Review of Dr. Dashti

- in Louisville, KY |

Dr. Dashti is very thorough and explains complex medical conditions where anyone can understand. He is extremely intelligent and gives great advice and options rather than rushing into unnecessary surgery or procedures. He, as well as his staff, are very friendly. The wait was minimal but he took his time explaining everything and answered all of our questions.

Review of Dr. Ghiassi

- in Lexington , KY |

Dr Ghiassi and his team were excellent. We met him at Norton’s where my daughter was referred for a spot on her brain found on the CT scan in the ER. She was immediately transferred to Norton’s Brownsboro ICU. He ran additional diagnostic tests, then met us and thoroughly explained her diagnosis and the plan of care which involved brain surgery. He and the team were attentive and compassionate in our interactions with them. He treated my daughter as though she was his daughter. Our experience was phenomenal. He is truly an expert with impeccable skills. My daughter was released in 3 days as planned and is currently recovering exceptionally well. We are truly blessed that God put us in the care of Dr Ghiassi.

Review of Dr. Sun

I would not recommend Dr. Sun to anyone. I had heard he was a good spine surgeon but when my brother was diagnosed with a brain tumor we went to him. He told us in that first visit he could t do surgery due to the risk of damaging my brother’s ability to speak and walk. He did not mention that there could be a surgeon who could do it. Soon after based on my research I found a group of neurosurgeons who communicated with us and were able to complete and awake surgery which allowed them to avoid damaging critical areas of the brain. When my brother later had an infection in Louisville we returned to Dr. Sun. When the doctor came in my brother’s room he looked at me (not my brother) and said “ I told you he shouldn’t have surgery”. It was the most insensitive thing I could image someone saying to a person fighting for their life. If we hadn’t had surgery he wound have had less than 6 months to live. Because he had the surgery he got an extra year and no damage to speech and motor.

Review of Dr. Doss

- in Louisville, KY |

For me to have another spinal surgery in was ready scared of the not knowing. Dr Doss explained everything to where I understood everything clearly. He went over my MRIs and even showed me exactly what he was seeing and how he could correct it. He never once pushed me into having the surgery but did tell all the risks involved and how it could help relieve some of the pain I was having but as with any surgery it's not a guarantee. I would definitely be returning if other problems occurred.
