Review of Dr. Ricaurte

- in NY |

Don’t travel out of state expecting Dr. Ricaurte to be any more knowledgeable or put forth any more effort than your local neurologist. He is also patronizing.

Review of Dr. Kaplan

-Easton, MD |

First time I saw Dr. Kaplan, I brought detailed descriptions of my seizure activity. We talked for a few minutes and he sent me off with a third medication in addition to the 2 I'd been taking. I came back a few months later, having had a huge increase in seizure activity. He asked me almost no questions and barely looked at me while I had a small seizure in his office. He asked for blood test results, which I didn't have because his office had never sent in the order, and sent me on my way.

Review of Dr. Kaplan

-Havre De Grace, MD |

Dr. Kaplan was quick to lean to a possible diagnosis. I didn't feel as though I was taken serious enough NOR was I offered a return visit. He offered and I did get an EEG done but sadly I feel as though that was a "protocol" thing to do. He told me a diagnosis can't be made on a singular appointment or EEG than why did I have an EEG done in his office! I was so blindsided by the visit I am still processing the information. I have PTSD and it took me awhile to process this sadly. BOO!

Review of Dr. Peterlin II

- in Columbia, MD |

Dr. Peterlin is one of the most caring, highly skilled, and patient-centered physicians I have ever known. Like me, many of my friends and relatives have been treated as a disease or a condition, rather than a feeling, sometimes frightened human being. Severe migraines have compromised my life for years, but because of Dr Peterlin's care, expertise, and persistence, I have never lost hope. I am feeling better now; I will always be grateful to Dr Peterlin for any and all progress I have made.

Review of Dr. Oakley

- in Denver, PA |

Dr. Oakley has been thoroughly fantastic in working with my 17 year old who has battled migraines for years. From the first appointment where he spent over an hour and a half with us discussing what we've done, what can be done and how to go forward to his guiding the inpatient process of pain meds and DHE protocol, which ultimately did not work. His determination to make sense of it all seems to be leading us down the road to recovery so far. We are very thankful for his passion and knowledge.

Review of Dr. Oakley

- in Baltimore, MD |

Dr. Oakley did not like to be questioned. He was very defensive and lacked any concern for really trying to heal my son's chronic migraines. He kept referring me to a packet to read. He did not show any apathy nor did he try to move the appointment in a positive manner. I do not recommend this doctor.

Review of Dr. Mammen

- in Baltimore, MD |

Dr. Mammen is a wonderful combination of brilliant and compassionate, and treats the ENTIRE patient - not just the problem area which brought you to him, but ties it into the patient's general health. People come from all over the country for his opinion - worth waiting a short while in the waiting room - so concerned about the patient's entire health picture.
