I was rushed to the ER where i waa told i had an abcess in my kidney. I went into septic shock during the examination and he stented my kidney because of a stone as well. Dr.Sleeper saved my life and i am so so so grateful. Excellent bedside manner. I will never use anyone else .

On the morning of 10/27/22, I was suffering from urinary retention. I called the office around 10:00am and was told that someone would call me back. I called back at 4:00pm because no one called me and I knew the office closed at 5:00pm. I was assured that someone would call me back after they finished with patients. Still no call. I called them back at 9:00am Friday, 10/28/22. I was told that the doctors were out of the office all day and that I should go to the ER. I was in severe pain and hope I do not have residual kidney damage because of the pressure from an over distended bladder. DR. PUROHIT'S OFFICE COULD HAVE/SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT THE DAY BEFORE. The following Monday morning, 10/31/22 I called to schedule an appointment. Again I was told that someone would call me back. To this day December 31, 2022, I have yet to get a call back to schedule an appointment. I have since moved on to another physician. I do not recommend.

Dr Sleeper is a great urologist. Although he didn't perform my surgery, he did provide follow up care for several years, and was very accommodating to my needs. I stay as informed of my medical condition as a non dr can, and whenever I asked for a specific type of test, he would approve without question. Excellent physician.

Awesome visit. We recently moved and Dr. Sleeper took complete care of my issues. Highly recommend.

All the negative review are correct. Please read... in a crowded waiting room of patients were the loud sounds of receptionists holding personal conversation with the privacy window wide open. One receptionist even mentioned that they scheduled the wrong procedure with a patient. This was audible for everyone to hear and I'm shocked patients didn't walk out. I waited 30 mins after my scheduled time to be seen. The appointment with Dr. Sleeper lasted a couple minutes with no resolution to my ailment. It has been several days since my X-ray and I've received no results, via phone nor My Chart, even after my multiple attempts. MY RESULTS ARE BEING HELD HOSTAGE! What was the point of being seen here? It is my opinion that if this establishment cannot timely and properly address patient issues, then they need to be closed for business. If I would have checked reviews here or through Google, I would have avoided at all costs.

I have no issue with Dr. Purohit, but staff will not do a pre-authorization for testosterone prescription. This means my insurance WILL NOT reimburse me for cost. I was told by nurse they don't have the "manpower" to input pre-authorizations. Very disappointing, my insurance company said they never heard of anything like that before. First question I asked when making next appointment at another urology clinic, do they do pre-authorization for testosterone?

Dr. Purohit is an extremely good surgeon. I just cannot stand dealing with his staff. They are very rude and always rushing you.

I had an MRI (cancer screen) done on 3/10/22 the results were available on 3/16/22. As of 4/7/22 the doctor has not contacted me or responded to 3 mychart messages. His staff responded to say he would be in touch but he has not done so.

Very thorough, kind and compassionate. Saw us in a timely manner and the exam and plan of care were carried out in a manner that we could understand. Wait time for a new patient visit wasn’t bad either!

We have used Dr. Purohit for almost 10 years. He has performed surgeries on my husband and myself and is exceptional. He does robotic surgery and is highly skilled. He has several degrees and does his own surgeries. You can get total health under his care. We have referred several of our friends and family to him.

Does not explain condition or treatment just does “something”. Very frustrating experience would not return

Went to 2 other doctors about the same issue, one rushed to conclusions, and one did nothing at all and said it was fine. Dr. Purohit listened and worked with me to correct the issue. He did not rush to surgery but wanted the correct answer that's best for me. He wanted me to be in the decision-making process and was patient with me asking the same questions over and over. I can tell he cared about me the whole time. I am very happy to call Dr. Pruihit my Doctor.

Dr.Purohit and his staff were and are the consummate professional's through 3 stent procedures and really listened about my concerns and actually finally cleared my right kidney of stones and I must that I haven't had any issues with my right kidney since and I thank the good Dr and his awesome staff enough for helping me ASAP in my time of need! Thank y'all again for making me feel like a priority and important patient!!

Dr. Purohit (son) has done my follow ups after surgery at Tulane and also performed a surgery on me. I've had nothing but the best care from him and his staff and I'd highly recommend him to anybody.

Very smart and professional...explained the options for my issue....will continue with this great Doctor!

He is cold-hearted and has poor communication skills, he needs to get training on how to deal with people.

Excellent caring dr who takes time to listen and explains things clearly. Had surgery Oct 2019 after 5 months of going to other drs who had no clue what my problem was and each gave a different reason for my problem. He knew right away and solved it.
