Poor bedside manners and the office environment seems off. The staff was rather rude as well. The doctor did not do the due diligence to read my file before talking with me and made me get the same blood panel work done that I had already completed a month ago (costing me $300). Glad I was able to switch to another OB.

I have been her patient for over 30 years and have been very lucky to have her as my doctor. She has been nothing but outstanding. I see her every 6 months and always am satisfied with her services. I don't understand all these negative comments here.

Dr. Harrington has been a wonderful doctor to me over the years. I respect her so much my parents now go to her also. She can be matter of fact, but I like that so I know what she is thinking or has ruled out. She has a great sense of humor, is very knowledgeable, and really cares about her patients. My parents speak highly of her also. Fantastic doctor.

If you are seeking a PCP who is caringand attentive do NOT seek the office of Dr Renee Jacobs, Needham. Dr. Jacobs and her staff are rude and incompetent. She finds it beneath her to communicate with a patient via phone and fails to answer emails. Upon my last and final visit to her, Dr. Jacobs stated that if you want a Dr. to review test results to you on a one to one basis you should seek a concierge physician which I did. After, being a patient of hers along with my four family members I feel

She was my husband’s internist for over 20 years when she failed to diagnose Him with colorectal cancer. He died as a result of her inadequate treatment He was 54 years old in 2011. She should not be practicing medicine.

Dr. Jacobs dedicates a lot of time to her patients. I’ve been her patient for 17 years and she’s always been accurate. She is caring and compassionate.

She's quite friendly on the surface, but once you start asking questions, she gets defensive, impatient and condescending. I hold 4 degrees, and research everything in life thoroughly. I also work with clients in a medical-based capacity. Her reactionary attitude is utterly unprofessional. Any compassionate doctor will welcome questions and address your concerns. HVMA's GP quality has degraded steeply in recent years. What a shame.

First time I met her, liked her direct approach. Seemed to listen and care. Terrible at following up on issues raised though. On following visits she was curt, rude and had the audacity to ask "why are you here?" As if I was a nuisance When I was feeling horrible, medical wise. Not an empathetic or compassionate person. Yikes.

This woman should be fired. She is the worst doctor I have ever dealt with; she is negligent and is an embarrassment to the medical community.
