My wife and I have been Dr. Gray's patients for over 20 years. I had multiple doctors before that and I have seen few others when Dr. Gray was not available on a short notice. By far, she is the best one. I sometimes panic when I get some symptoms of different kinds; after checking me out, she takes the time to explain why my hypotheses were not valid. From her explanations I learned a lot. Dr. Gray is very caring and passionate about helping me and my wife live a healthy life. I always feel that she puts patients' interest ahead of any one including insurance and drug industry. In short, I will never stop seeing Dr. Gray and I would strongly recommend her.

Dr. Straka is very dangerous! He is not a St. Joe Doctor, so he actually has no privilege's at St. Joe. He never follow through on anything. His referrals are horrible, when I have tests run, St. Joe will tell you 1 thing, HE will tell you another. I now have permanent health issues thanks to him. St. Joe's is horrible too. Neither his office, or St. Joe's know how to do a "clean catch" urine sample, thus all my samples are CONTAMINATED due to this. It doesn't seem to bother him that I'm in Kidney Failure! His staff is rude and uncaring. I prefer to go to my local veterinarian, he's more knowledgeable than Straka! Stay away of you want to live!

I've been a patient of Dr Oberdoerster for nearly 30 years. He is the best I've ever had. I've has myriad illnesses over the years and he has always diagnosed them quickly and correctly and is quick to refer me to specialist when necessary. His philosophy on prescriptions mirrors mine... whatever it takes, no more, no less.

Potentially lethally incompetent. Dismissive of life threatening injuries and lacks the basic knowledge of medical specialties when referring. Actually referred me to a specialist who didn’t handle the type of injury, but who did refer me to the correct specialist, and because of this, Dr. Straka actually had the guts to call me and say he’s “tired of patients using secondary referrals” because I had to recontact him to get him to rewrite the referral from his office in order to get the insurance company to pay, but by that time the injury, which was a time sensitive injury, had become permanent.

Received a return call from this physician, as she was the MD on call for the PIIM group. Aa the POA of my 80 year old Father and a nurse for 30 years, I explained that my Father has body aches and temp of 100.4 and went for COVID testing but they were not tested for influenza. Requested tamiflu as it indicated in elderly patients with symptoms of the flu within 48 hours of onset. She refused. Stated “it is not the standard of care for COVID.” I stated that I was not asking it for the treatment of COVID rather, as the standard of care for the flu and his symptoms were consistent She told me to take my Dad to the ER even though he was in no distress and admitted she didn’t have access to his chart. I wonder Dr. Gray, if this is how you would choose to care for your loved ones? There are many Physicians out there... do not settle for this kind of a Physician who expresses absolutely zero compassion. She is Very arrogant and rude.

Misdiagnosed my wife as menopause and sent her home and told her to take some Tums. That was in Sept. 2019. Ended up as Stage 4 Lung Cancer in Jan 2020. Lost some precious time in treating the cancer. All she needed to do was to have a chest X-ray. It was pretty obvious in the X-ray.

I agree. Her too close-mindedness to see beyond her own arrogant ego serves only herself. Any patient being treated by a doctor with such attitude will suffer under their self servitude.

After years (decades?) of ok primacy care physicians, with Dr. Shore I finally have someone I really consider to be a great doctor and even family doctor (our entire adult family is moving to her as our PCP). She's smart, she listens, and in my case she noticed some things that may have literally saved my life that others missed. She does a fantastic job of explaining why she's doing and ordered what she does, and keeps me informed by her office portal msg system of things that I need to be aware of. I'm in the middle of a significant medical event, and having a PCP who you really believe is looking out for you is incredibly important at such a point in your life. She makes me realize how not having such a doctor in your life over much of my previous life was an enormous deficit and how our current system of PCPs and specialists is supposed to work when it works well, and how often it doesn't.

Very quick, rude, and talks down to patients. I've visited for annual physicals twice. Each time she looked at different things and I have never had a "full" physical. I think she just picks things to look at. What is worse is her bedside manner. She tells you information about your health in a judgmental tone. The office is old and outdated and the scheduling staff are rude. At least the nurse was nice. Avoid!

Peter Paul repeatedly refused to send a family member to a specialist for an injury when it wasn't getting better (over a matter of months) using the treatments he suggested. We couldn't figure it out -- we assumed it was because he was in the role of being an HMO gatekeeper -- but never knew for sure exactly why a referral was such a problem for him for a patient who wasn't getting better. When we called about this, he wouldn't speak to us directly, but had us talk to the nurse who explained that a specialist might be inclined to prescribe strong meds (this seemed a stretch of an excuse and no meds have ever been prescribed by a specialist). We left his practice, and the new physician we found immediately recommended a specialist would did the necessary scans and gave us, at long last, the diagnosis needed to determine an appropriate treatment plan.
