the NP, that she was diagnosed with delayed gastric emptying, not constipation as he had insisted.

I found him to talk down to me as a parent. Asking "why are you here" then inturpting while trying to explain. His interactions with both my son and I left little to be desired. I felt as though he was rushing through his questions and ready to get us out of his office.

This man has zero understanding or compassion when it comes to emotional needs of a sick scared child. His approach to comforting an upset 6 year old girl is to tell her that if she CA nt stop crying long enough for him to talk then she will "just have to have a great big scar down the middle of her stomach." He is beyound arrogant, rude, and a delightful mix of a god complex and little man syndrome.

In my 15 years as a nurse I have never interacted with a more caring, compassionate, knowledgable, and patient physician. He made my 14 year-old autistic son feel at ease and explained everything in simple terms that he could understand. I would highly recommend Dr. Rosen.

Dr Rosen was great! He spent between 30-45 minutes speaking to us and actively listening to us in our room. He was very good with our son, he's a little shy at first. Most doctors are in a hurry, he never acted that way. From the first phone call with Mercy to meeting the doctor we received friendly help.
