Dr. Bickley is amazing! I had total hip replacements of both hips within a couple of months of each other and I was up and walking without any assistance within the first week. He is kind, actually listened to my situation and was straight forward about what needed to be done. I have recommended him to many of my friends! Thank you Dr. Bickley! You are the best!

31+ years ago, I was a patient of Dr Johnson's at Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City, CA. I was a pedestrian (in the crosswalk) hit by an auto and thrown 75 feet after being hit twice by the same car that was traveling about 35 MPH. Results were a broken femur, tibia, humerus, clavicle, many fractured and cracked ribs, collapsed lung, a severely broken ankle, etc. Dr J was my doctor for several surgeries and most of my recovery time. He did an amazing job to get me back to living a normal life. I spent the better part of two years with wheelchairs, crutches and canes, but now walk without a limp. I am approaching my 80th year, still walk a few miles every day and still enjoying life to the fullest thanks to his expertise and training. Thank you Dr J. for becoming a surgeon and providing me excellent treatment.

I am 75 years old and had to have total hip replacement, and was referred to Dr. Bickley by my primary physician. It was the first surgery I have ever had. I was extremely anxious and Dr. Bickley understood this and was very reassuring about the positive outcome of my surgery. Dr. Bickley is kind, patient and most of all he cares about his patients. Right after my Left shoulder surgery i felt the difference on my shoulder. I feel good with no pain and able to resume my workout activities. highly recommend Dr.Johnson, he is so professional and so is his staff.

Prior to the procedure i was unable to walk, now i walk 2-3 miles a day, play tennis and do volunteer work for neighbors in need.

Explained causes of conditions well and repeated what I didn't hear or understand. Listened to me about treatments and concerns. Made an over the counter suggestion for soft bed full arch support insoles. Also, he changes in over the counter medication and how/when to take them. Staff and nurses were friendly and attentive. Environment was clean and neat.

Prior to carpal tunnel surgery I wasn't sleeping and was having trouble with a home project. No narcotics needed after surgery. Wish I could have put a 6/5. Orchard surgery was excellent.

The surgical center was great and made me more comfortable than the hospital. My experience with my left knee total knee replacement has made me book my Right knee right away

Dr. Bickley was a joy to deal with from my very first visit. He was sympathetic to my pain and current condition. He recommended replacement surgery for my hip and reviewed with me the approach, healing expectations, timelines, etc. He was excited to help me, was confident surgery would provide me relief. Leading up to surgery Dr. Bickley was very receptive to my questions never had an issue with my questions and at times impressed with my questions. Day of surgery he knew I was scared, he made me feel at ease. Surgery was smooth, minimal pain after and my prior back and hip pain gone. Post surgery follow ups where great as expected and his staff was also top notch. I was at the point I looked forward to my appointments as I have enjoyed my interactions with Dr. Bickley. Had my right knee replaced in the past and the left knee replacement with the MAKO made a huge difference. Went to Orchard surgical center and had a great experience and was able to go home the same day. Staff was very attentive.

My hip feels better 16 days after surgery, every day it gets better and better. The hip no longer gives out on me. I only had to use 1 prescription of pain medication. The recovery was easier than I thought, there was nothing to it. I am very happy with the results!

Left shoulder rotator cuff repair my shoulder is good as new glad i had it done worth it. I'm back to my full duty i have my strength back.
