Review of Dr. Frederic
in Brusly, LA |
A cream he had given and was also causing the skin to break down and actually bleed in one place. Saw him Monday told him I was having knee replacement shortly. I needed something that would clear it up without that effect. He gave another cream. Started using new cream with same effect. Called for another cream but said I had to come back on Friday. Told him Neosporin had healed it. Said worse thing. How to heal? Said I could take advice or no. New script for $330 cream. Rude, stupid doctor

Review of Dr. Frederic
Baton Rouge, LA |
I brought my 11 year old daughter who lost all of her upper eyelashes to Dr. Frederic. He barely made any eye contact with is, didn't offer up any ideas as to why this was happening to her - literally answered "I don't know". He barely even spoke to us, just typed. I had to ask questions to pull anything out of him. He said treating her missing eyelashes was "medically unnecessary" and seemingly blew it off as insignificant. I left in tears at the lack of emapthy. My daughter was so upset.

Review of Dr. Frederic
in Baton Rouge, LA |
I went to see Dr. Frederic about a keratosis on my face that had recently appeared after a burn. He discussed sunscreens and how to maximize protection from the sun while working in Arizona. He took care of the keratosis and decided to biopsy a mole on my back, which was a melanoma. He called right away, and excised the melanoma the next working day. His manner is courteous and professional, but not jovial. He found the melanoma that had recently been missed, and that is what is most important!

I saw Dr. Frederick because of a wart on my foot. He did freeze the wart, but his manner towards me was very unfriendly, almost to the point of rudeness. After he finished with the wart, I asked him to look at a suspicious mole on my back and he told me he didn't have time, that I would have to make another appointment for that!

Review of Dr. Jackson
Prairieville, LA |
I went to see him about my hair loss last week and it was a big waste of time. He is somewhat of a know it all, and didn't even pretend to listen much to what I was trying to tell him. As a matter of fact it was difficult for me to get in a word edgewise with him talking and talking. I really didn't feel like he was trying to help me with my problem. He also kept googling stuff I was asking him about-- I can google things for free myself.

Review of Dr. Frederic
in Baton Rouge, LA |
Dr. Frederic is courteous, professional and thoughtful. The diagnosis is allergic contact dermatitis. There are too many causes, so Dr. Frederic printed them out for my reference and told me what's the next step if not getting better after the treatment. He prescribed me hydrocortisone cream, twice a day, also a refill, just in case it happens again, no need to cost another visit. That's very thoughtful. Really appreciate. And the cream works well on my itchy swollen rashes.

My daughter and I are patients of Dr. Jackson and we like him a lot. He's very nice and he doesn't waste your time or money. He's very thorough and precise about his treatment. I have recommended him to family and friends.

Review of Dr. Frederic
in Baton Rouge, LA |
I saw Dr. Frederic because I was concerned about hair loss. He walked in, barely made eye contact with me, looked at my hair for maybe 4 seconds and told me it would probably start growing back in a few months. He gave me no idea about what to expect, when I should be concerned, or what was causing my problem. Even worse, he had zero compassion or concern for someone obviously in distress. It was the most unprofessional and rude behavior I've ever seen from a professional in any field.
