Worst doctor on earth! He didn't review my files or MRI and then shrugged me off and said I should see a psychiatrist because I couldn't possibly be in pain. He didn't bother to look at the MRI which clearly shows my herniated disc!

He rushes through every single visit they are 5-10 minutes at most. He constantly downplays all of your symptoms, then pushes you out the door and says ok see you in a month or 6 weeks like for what?? If I could leave ZERO stars I would. If you want a real diagnosis and a caring doctor do NOT go to him. It is a complete waste of time and emotionally draining.

My visit with Dr Moverman was so bad that I considered reporting him to whatever medical board that’s out there. I went to see him for a simple ADHD consult and not only was overall demeanor deeply unpleasant and aggressive, he grilled me on my body and relationship with my wife in a deeply disturbing way, completely unprompted. The disgust that he had for me as an lgbt person was tangible. Obviously none of this had anything to do with ADHD. Left feeling absolutely horrible. I don’t recommend ANYONE go see this guy but especially not if you happen to be gender nonconforming or in a same sex relationship.

I have been seeing Dr.Karanth since 2014, when I learned that I had Chiari Malformation type 1 and Syringmyelia that were causing me to have massive headaches and migraines to the point nothing was helping me, I had live in pain because of them. He’s truly the best doctor I have ever been to, he is trustworthy and knowledgeable, especially with my condition. He takes his time on explaining everything to you, especially on his findings. He listens to you and will answer any questions you have. I have already had two surgeries done by him and since then I’m about to live my life better and the massive headaches/migraines have sufficiently gone away, yes I do got headaches here and there but not like before. He’s the only surgeon that I would trust and allow to do this type of surgery. He’s very thorough about each surgery he did, explain what he was going to do and what the goal would be. Hands down, he is the best, I wouldn’t go to anyone else but him.

He rushed through my visit. Despite me having many symptoms he had no explanation. He refused to do further testing once labs came back normal once. Still suffering and nobody is listening.

Neurosurgery
I wish I could leave a 1/2 star. Had my first appointment for an MRI on 3/17/2020 (The day the world closed down due to COVID) so I was patient and understanding. I lost track of the number of times I called, left messages, emails. No report on the MRI results, findings, no mailed letters. No its mid summer, I've lost hope, and start receiving letters from the hospital that I owe for the MRI readings. I told them I wasn't paying until I was updated on the readings, hoping that they would help push for results if they wanted their money. No luck. Finally got through to someone who could help in September. No apology from her or Dr. Cook, no explanation as to why it took 6months. Had the results read to me by Dr. Cook, who then recommended the pain clinic for help with my debilitating back pain. Guess what??!! NO CALL. So here's to round 2 and hoping I'll be able to obtain my health records and find a new professional practice. Its now January 2021

This is not about the visit or the doctor. I have never met him. I simply wanted to cancel an appointment. A woman from the answering service answered and asked me what type of doctor he was and I answered that I thought he was a neurologist. She then put me on hold for at least 5 minutes. A woman picked up (I thought she was the same woman) and I said btw he is a psychologist. To this she rudely yelled “I did not ask what type of doctor he was). I then said sorry and tried to explain to her what happened and she again YELLED “mam, will you listen to me? I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally. Get rid of her. She is not an asset to your practice. This is the first time in my life I have ever offered a review. She was horrible.

I agree with what everyone stated. My experience was very much the same. After waiting for over an hour and a half in his waiting room and only seeing him for no more than fifteen minutes was telling. He was rude, abrasive, and had already had predetermined my diagnosis. I asked him to please slow down as he was interrogating me and he yelled at me. I went to him due to a brain injury and neurological issues and this is how he abused me.

I would not recommend visiting this location. The service was horrible. Receptionist had no idea what she was doing. I was billed twice the amount I was told that the maximum would be. I was pregnant and they should have not seen me according to the doctor, he said this should have been asked up front to avoid having me come in. Unorganized and filled with inaccurate information.

This doctor has the God complex. Barely reviewed my file and then stated that I could not be in pain. Did not listen to me and went on to prescribe me medication that he prescribed to two other patients I met that day. His apparent cure for everybody-medication to treat depression. If you are in pain or have chronic pain, DO NOT see this doctor. You have been warned. Even his staff knows what he is like based on their facial expressions but they can not speak.

Avoid this doctor. He interviewed me in what appeared to be a competent way. His report of our visit, to the contrary, was incompetent to bizarre: he mistook the medications I was taking, the gender of my offspring, and other significant details. Additionally he reported none of the neuro exam I can still describe better than he did in his report. Also, bizarrely, he mentioned at the end of our session that his mother was a clinician in the same medical field as I am -and (incredibly) that he did not like her. On returning home I scoured the internet and found that indeed his mother was in my field: I can only assume he wrote a bizarre assessment of me due to displaced anger at his mother. Beyond concerning. Further caveat emptor: when i mentioned this to an LGH ER nurse who was caring for me she --as incredibly-- stated: when our doctors don't like a patient they write bad reports about them --as if such behavior was other than unethical or worse. Avoid LGH, avoid Moray.

Wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone, I had an injury in 2011 and have had 5 surgeries and still have chronic pain and nerve damage and he said it is all due to depression and offered no treatment from him. Is this a doctor or a psychiatrist??? Even said he didn't agree with the other doctor's treatment. I didn't know depression causes so much burning pain??
