Dr. White has been my surgeon for 2 procedures. The first one was a complicated shoulder injury. I couldn't have asked for better skill, concern and care. The second surgery was for a meniscus repair. Again, Dr. White did excellent work. i feel he is a compassionate, skillful and dedicated doctor. I do not hesitate to highly recommend him to others!
Dr. Wahle found a spot on my bladder. was going to operate at a later date. I went home and it busted open. I was in a lot of pain - He got me in St Lukes the next day and operated
Outstanding personality and great skills as an orthopedic surgeon
Very comforting, knowledgeable and professional at all times! I would certainly recommend him to other people.
Dr. Eyanson is an excellent doctor. He has treated my AS very effectively. He is highly recommended.
Outstanding visit from start to finish! She began our visit by asking me detailed questions about my medical history, taking copious notes, and asking for clarifications and more info to remove all ambiguity. She explained her approach to treating my condition, wanting to know if I was comfortable with her methodology or if I wanted a different approach or changes. She listened attentively, and my care and treatment plan was a collaborative effort between the two of us.
Dr Eckroth is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have dealt with - if you call or email with a question he personally calls you with his answer - he himself even called me on a Sat to see how I has doing from his surgery on Friday I would recommend him very highly
Most awful surgical experience in my life, and i have had several. Absolutely traumatizing. Complete lack of concern by Md.
Dr Carpenter was amazing he did my daughters tubes, my other daughters tonsils and most recently my sons tubes. He was so personable and caring- he even carried my son back to surgery which is almost unheard of as the nurse usually does this. We had absolutely no complications and it has been over a year and he has not had an infection since! Highly recommend.
Our consult with Dr. Carpenter was so encouraging. Our 7-year-old is not a good patient: she has a lot of anxiety and fidgeting with any doctor appointment. Dr. Carpenter handled her like a pro--she was laughing the whole time he talked with us. His explanation of her condition and what would happen after surgery was excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone who suffers from anxiety because he alleviates it from the moment he comes to the waiting area to call you in--personally!
My husband saw Dr. Coester, and she didn't have the time of day to listen to him. She was very abrupt and had no compassion for the pain he was in. She didn't order any additional testing. She dismissed him as just having back pain which was a major misdiagnosis. He was later diagnosed with multiple myeloma by a different doctor.
No empathy. No communications skills. Didn't care.
Extremely professional with a terrific bedside manner. I highly recommend him!
Don't visit her, doesn't communicate well, couldn't diagnose simple stroke after brain injury. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. There is a certain degree of impropriety when dealing with people after a personal injury. Finds reasons to not diagnose.
She did a very thorough job and helped me get on the right medicines. I'm really happy with the care.
Dr. Bagheri is my hero. He diagnosed my condition after listening to me patiently and asking many questions, not rushing me through like several other doctors before him. He then ordered x-rays, which he read immediately and came down with the diagnosis right on the spot, the very first visit. I was shocked since I have been doctoring with at least 5 different doctors across specialties for several years to no avail. Now, after 6 months, all my symptoms have disappeared and I owe it all to him.
Always available, he will see you ASAP if you have a problem . He is a true caring physician, and I recommend him to my friends with no reservation. He has been my rheumatologist for the past 10 years, and not once I have had a problem with him. I wish I could say the same thing about my other doctors. Obviously this is a big office and quite busy, which is not my type, but Dr. Bagheri makes the whole experience worth it.
Dr. Ekroth has excellent communication skills! He reviewed my surgical history and ordered physical therapy for me which greatly assisted my recovery and I'm doing very well. He also respected and answered my questions with clarity and was positive. Thank you Dr. Ekroth!
I'm left with a lot of, "This isn't...." and no, "This is..." and a suggestion of a second opinion. Very nice woman, will spend time with you, but I don't have a lot of confidence in where I'm at and I feel like she feels it is acceptable to not have an answer and be faced with neurologic symptoms that she recognizes. This is not acceptable and she has no answers for the symptoms. I'm concerned and now faced with seeking another doctor. ? Hm.
I was very happy with Dr. Chimenti. He was kind and very informative. I would happily recommend him.
Dr. Chang has always been friendly and concerned with my condition. Even better, she is helping me slowly get off gabapentin with all of it's possible side effects. I'm glad to see her twice a year and if she was a GP, I would say, "Sign me up as a new patient." She is among the nicest doctors I have come in contact with in my 70 years.
Awesome Dr. I would recommend him to anyone. Proud to call him my Surgeon and my Dr. !!!
I have been seeing Dr Bagheri for more than 6 years now. He always follows through with the labs, orders and medications. Very knowledgeable and prompt. Unlike some other doctors, you do not sit in waiting area for long before being seen. The office is pretty busy and sometimes you are kept on hold for 15-20 minutes before the nurse can answer you. Overall, I am very happy with Dr Bagheri's care.
Does not explain in detail.
Dr. Brooks is very patient and informative with the treatment of my young son. He is always willing to answer questions and is sure I understand everything before I leave his office.
I would not recommend this Doc to anyone I cared about!! He does not listen to what you're saying, it seemed as if he had my diagnosis already after reading what my referring doctor had sent. Fortunately I got a second opinion, come to find out that Dr. Bagheri's diagnosis was only partially correct. Partially can make a big difference in how you live your life!!
He is a rarity in today's medical world. He listens and spends time
This man was so intelligent he was like a walking medical dictionary. My medical records did not reflect my visit appropriately though. That is the only reason it's not a 5 because this guy is brilliant.
First appointment I arrived just on time as the weather was raining with high winds and I had a one hour drive in slow traffic. I arrive, find the right area and get in a long line. I wait 10+ minutes to get to check in desk and am told that I am late for my appointment and that the doctor cannot see me today, I must reschedule. Wow, for a clinic whom serves a population - that by definition- has mobility as one of their physical conditions, this zero tolerance policy seems way out of line!!!!
She didn't do anything. She walked in the room looked at me went Hmm, you've had a headache for a month? you saw someone else 6 years ago? this medication didn't work then? let try it again... Oh you're on this medication...you're not on a high enough dose we're just going to up that. and sent me on my way. Didn't run any test or anything. Worst experience I have ever had with any doctor. I will never go back to her. If you need to see a neurologist do not see this one.

He was waiting in the room for me. I also saw him call upon his own patients. He was thorough and spoke clearly so I could understood. He's absolutely wonderful!
excellent Clinician, spends time and answers questions. Diagnose and treated me after others missed for 3 years.
Dr Carpenter has done surgeries on all 3 of our children and he is simply the best. We waited to get in to see him because with the previous experiences we wouldn't see anyone else. He is amazing with children. Thanks doc
Dr. Chang is personable, thorough, and explains conditions well to patients, and/or families. My mother-in-law has been followed for her Alzheimer's for 5+ years. We have been pleased with her interactions with mom, and we have followed recommendations. I have recommended Dr Chang to my daughter-in-law, and she could make an appointment within 2 weeks. The staff are friendly, and well knowledgeable. The office is beautiful, clean, and efficiently laid out. I would highly recommend Dr Chang.
After being managed for my chronic illness for over 20 years, I can not say enough positive attributes that apply to Dr. Brooks. His professionalism, knowledge, willingness to listen and answer my concerns, kindness and empathy make him a wonderful asset to our medical community.
Very knowledgeable doctor. Never in a hurry and takes time to explain everything thoroughly. Great staff too!
I have recommended him. He is very thorough and has a excellent bedside manner. He remembers from visit to visit any personal issues and asks about them.
The absolute best!!! I was diagnosed with a kidney tumor by my GP. He saw me within the hour and set me at complete ease by his manner, obvious level of knowledge and compassion. Any visit I had prior to surgery, I left his office being completely confident in him as well. My surgery was a success and he saw me minutes prior to surgery and in his phenomenal manner, I left for the operating room without anxiety. He is personable, not arrogant or aloof. He deserves an Oscar!
Dr Renz has performed two of my surgeries. I am in the medical field and highly trust him. Very professional, kind and gives you the attention you need. Other doctors tell me they would go to Dr. Renz if they needed surgery. And as an added bonus, his nurse is amazing!
Dr. Peterson spent so much time discussing my mom's condition with us. There were even times when I had called the office where he called back instead of the nurse! I feel like he very much cares about how my mom is doing. I highly recommend Dr. Peterson!
Dr Sweitzer is great doctor and great at explaining surgery procedures. In less then a week I'm walking around my house without walker. This is far beyond beyond my point doectations but one that is challenging for PT. Great bed side manner.
I had an adult tonsillectomy. Dr Telisak did all to make this procedure as easy as possible. Kind, caring, and professional.
Wonderful, caring, gets to the heart of the issue, and advocates for the patient. So fortunate we got him!
He is a very skilled surgeon.
I saw Dr. Pilcher for my knee. I asked him, "Please touch the side of my knee where it is most swollen." He refused. He did not exam or observe my knee. He didn't offer any ideas of why I can't bear any weight on my knee and the pain is sharp even during rest. The appointment was a waste of time and money.
Dr. Richardson is compassionate, very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and very caring. I would certainly recommend him to friends and family. Very grateful for his experience and high level of care.
I have dealt with Dr. Renz on two separate occasions and he was always professional and had my best interests as his top priority. Also has a great bedside manner and very approachable.
Once I went for my first checkup after surgery things went down hill fast. I have symptoms after surgery which i did not have before and I kept being told he can't explain them, i.e. loss of use of my dominate hand and tingling in my fingers. I waited in a back room for hours due to him running late more than once. At my final appt. Dr. P told me he still can't explain my symptoms & that maybe I need my need more of an education & a better job. PS I have 3 BA's & a job with the Sheriff's Office
I have to say best experience I have had with a surgeon. He was kind, efficient and explained things well, before and after surgery. Would recommend him highly
I was referred to him from the ultrasound doctor. I'm not aware of doctors or surgeons in the area but I'm very pleased with him.
I was admitted to St. Lukes ER with a large hiatal hernia in severe pain with Dr. Nowell on call. The ER doctor said I would have surgery by 6 am, since my stomach was twisted. Dr. Nowell did not see me until 9 am and did not do surgery until 2 days later, saying I was not in enough pain. 3 weeks later my stomach was back through the diaphragm. His surgery failed, and tests showed he killed my vegas nerve. I had to repeat surgery at Mayo Clinic. I now have gastroparesis, a dead stomach.
Very bad Dr.-Surgeon.Treats patients like they are the lowest form of human beings on the planet. He has a "Godlike " which makes you feel like a sub-human.Uncaring, does not listen to any form of concern you may have and is arrogant, etc.Does not care about any pain you may have, as I went through a major surgery and was in a lot of pain, due to his lack of doing the procedure incorrectly. The plate and one of the screws were about 1/3rd of the way tearing through a nerve. Removed it right away.
Poor surgeon. Kept me in surgery an extra 2 hours because he couldn't find a bone fragment in my wrist. Put two pins in my wrist and then a cast. Pain was incredible but, he ignored me. After my insistence, he took off the cast and to his shock, he said he thought he trimmed back the pins far enough but, didn't. The pins were sticking out so far, causing me great pain. He said he needed to remove them right away. Still ignored the pain I was in after the torn cartilage. No sympathy from this Dr.
He is honest and knowledgeable and tells it to you straight. Very pleasant demeanor and easy to talk to.
Dr. McBride is extremely caring and attentive to any and all of my concerns. He has helped me when no one else could. He takes the time to answer your questions and is very knowledgeable.
Their is no way I'd give this man a 5 star rating! He's horrible and he was very rude! I would not recommend him to anyone unless he changes his tune! I may consider getting referred to someone else!Had I not had the knowledge in healthcare I'd have really big issues right now!
She is great to talk to she really knows what she's doing she's an excellent doctor I would recommend her anytime
When I met with Dr. Nassif the first available date to be seen was almost 4 weeks from my accident. I have had knee problems for many years and a fall exacerbated pain and inflammation. Dr. Nassif spent a very short time examining my knee and talking with me about care options. (Less than 10 minutes) It seems as though his cure for pain is cortisone injections. I was looking for long-term pain relief and correction. Not a bandaid. I went to U of I and found a doctor that understood.
I'm 55 years old and Dr Lange recommended a total hip replacement. She explained to me all of the beneifts/risks associated with this type of surgery. It was a very thorough and experienced presentation with pictures of the bad hip. It has been six weeks post surgery and I've been walking outside for four weeks with no support (cain/walker). I'm up to four miles now with no pain. I highly recommend Dr. Lange for any orthopedic needs. She has all of the "right stuff".
I would recommend. As a nurse (working at a top 10 medical institution) I observed him in the OR (while there to observe a CRNA) ; and was VERY impressed with his kindness and overall disposition. He is clearly a very good surgeon as well. I would recommend him highly to anyone. He will treat your family member to the best of his ability; and with respect.
The best doctor around, very caring, excellent surgeon and master at his work. He has fixed both of my deformed bone on bone knees and right hip, I walk and golf without pain thanks to this Angel Dr. Munjal and team thanks for ALL you do, you have helped so many of my friends and family.
Dr. Nassif is the most excellent orthopedic physician ever. He is very kind and knowledgeable. We are so very happy with his care.
Dr. Lange is super surgeon and physician and caring and kind person! She made sure my questions and concerns were answered. My hip recovery was quick with excellent results with flexibility and strength.
She demonstrates broad knowledge of foot issues, including detailed knowledge of specific disorders/ injuries. I went to her initially because of plantar fasciitis (which began prior to my move to Cedar Rapids and for which I was treated prior to said move). I have continued to see her because of my diabetes and its possible effect on my feet (so far, none).
I had waited years to have my correction because I had heard so many horror stories. I was in less pain 4 days after the surgery than I was prior to surgery. If I had known it would be so easy, I would have done it years ago! Great doctor!
My husband and I have been patients of Dr Munjal and have had no complaints. However we will no longer be going to her. She has refused to continue being our daughter's physician. Her reason is that she has not been given adequate notice when canceling an appointment. Our daughter is paraphlegic and has unpredictable, incapacitating, neuropathy pain making it impossible to foresee in time to cancel an appointment the day before. Dr Munjal's action is extremely uncaring and unprofessional.
Very pleased with my New Knee replacement; very professional, kind and updated. I think he is THE BEST. I have great regards for Dr. Munjal, thank you for all your help and motivation before and after surgery. Enjoyed the massage and meditation after surgery.
I saw Dr. Munjal only because he was on call when I went to urgent care due to a fall, which injured my wrist. He scheduled my 3-week follow-up visit with himself, which was a complete waste of 2 hours of my time and energy because he clearly didn't understand what was going on with my wrist -- it turns out he's not a wrist specialist. He also answered text/emails and phone calls during my appointment time, without so much as a sorry. Overall very unprofessional and inappropriate.
He was kind and did a good job on my knee replacement
Excellent Professional Compassionate Honest
Outstanding by any measure. Dr. Pardubsky is everything you would want in a doctor and more.
He is caring, efficient and respects your time. He called me to give me some information, personally, at 7pm on two different occasions. He is extremely dedicated. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr Hoxie is knowledgeable and compassionate. He takes time to listen to concerns and answers questions thoroughly. Highly recommend him as a urologist.
Honestly I wish I could leave less than one start or negative Stars! I have been to his office twice now and he has not seen my injury. Today he was rude for the second time and of course wasted my time by not even giving me an MRI or even bothering to look at my injury! My kneecap completely dislocated 3 weeks ago now and I still cannot walk!!!! Beyond mad
Dr. Hill was extremely rude and condescending. I explained I had questions about my condition. He said he only had 20 minutes. I got to ask one question and he stood up to leave. When asked to further explain my condition, he responded "I think I know a lot more about this than you do" and walked out of the room. I had to wait 50 minutes in the waiting room, another 9 minutes in a holding area and then 15 minutes waiting in the exam room. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING A DIFFERENT DOCTOR!!!
I saw that Dr. Geisler had a one star rating and I thought that was an unfair rating. I have been one of his patients for over 4 years and I have always been satisfied with the level of care he provides. I do recommend his service.
I'm a disabled patient with a torn labrum in the left shoulder. Dr. Hart has refused to give me any kind of pain meds and falisifed my medical records by putting my active problem was a finger sprain. Arthrogram clearly indicated the tear. He does not work well with disabled patients. He was extremely rude and arrogant to my husband and I and basically told me I was a 30 minutes or less in and out case and that if I wanted pain meds to get it from my regular doctors. go elsewhere.
Very disappointing. seemed rushed and disinterested.
5 minutes was all he gave me to misdiagnose and then prescribe a medication that was expensive and did nothing to help. It was very frustrating, expensive and a waste of time. It is very sad that when you are referred to a specialist they don't even take the time to find out the problems you are having because they are so overbooked or just don't seem to care. Thank God I went for a second opinion to someone who actually listened to what the problem was and received the correct diagnosis.
After reading some attitudes about Dr. Krivit, I went in wondering what to expect., If you are looking for a Doctor who covers you with hugs and kisses and tells you what you want to hear, Go elsewhere. But.. If you want a highly trained. knowledgeable professional diagnostician; one who tells it like it is and has the training, both collegiate and experience, Dr. Krivit is the best. Went in for bloody nose and got treated for ear problems I wasn't aware of. Just part of his protocol.
Felt very confident in him! Thanks Dr. Krivit!
I wouldn't recommend this man to even put a dog down. Do yourself a favor and research this person and find out what other patients, fellow doctors and the hospital nurses who have to work with him have to say. I do not respect him at all. His laziness, none caring, umempathic and egotistical ways about cost my husbands life. If you question him or his methods at all, he will quit you and refuse to be your doctor. DO NOT USEE HIM!!! (I wouldn'the even rate him a half star)
Twice saw for shoulder injury - first rotator cuff, second broken humerus after a fall. Trust him completely. Does what is needed, doesn't push unnecessary procedures. Sometimes quiet, but great sense of humor. Independent PT told me his patients healed faster and better than anybody else's.
Was extremily rude and didnt seem confident in his skills. Made me feel like he was doing me some sort of favor by allowing me in his office, will happily move on to a different doctor.
Dr. Krivit has no bed side manners, no compassion, he is very blunt! He wanted rush me into surgery the next day to fix my crooked nose, I told him that I have to give a two week notice because it was not an emergency. He seems more concerned about making money than treating the illness! He don't explain things very well, he used some medical terms that I didn't understand, I told him that I don't know what that is! I don't care for him. I need to find another doctor!
Dr. Kuo was so thorough in her examination. She was honest and gave us a very good idea what was in store for my husband as he healed. She came to the wound center to see him rather than making him go to the office. Very convenient for us! She has a very engaging personality and calls my husband by name, considers his occupation in her decisions and really personalizes his care.
Upon checking pressure points and where exactly I was experiencing pain, she dismissed half the areas I said. I later called requesting a document stating the extent of my injury and what limitations it may cause for my employer. She was supposed to call me so we could discuss what I do for work, she never called. I called back and her nurse relayed to me that "Even if the injury is causing you pain, you can still DO the work..." I felt Dr. Kuo didn't take me seriously & made a biased judgement.
This is Lawrence G. Jenkins from Shellsburg, Iowa. Let me tell you why I walked out this morning's appointment at 09:15 AM, August 5. Arrived at 08:30AM. Early. I asked the Receptionist if Dr. Kopesky was there this morning. She said he was. She also said that the Doctor starts at 09:00 AM and that I was his first patient. AT 09:20 AM, I asked when we were going to get called. She went in the back. When she came back out, she held up 1 finger and said "one minute." We left at 09:30.
Dr. Fusselman took as much time as my husband and I needed the day I was diagnosed with cancer. He fully went over the ct scan and explained everything. He also made sure I knew everything involved with chemo. At every checkup since diagnosis he has never made me feel rushed at an appointment.
I was having dizzy spells and needed to see an ENT. He had the shortest wait time at 6 weeks of all the ENT's in town. After having missed work for nearly the entire month of March and some of April I finally got in and after a series of tests I diagnosed withe Meniere's disease. During the worst time of the attacks which caused me to be dizzy and unable to stand or even use my arms I filed for short term disability. Dr. turned it down saying he has never supported std for menieres. more story
Very personable, knowledgeable and explains things in an understandable way. I trust him completely!!!
Dr. Fabiano was very concise in his diagnosis and straight forward with what it would take to repair my knee injury. He was thorough, caring and did an excellent job with my surgery and in directing my Physical Therapists with his recommended protocol for a full recovery. I could not be happier that I was referred to him.
Atrocious bedside manner
Charged 121 dollars to remove earwax, did not go in to have ear wax removed nor was told that the procedure would cost 121 dollars. (Family doctor could have done that cheaper.)
Excellent doctor! My wife had to have corrective surgery for a deviated septum. The procedure took twenty minutes just as he said it would. During the initial visit he was able to diagnose the problem within minutes.
She was very thorough in all her explanations. She communicated well and was an excellent doctor. She was very caring and concerned about the patient experience .
I messed around with two family doctors for over a year. One visit to Dr Hart and he knew what was wrong with my shoulder and knew how to fix it. One week after my motion is back with minimal pain.
Very short on the exam, seemed in a hury to get out of the room, even cut me off mid sentance to leave.
He was so nice and helped me breathe a lot better. Also very smart and informative. Would recommend to others.
Dr. Krain has always been strait to the point. He has a friendly personality while telling me exactly what my problems are and what I can do to fix the issues. He has been a blessing. I would recommend going to see Dr Krain versus dealing with the University of Iowa Neurology Unit - they were horrible un-informative. I appreciate this doctor and his staff.
