As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Patel did my angiogram and placed 3 stents. When he offered to transfer my case to another cardiologist for follow-up, I refused. He is totally focused on each patient, and always makes sure in his gentle manner that all of my questions have been answered at each appointment.

I was very surprised the level of care I received from Dr.Collins was GREAT!. I would recommend him to anyone I know who wants the best care.I'm not a Louisianna resident and he was still very in tuned with providing the best care.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Loss of over two pints of blood, several large very painful hematomas, and a stent I did not need until he went through the vein he was supposed to use and punctured my artery. He refused to meet with me and my family to explain my prognosis and the preventable complications that he caused. Instead of one day outpatient, I spent six days in hospital. 19 days later, I continue to have leg pain and swelling that sent me to emergency room to get explanation and relief.
