Review of Dr. Wixted

- in Boston, AZ |

I was hit hard by a car while walking in May of 2018, and Dr. Wixted was the trauma surgeon who caught my case in the Beth Israel emergency room. I had multiple injuries, and the care I received was extraordinary. Dr. Wixted evaluated my fractured knee, and possible injuries to the rest of me, and he was calm, professional, and I felt in very good hands. In the ER, and in follow-up, he gave me his full attention, and at every decision point he included me fully, listened, and cared.

Review of Dr. Wixted

- in MA |

I dislocated and fractured my arm and shoulder in multiple places 2 years ago in a mountain biking accident. Dr. Wixted performed the emergency surgery and did a phenomenal job, utilizing a metal plate and 8 screws to give me a functioning shoulder joint again. I am a physical therapist and understand how much work and skill it took for such a good outcome. In addition to his surgical skill he is easy to talk to and very responsive. I feel extremely fortunate that he was my surgeon.

Review of Dr. Leclair

- in South Hadley, MA |

I had fallen and drove my left shoulder socket into my chest. Socket broke into about 6 pieces. Luckily the ball was intact. It took weeks to find someone able and willing to work on my shoulder. It was a mess. After almost 7 hours of surgery and a tuff night I was able to go home late the next day. After coming for a follow up visit 2 weeks later. I had the staples removed but my are was stiff. At this point he told me I would be considered 100% disabled. But I'm not and working 95%+++

Review of Dr. Shelton

-MA |

We recently saw Dr. Shelton for my son's leg pain. She was good at the initial appointment and determining a plan for testing to rule things out. I was disappointed in her bedside manner and follow up after my son's testing. She was quick to explain medical terms, potential causes and provided a poor follow up plan. It was frustrating to wait several weeks for testing and appointments, and now we have to start over with a second opinion.

Review of Dr. Wixted

-Worcester, MA |

Very rude and condescending! Told my son he'll have to live with his patella alta...referred us to Sports medicine. I do not recommend this doctor especially if you are transgender. We feel as though he discriminated against my son for this reason???????? Shame on him!

Review of Dr. Mortimer

-Gilmanton, NH |

Dr. Mortimer was excellent with teen-age son. He took time to explain to him in language he could understand and reassured him that he would be fine. I think he's terrific.

Review of Dr. Mortimer

-Worcester, MA |

I had a dislocated hip because of my cerebral palsy, and Dr. Mortimer claimed he could fix it, only to make the matte worse. Instead of placing the ball and socket together, he placed the ball and socket next to each other and screwing them together. After the surgery, he then claimed he could fix it again, only to make the matter even worse. After 2 painful surgeries my left leg is 5 inches shorter than my right leg and my left hip is only getting worse as the years go by.

Review of Dr. Shelton

- in Pepperell MA |

We have been under Dr. Sheltons care since my son was 6 months old. We adopted my son after he was shaken suffering 47 broken bones. He has many surgerys (7 spinal fusions to his neck) If it wasn't for her wonderful care he would not be with us today. He is now 21 and still receiving the best care. Thank you Dr. Shelton??

Review of Dr. Shelton

- in Central Mass |

Doctor would not call us back with MRI results. I had to call twice and got an attitude from both the receptionist and the doctor. Dr. Shelton gave me the results - No rotator cuff tear. Okay, but that still doesn't explain the problem my son was having. She dismissed us and my son is still having pain and his shoulder is popping out of place. Time to find a new doctor!
