I trusted Dr. Anderson implicitly until he missed that the vitreous had abruptly pulled away from my retina creating a macular hole. Speed was critical after I reported a blinding light show then presented with classic symptoms; I should have been rushed to a retinal specialist for surgery. I went to him twice for help: he became abrupt and dismissive when I questioned his statement that my vision loss was due to makeup on my contacts. I'm in my 50s and living with permanent retinal damage.
