Dr. Jackson conducted a GI related test at 7:30am in the morning for my mom who had been in the hospital (AAMC) for almost a week without clear indication of what was wrong.... despite several calls to her office from me, other family members, nurses from AAMC (Anne Arundel Medical Center) and one surgeon, Dr. Jackson never responded or reported as the GI Consult to discuss her findings. She didn't respond the day of the test nor did she follow up at all; it's now a week later. All in all Anne Arundel Gastroenterology Associates, P.A; Dr Jackson's practice on Bestgate Rd in Annapolis MD - the medical practice who also, by choice, consults for AAMC, has been an enormous disapointment. I and other family members and friends will no longer be under the care of Anne Arundel Gastroenterology.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This doctor Jackson was the on call physician for my gastroenterologist (her colleague). I called after hours because I was experiencing an acute change in my condition, and my medication was at the end of its supply. I called her, not knowing what (if anything) she would be authorized to do after hours, but I needed to try to speak to someone. I was exceedingly polite in asking for assistance and she curtly said there was nothing she could do and rushed me off the phone/borderline hung up. I attempted to call the main answering service afterwards, and mistakenly redialed her number. I apologized again for the inconvenience, and asked if there was a way to page or even email my regular physician as I was in distress and hadn’t been able to get in contact. She rudely told me to go to the ER and then again HUNG UP ON ME. I don’t know how someone so rude and disrespectful can be left in charge of *anything* much less anyone’s health. Avoid this woman

Great bedside manner. Friendly, but most of all experienced and knowledgeable. I had three colonoscopies done and she has done them all. I always ask for Dr. Jackson.

I followed the prep instructions. Had not followed the 5 day before procedure because I booked 4 days before and wasn't told to read instructions right away. I eat a very high fiber diet. I called them and told them I hadn't followed instructions. They said it would be OK. For a miralax prep they only gave my half of the necessary dosage. So the colonoscopy couldn't be done because the prep was wrong. Not happy. Not going back. Sat in the waiting room forever; these days I's rather be outside. Horrible experience. Not recommended.

awful, did a colonoscopy and endoscopy. even though there was things written on reports, he would only say within normal. would not take information about my previous condition that would have changed how he should have been treating me

He has a great staff and when talking to him he makes his point and recommendations and get the job done. I am not a fan of going to the doctors but he has made the visits kinda nice.

Dr. Jackson performed my first colonoscopy. She was knowledgeable, kind, and efficient! We are working on trying to figure out my GI problems, and she has many ideas and suggestions. She has given me hope!

Dr. Jackson is an excellent physician and diagnostian--which is important when treating digestive issues. In my experience, Dr. Jackson gets things right that other doctors get wrong...

He was very detailed explaining why I was having the issues that I do. And did multiple tests to eliminate things that I didn't have.

Dr, Jackson was very nice and made me comfortable concerning the appointment.

I have gastro-intestinal issues and colon cancer runs in my family. I found Dr. Dykman very knowledgeable, professional, and he explains what is going on and what I need to do... although you can tell he is on a schedule... so no dallying. I trust him. What more can I say? He also has an office on Kent Island and in Annapolis, which makes it very convenient for me (being from the Eastern Shore). Staff is fine, office is fine. No issues at all.

He misdiagnosed me completely. After my visit, I decided to see other professionals because I didn’t feel right with Dr Dykman and our interaction. I had to get emergency surgery within a month. He should not be in this field. Very rude and doesn’t have a single care for his patients.

Dr. Jackson was wonderful! Very easy to talk to and very, I have referred several people to her!

He made what could be an uncomfortable situation very easy to get through. He also listened to my concerns and gave me helpful feedback.

I was extremely nervous about my procedure. Dr. Jackson was sweet, humorous and professional all at the same time. She had me laughing as soon as I was in the room and it eased my anxiety tremendously! I would definitely recommend Dr. Jackson!
