Let me start by saying Dr Adams is wonderful! Dr Leuchen is also good. But the issue w this practice is the nursing and administrative staff. I came in for the second in my Shingrix vaccine series. After waiting nearly an hour, the door to the crowded waiting room opened and the nurse yelled “SHINGLES VACCINE!” Nothing like a little HIPAA violation on top of an hour wait. I’m just glad I wasn’t there for genital warts! Ha! Seriously, where is the training? How do they not know that this behavior is unacceptable? When I got inside, the nurse failed to advise me of the possible side effects, which knocked me down for a full day after the shot. I had no idea, as I hadn’t had a reaction to the first in the series. The nurse asked if I had a reaction to the first shot, no more. For both my yearly physical exams, the Dx orders Cologuard. Both times no one from the nursing staff follows up and the box never arrives. These dxs are quite good, but their staff could use an overhaul.

Dr. Knight is a nice guy, but doesn't inspire a lot of confidence that he knows what he's doing. Every time I have been to see him, I have told him about symptoms I am experiencing, and almost every time, his response is "Hmm. That's weird" (direct quote), but no attempt to figure out what might be going on with me, let alone suggest any solutions. No, I take that back--I explained to him how I have developed an intolerance to drinking alcohol, and his response was, "Maybe you should stop drinking alcohol." Yep, I'd already thought of that one. The last time I had a checkup, he left the exam room in the middle of a discussion because he got a phone call from his auto mechanic. Finally, in the middle of a pandemic, neither he nor anyone else working in his office was wearing a mask or enforcing social distancing guidelines. That's not what you want to see from a health professional. Luckily, he didn't ask me to remove my mask during my checkup, or I would've walked out.

Dr. Knight has always been a great bedside manner Dr and family support but the "buck stops here" as he delegates the safety of his patients and staff to the whimsical decisions of a less than competent Office Manager who allows staff to interact between themselves and with patients repeatedly without proper social distancing and protective PPE even if there may be a patient with a compromised immune system, even with a request to wear a mask when speaking to a patient to only hear a response that during a pandemic and in contravention of CDC Guidelines the Office Manager states, "it is a personal choice". My reply, "not in a medical office".

I had the Flu and had an appointment with the PA. She did not do a thorough exam, forgot to conduct a test and did not communicate effectively. She did not heed my request for liquid prescription medicine and sent an incorrect prescription to the pharmacy. Once I realized this, I called the office and the front desk staff name Dana also refused to allow me to speak with the provider directly and they refused to correct the issue and help me. I’ve been left to suffer with a horrible cough as a result of their refusal. I will never visit the office again.

Sadly we live in an environment where healthcare has become more about corporate America, profits, and turnaround times. Roy is a rare healthcare provider who takes his commitment to his patients with a truly holistic approach. Taking the time to listen and approach treatment for what is in his patient's best interests are always his top priorities and is reflected in the time he takes with each patient. If you want a healthcare provider who is not a minion of corporate healthcare, sees you as a person rather than a number and whose first concern is your well being then you have found this person in Roy.

Roy and his team are very approachable. My visits with are never rushed. He takes the time to get to know me and answer my questions. In this day if rush rush rush, Plumtree Family Health is a welcomed change. Thre office is clean and well run. I have and will continue to refer both my family. Friends and colleagues.

I have been a patient of his for over 20 years. He is always available in a reasonable amount of time to see me. He explains things thoroughly and always addresses any concerns I have in a welcoming and caring manner. His staff is also caring and professional. I trust him totally and explicitly with all my healthcare concerns.

I love Dr. Lindsey, I think my main issue with her practice is that her office staff are very frustrating to work with and there is often little to no follow-up. For one example, it took me nearly two months just to get them to send my University Athletic Trainers my bloodwork, and I then found out that I was told by someone at Plumtree that my bloodwork came back normal when my team doctor said that I had several issues, specifically ones that motivated the bloodwork. Miscommunication perhaps.

A fine doctor who really is caring and a great guy. I trust his judgment. Another plus is always a short wait time of about 15 minutes or so. Great at explaining any issues.

I couldn't ask for a better doctor. Dr. Knight is compassionate. Really takes the time to listen to concerns. He is honest and straight forward! He is clear when giving advice/direction. You do not feel rushed when with him.

I can not say enough great things about Lindsey. When I talk to her, I feel like I am catching up (only medically) with a friend. She has a very interesting background prior to family practice which I think gives her a very well rounded approach to treatment.

Dana Overarce is a dynamic PA She brings forth a wealth of knowledge. She is truly for the well being of the patient. I know and experience her impeccable bed side manner. When you decide to put your health first. She is rated number one. I personally would change physicians if my insurance would allow. I would highly recommend Ms. Overarce Pa.

Dr. Knight is an amazingly helpful doctor who actually listens! I don't feel as though I am being rushed through my appointment. He is very resourceful in personally knowing a lot of the specialists in the area. I feel comfortable with him watching over my health!
