Review of Dr. Walsh

Waited 8 weeks for initial appt. Told nerve block was needed, THAT appt. to take another month! In the meantime, I am unbearable pain. You call and call and portal and portal. They keep saying, "the clinic supervisor will call you" and/or "waiting for answer from Dr. Walsh". All the while you're BEGGING for pain meds and you never get any. When you finally are contacted, you're told,"we have 48 hours to contact you" and "pain meds will not help your condition". I the nerve block is a diagnostic tool and you haven't HAD the nerve block yet, why not give the pt. some pain meds to TRY, no, it's better to let the pt. suffer excruciating pain causing them to scream all night and day in agony! This person obviously cares NOTHING for the torture patients are enduring, she should find another line of work, one that doesn't require a shred of empathy.

Dr. Walsh was great! She really got down to business and listened to me and asked me questions. It was as if I was the only thing she had to do that day. She made me feel comfortable through my nervousness of injections. I really trusted her and she helped me. I would definitely see her again.

I went to Dr. Walsh because of severe herniated disc in my neck. she decided I needed a shot in neck . okay let's do it. She never looked at my MRI or even an Cray before giving me the shot. I told her the day of the shot that I couldn't lay on my stomach because of the pain. They didn't care told me to do it anyways. They didn't give me any medication and as far as the shot it did ability absolutely nothing because she did it in the wrong place. I left in extreme pain with no meds on fol

There is nothing more debilitating and scary than being in intense pain. Even worst, when it happens out of town; away from my family or doctor. Before seeing Dr. Walsh, she spoke in detail to my Doctor in Los Angeles and had the info to better treat my symptoms. Dr. Walsh has seen to it that my back pain was managed promptly and with an eye for a more pain free future. She and her staff have taken the time to follow up with me and are prompt if I have any questions or needs. Can't praise enough

I hate to see Dr. Walsh bashed on here just because she does not prescribe narcotics when they aren't appropriate. She is a good, caring doctor who took the time to find the right treatment for me when no one else would. She spent over an hour with me getting to know my story and my pain. I wish there were more pain doctors like her out there!

Dr. Lirette (Walsh) is extremely rude and does not seem to care. She treats you like she doesn't have the time to see you. When a treatment for chronic pain did not work for me she did not present me with any other options and expected me to stay on the same treatment that was not working. I would highly recommend finding a different doctor if you have the choice. When you are in severe pain all you want is someone who cares about you and wants to help you.

Rude and makes you feel like she is doing you a favor by seeing you. By far the worst doctor I have encountered.
