One visit was enough. If you have anything more than the common cold find a new doctor. She was very rude and unprofessional?.
Highly recommend her. She is very caring and thorough. However, because she is it is hard to get an appt. some times and always has a long wait time. Worth it because she is very good.
Terrible doctor. I am taking Accutane, which my trusty dermatologist of 3 years prescribed to me, and on my 2nd visit with her when I asked her a simple question about it, she scoffed and said snootily, "I wouldn't know. That is not a medication I prescribe." She became extremely irritable when I came in with a sore throat and told her I was allergic to penicillin. She relies heavily on the computer to look up medications for simple illnesses. Not very personable (if that is important to you.)
The worst I've ever experienced at Valley Medical Group. Dr. Esrick got defensive when I asked questions and resorted to her scripted and generic points about exercise and vaccinations. She did not appear knowledgable about anything I was experiencing. I do not recommend her.
Patient profiling, unable to connect the dots, blames patient instead of determining root underlying cause. Very poor bed side manners. Suffers from "god complex". Unable to control his temper. If you value your health, mental sanity and/or your self respect and dignity don't allow this Doctor to practice his quackery on you.
One of the best specialists I've ever seen. He explained things clearly and thoroughly and I never had the feeling I was being 'rushed out the door'.
I was a patient of Dr. Feinland and due to Insurance bills am unable to see him at this time, however, I am looking forward to returning to his care. Dr. Feinland is a great Dr I have been a pt of his since my doctor that I had been seeing since I was a child left Valley medical about 8 yrs ago. I had met so many doctors during the transition and did not click with any of them, when I met Dr. Feinland, he entered the room with a joke, as he continues to do.... and made me laugh and I've been
I saw Dr. Erskine for a painful problem. He ordered an x-ray that day, saying that he'd call me that afternoon or next day. I never heard from him. I called his office a week later and was told he was on vacation. I left a message saying I wanted to hear about the results of the x-ray. No response. Then more than a month later a nurse called saying that he wanted me to come in to discuss treatment. By that time, I'd moved on to a more attentive doctor.
Thorough, competent and kind. Higher rating is not high enough.
This was my first appointment with Dr. Depiero; I found her personable. She asked appropriate questions, reviewed my file, took the time to explain her diagnosis, and then asked me twice if I had any further questions. I felt quite comfortable with her and look forward to having her as my doctor within the practice.
Liz Cory; very professional, caring and wants to help you get well.
I have never had a problem with Dr E. He listens and is a very nice person. Always has a smile.
I saw Dr Feinland on an emergency basis on a Sunday. I found him smart, caring, and willing to do extra work to figure out what was going on with me.
My intake conversation indicated concern with previous aggressive treatment,
by another practitioner, on my diabetic neuropathic feet, including a recent toe-amputation.
This concern was apparently ignored, based on use of scalpels, drawing blood, and which continued bleeding and showed signs of infection under the callous, until I sought help
in another venue. I feel my warning about foot sensitivity was ignored, and no treatment was
offered allowing for the potential serious consequence.
I'm impressed with Dr. Brown's professional manner, such as the time he spent on my first visit and his interest and patience in listening to my account of my health issues. I respect and agree with his assessment, recommendations, and plan of treatment. i''m looking forward to a good working relationship with him that will benefit my health condition.
I was in the middle of asking a question when she said that's all the time she had for me. I left my first visit in tears.
I was referred by my PCP to Spitzer for thyroid issues. I waited months for the appointment and it was a waste of time. He is not knowledgeable, only tests TSH, ignored my list of symptoms. He ran a few labs that I demanded but he did not know what to do with the results. He adjusted meds and I landed in the ER within a week and went back to my old dose myself and waited several more months to get into to see someone else.
Awesome! Genuine concern, goes above and beyond to take time and answer any questions and concerns. Total trust in him. Gives the time you need, even if he is running behind and you are late waiting to see him. I waited over 45 minutes but, he still thru lunch gave me his time I needed. He has motivated me and I look forward to my next visit. #drspitzer,
Dr Spitzer did listen and writes notes on the laptop as I spoke. He reviewed his impressions and allowed me to comment with corrections. He outlined an approach that involved me in the health process. Endocrinology is about observation, testing, and determining from what I tell him, to tie in the relevant symptoms with a biological cause. It is not a simple take this pill and call me in two weeks. I did not arrive at my condition overnight, I prepared to work with him to correct what can be done
I felt like he wasn't listening to any of my concerns or symptoms, almost like he wasn't believing me...
Dr. Spitzer is pessimistic. He doesn't seem to have faith in his patients. He tends to spend most of his time looking at the laptop instead of the patient sitting next to him. There is always a long wait. I've given this office a fair chance. Pickings are small in this area, but I will be going elsewhere from now on.
He lacks empathy and interest his patents. ANd it took more than six months to schedule a physical.
Dr Spitzer has been generally helpful-but a bit faddish-he needs to Chill a little-maybe age and experience will improve upon this-secondary reccommendations-not helpful at all !
Doesn't have input on much. Seems to rush through apt and not really listen to your concerns. He's very nice and friendly but when I told him my daughter had hard time passing gas he told me to just look stuff up online....
Personable and knowledgeable. He listens carefully, explains clearly and has respect for his patients. A pleasure to interact with and he PAYS ATTENTION. I look forward to our next encounter.
Smart, caring and looks at the whole picture. I feel very fortunate to have her for our family Dr.
Great doctor, cares about his patients and has great communication skills
office is pleasant, but this doctor is cold and insincere. I felt uncomfortable with her aloof, dismissive behavior
Thorough and caring
John Polgar is a diagnostic PA rather than a doctor.
He seems in no rush during appointments and listens very carefully and with attention to symptoms. He has come up with appropriate strategies to deal with most likely diagnosis while remaining open-minded about other possibilities. He is very prompt in referring to a suitable specialist when required.
What a doctor should be: compassionate, interested, patient, skillful (gave as painless a shot as possible), and truly an excellent doctor.
attentive, knowledgeable, informative made me feel really comfortable
can't say enough , super md
Doesn't listen. Misdiagnosed twice. Peculiar affect. Made me very uncomfortable.
Very thorough doctor and easy to talk to. Great person to have on your side through a tough medical condition. She keeps up with information from other doctors and gets you what you need quickly. I literally went from checking a mass to a diagnosis of cancer through surgical biopsy in the hospital within 3 days of my initial visit. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Iverson is an excellent doctor. However, she often runs over during her appointments. This means that you should be prepared to see her 45 min. to an hour after your scheduled appointment.
I've been with him for 4+ years, the most intelligent Dr. I've ever dealt with. He's very personable and knowledgeable on all health issues and will explain/answer any questions you may have without talking "at" you as if your stupid. I used to live five minutes away from his office, now I'm an hour away and wouldn't think about changing physicians even if I were further. His compassion for people is real and I've seen him go above and beyond to help someone I love. He's a great man!
She's a wonderful doctor--really listens and cares. Good diagnostician. Sometimes the wait is long, but it's because she's giving great care to the previous patient; she's worth waiting for.
I have degenerative disease and seven herniated discs. Diane has been helping me with keeping my core strong. Threw my work with her, I am able to have a very active life.
I went about two specific problems. She gave me some vague possible diagnoses and advised me to go to PT. The people she recommended within the same network (Baystate) were all over the place and not helpful. I went back to Dr Futrell and she and her trainer were somewhat curt (I felt I had to be overly nice) but gave me a regimen to follow on my own which was what I wanted. When I got home I saw it contained an impossible to follow return to run regimen and exercises from a "Crossfit Guru".
The office is very busy, but Emily is very knowledgable, very compassionate, and really puts her patients' interests at the forefront of her decision making. She listens to what people need and works with them. Keeps up-to-date on the latest research. Queer-friendly, too.
Dr. Futrell helped me deal with my swollen knee due to a torn meniscus. She explained to me in an easy to understand manner my situation/condition, my options and what activities I should be wary of. Dr. Futrell drained excess fluid from my knee which alleviated my pain considerably. I would highly recommend Dr,Futrell.
Dr Gump took my case and is working hard to find some answers for me.
Professional and caring. Took time to explain and listen to my concerns. I felt her assessment and treatment plan was helpful. Has had a nurse follow up by phone on 2 occasions.
