Dr. Kevin Lavery is the only one that I trust with my eyes. He is the best. I pray for him all the time. He says I will need will need surgery to remove cateracts from my eyes ??. I trust him and no one else. Like I said, he's the best.

Dr. Simpson has always been straight forward with me about my vision. He has offered various options and allowed me to make the choice, and supports that decision. He has been truthful about what is coming in the future and how we can be prepared to handle it. I am very glad I was able to find a doctor whom I understand, as he speaks to me in everyday language, and trust with my vision.

Dr Rhem is outstanding. He took his time to explain procedures and options thoroughly and offered his personal thoughts on my individual situation. He also gave me plenty of time to ask questions - never did I feel rushed during my appt time with him. I would have no hesitations in recommending Dr Rhem to anyone.

Dr Rhem did my LASIK surgery in 2004, he did my mother's cataract surgery, and my father's cataract surgery. He is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. His care is excellent, his bedside manner is excellent, he explains everything clearly, answers all questions, and has excellent surgical outcomes. I highly recommend Dr Rhem.

This is first time I have ever walked out of a medical appointment. Perhaps I was spoiled by my previous eye doctor who passed away and was so friendly and caring.
Getting measurements taken at this practice was more like a physical in the Army (or perhaps the Marines); do this, do that, don't blink. Very efficient but like an assembly line. Also, I didn't fit the paradigm of a typical patient so the technician started giving me a hard time. So I gave him a hard time back and left.

I am very unhappy with my cataract surgery results. In the presurgery meeting with Dr. Simpson I indicated that I would not be happy if I lost my close vision. I now cannot see close up or far away without glasses! I am not a person that "gets use to it". I am over 70 years old and do not look forward to being "blind" for the next 20 years.

Dr. Rhem was incredible. Extremely honest about the risks and potential outcomes of my procedure and took the time to make me feel comfortable. As PRK is an elective procedure to improve vision, I was initially nervous about doing it. I am very thankful that I did. I experienced discomfort fairly standerd to the procedure (which I was warned about), but the results are phenomenal and I always felt supported by Dr. Rhem and his staff.

Dr. Simpson has the best bedside manner and allows you to vent your true frustration with your eye conditions while simultaneously offering cutting edge care and no nonsense explanations, in laymen's terms or medical terms, whichever you need. He is very thorough in how he delivers the bad news and celebrates the victories in the good news. I have several eye diseases. I'm having surgery with Dr. Simpson tomorrow morning, I wouldn't feel more confident with another surgeon. He's a godsend!
