An exceptional provider! I am an RN & she is highly recommended among my peers. I had fabulous prenatal care w/ just the right amount of advice, education, humor, & compassion. I was so bummed when I went into labor on a Saturday knowing that she was just on call the weekend prior & not likely to be my delivering MD. I showed up at the hospital & started crying tears of joy when she came around the curtain & I realized she was working. She’d randomly swapped weekends w/ another MD & as a result ended up working as on-call, 2 weekends in a row. I honestly could not have had a better birth experience. She stayed w/ me almost the entire time...laboring, massage, delivery, & aftercare. I understand not all birth stories are free of stress, worry, or complication, however, know whatever your experience, you'll be under the care of a skilled & caring provider. OB or regular GYN care, I highly recommend her. Ignore the 1 negative review, it’s not accurate & seems extreme (shaming??? yikes)

She did my hysterectomy and was fabulous. Kept me informed the whole time, very professional and personable.

I love her! She made me feel so comfortable with an unsettling diagnosis. She was there for me and REALLY listened to what I had to say before and particularly after surgery.

She has no empathy and no patience, she'll rush you through things and of you ask questions she would give you short answer. She comes across as passive aggressive.

Insincere and horrible bedside manner.

Honest and compassionate. I found her very helpful. She answered all of my questions and took the time to fully explain my diagnosis as well as a solution. It felt really great to be seen by a doctor I could relate to. First time I’ve experienced that in my 27 years. I found comfort in that. She’s a queen!

Found Dr. Hawes-Van Pelt to be more discouraging then encouraging during my labor and delivery. It was distracting and frustrating as I was pushing and progressing that she decided to let the next on call doctor take over. I delivered shortly after. Baby was transferred to Children’s due to complications. Confided in her that I’m struggling in many ways with the seperation. She dismissed it and compared it to her experience sending her newborn to the nursery so she could nap. Shame on you.

I went to Dr. Harris after experiencing debilitating dysmenorrhea. Dr. Harris told me I either go on birth control or take NSAIDS and deal with it. I left in tears. Her "council" literally stopped me from seeing another Dr for a year. I saw a 2nd opinion this yr, immediately was schedule for surgery, requested my records from Dr. Harris. I am utterly disgusted to see in her notes she saw polyps and unusually thickening (not disclosed to me). She is lazy and birth control the only option? a joke

Dr. Gibeau is either hot or cold. Her approach and demeanor has been inconsistent with multiple visits with her. I have had great care where she is compassionate, listens and gives good advice. At other times she is abrupt and doesn't listen. As a patient this makes me uncomfortable as I don't know what to expect or the level of care I will receive.

Dr. Gibeau performed an emergency c-section on me when my child and I were both in distress. She explained everything to and the urgency of the situation with great patience. She also left such a clean scar that I can barely see it 2 years later.

My experience during an encounter with Dr. Gibeau was less than acceptable during the antepartum period of my pregnancy. Found her to have an ego with poor bedside manner. Quite opinionated. Made brash recommendations without so much as running proper tests or taking the time to discuss the situation or getting know me as a patient. Was not at the top of her game.

I have been seeing Dr. Gibeau for many years. Dr. Gibeau has a great bedside manner and takes time to really listen to me. She is an experienced professional and I would recommend her to any woman in any age group.

She has great kind of helping tendency and of course she helped me a lot during my visit to Doc's office n also through MyChart mails.She is such a awesome doctor.

Awesome. Normally a 90% success rate with her surgery, my sling surgery was 99% as far as I am concerned. LOVE her!!
