Review of Dr. Sotos

- |

My strong opinions are as follows: “If your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail” I felt that Sotos was closed minded and thought that suppression therapy was the only answer for my mother. He wasn’t at all interested in the cause of my mother’s illness and dismissed complementary treatment and nutrition. Mom experienced Methotrexate toxicity which nearly killed her and she suffered terribly for weeks, unable to swallow solid food. After that, we feel that the 3rd course of Rituxan destroyed her liver. Sotos never bothered to walk 200 yards from his office to the hospital to visit my mother who had been his patient for 5 years, except on one occasion where he happened to be on call during one of Mom's many hospital stays. I'll never understand why my mother was loyal to him but if it had been my decision I would have switched doctors after the first six months. If you're looking for someone who will leave no stone unturned, this is not the doctor for you.

Review of Dr. Sotos

-

I have been a patient of Dr. Sotos for almost 10 years. He has worked with me to treat and manage a somewhat uncommon blood/immune disorder.. I am one to ask many questions, and want to understand exactly what is going on and be part of my treatment decisions.. We have an excellent doctor patient relationship, and he works WITH me to manage my treatment which is very important. . I consider him to be honest and down to earth, and I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Sotos as my doctor.

Review of Dr. Sotos

-Potomac, MD |

My care was sub standard at best. As a stage 4 colon patient, I should have received tests every 3 months for CEA, a Pet scan every 6 months. By the time I found out that the 12 rounds of chemo was ineffective, I had lost valuable time and had little (none) data. The practice also gives shots of Neulasta for every patient after chemo treatment. This was contra indicated for me at my young age. Now I am in a situation of spread cancer to lymph nodes, tumor growth not monitored at all by Dr Sotos.

Review of Dr. Wallmark

- in Chevy Chase, MD |

I am in treatment with Dr. Wallmark for breast cancer. I would recommend Dr. Wallmark very highly. He is smart, patient, never rushed, a good listener, and very reassuring. For my first appointment after diagnosis, he kept the office open late to see me. He stays abreast of all the latest research on treatments, knowing from memory the details of scientific studies I have asked him about. He is also honest while being encouraging without sugar-coating. Highly recommended!

Review of Dr. Agrawal

- in Ashburn, VA |

Dr. Manish Agrawal treated me in 2011 and I remain in remission. Thanks to his treatment of a very rare type of lymphoma, I am thriving today. Dr. Agrawal is a caring, thorough, meticulous and overall outstanding oncologist-hematologist who provides the best treatment for his patients.

Review of Dr. Agrawal

- in Gaithersburg, MD |

the first visit made me and my family really comfortable and confident to go with him, but afterwards experience got worse and worse. I felt he wasn't open up and didn't tell me the true info about the illness. I felt very disappointed with him even he had high rating online and good feedback from family friends.
