We were new to the area and needed a pediatrician. I took my child in for concerns about allergies. My concerns were NOT taken seriously and I was told it is likely a nervous tick causing my child to cough, because it wasn't currently allergy season - this was in the middle of summer. I decided to go ahead and make an appointment with an allergist at Mass General. Sure enough, my child tested positive for severe allergies to grass, and mild allergies to trees, weeds and mice. We have since switched to a new practice.
