He is the best of the best, there is no better.Thank you Very much Dr. Thompkins.
My experience was total trust and physical and spiritual care. Dr Rhompkons is extreamely professional with the manerisims of a humble servant. He took wonderful care of me ar all times. I would never trust any other spine doctor the way I trust and love him. I praise God for a doctor like him. I have worked with him professionally so I have seen many aspects of him. Have a great experience with him.
Can't say enough good things about Dr. Thompkins. He is very conservative. He will try other methods for pain relief before suggesting surgery. He listens to you and explains things very well. Have had a cervical and lumbar fusion performed by Dr. Thompkins with great results.
After 6 months seeing another doctor at University of Chicago, I was referred to Dr. Thompkins who immediately diagnosed the problem. Five months after surgery, I'm fully healed and in great shape. Dr. Thompkins listens to his patients.
It will be three years in May for the procedure performed by Dr. Thompkins. I never had a moment of hesitation or doubt after conferring with him on my condition in proceeding with the surgery. I had visited with a few other surgeons but I did not have the comfort level that Dr. Thompkins had given me.
Great person , in my case there wasn't a lot of explaining what was diagnosed and next step wasn't explained. Just sent to next Dr. See u in Afew wks .
Doesn't care. Just pushes you around to another dr. Lakeshore bone and joint all about the $$. Not about helping someone
Dr. Anderson was fantastic. I had a severe break in my upper humerus bone. Dr. Anderson performed my surgery and was a definite "Miracle Worker." He also took the time to explain everything to my husband and me. Also his staff is EXCEPTIONAL. Stephanie (his medical secretary) returned EVERY phone call that I made to her. She was fabulous with her care and follow-up. Megan (his R.N) was also fantastic with her professionalism and concern. The entire staff is superb!!! A great office.
Excellent bedside manner and incredibly knowledgeable. Surgeries on both knees healed without any issues. Excellent staff as well. I gladly recommend him and have already referred close friends. Thrilled with results.
He is great
Dr. Anderson gave me an injection. He was professional, friendly, kind and precise. He knows what he is talking about and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommended.
Dr. Anderson is the best of the best! He reconstructed my entire elbow after a horrible accident. Others told me that I would never have a functional elbow again! Thank goodness I sought care from Dr. Anderson. Excellent care and top-notch skills!
Dr. Anderson and his whole team were fantastic! They were very professional, personable, and great at their jobs! I was well taken care of. His nurse, Megan, was very warm, knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, I'd recommend anyone having hand issues goes to see them. It was a great experience!
Dr. Anderson was compassionate and easy to talk to. He spent extra time with me explaining test results and putting my mind at ease.
I highly recommend Dr Aaron G. Anderson,MD to anyone for problems with their hands. He did my carpel tunnel surgery 8 years ago. You can't even see where my scars are he did such a GREAT job!!!!!! I only had therapy once on each hand. I know people that had same surgery but not with Dr Anderson and still had problems with there hands. Now 8 yrs later I am seeing him for trigger thumb. I didn't have to think twice about who to see. If you find someone good Doctor you keep them.
I called for an appointment and was going to be seen the following week. Dr. Aaron Anderson is extremely easy to talk with, he answered every question I had. He is very professional with an easygoing personality. His office runs so efficiently and I saw him on a Friday , hsurgery, therapy, and follow up appoints were all scheduled before I left his office. And surgery was going to Tuesday , four days after I saw him. I would never hesitate to refer him !!!
Dr Plank is by far the most outstanding orthopedic surgeon around. Low infection rate. No need to go to Chicago when the best is here in Northwest Indiana
He was excellent with my 9 year old daughter. He took the time to make sure she understood what he was doing and what she needed to do to heal. He also took the time to speak to my other children that I had with me in the room. No question, we will come back to him again when the situation presents itself.
Also, all the staff were great. We waited less than 10 min in the waiting room and when my daughter had to go back for X-rays, the tech was super nice.
I tore my ACL in my right knee to the extent that when I had my MRI done, there was no ACL present. I decided to have surgery on it at the beginning of April by Dr. Plank and his team, all I can say is that I couldn't be more satisfied with my decision to have this operation performed my him and his team! Surgery was quick and I have had zero pain, and I mean that I haven't had pain in my knee since before my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Plank and his team! They're all around excellent!
I'd never go back to Dr. Kay ever again. He is always an hour and a half late to all his appointments. Whenever he does get around to seeing you he's in there for less than 5 minutes. I've seen him 4 times and had surgery with him (which was also a poor decision) and I've talked to him for under 10 minutes total. He did ACL reconstruction surgery on me and messed up the surgery! The pin in my was never attached properly. If you have the choice, and you do, go elsewhere.
I suffered a bad accident in the fall and had 2 knee surgeries with Dr. Plank.
Everything went very smoothly and he and his staff were extremely helpful and professional to work with. They made going through a difficult time as easy as it could be.
Overall excellent care from start to finish. Would not go anywhere else.
I can honestly say that Dr. Nenadovich is a very high level spine surgeon. I have a career in physical rehabilitation so I know who the good surgeons are, only a couple I recommend. I had a large disc herniation causing severe pain as well as complete foot drop in my left ankle. Within a few days of my diagnosis I had a lumbar discectomy performed by Dr. Nick and woke up feeling NO PAIN in my leg. With in a couple months I was pretty much back to normal. Very conservative surgeon. Super nice guy
He is honestly one of the kindest physicians I have ever met. He took the time to explain what was wrong with me and fixed my problem. I wish I would have decided to see him sooner.I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely continue to see him for all my issues in the future.
He actually spent time listening to my issues and gave me one of the most thorough exams I have ever had. Everything about my visit was excellent. Best of all, I'm not in pain anymore. I'm so glad I found Dr Guzzo. He is definitely one of the best doctors I have ever seen.
I was told by two different orthopedic doctors that I needed a total knee replacement. I went to physical therapy for strengthening before surgery. I was still apprehensive in getting a knee replacement. I decided to get a third opinion. Much to my surprise I did not say that I needed a knee replacement to Dr. Plank. He told me he could do orthoscopic surgery and it was a success! Although he called my knee the "angry" knee he was able to repair the knee, meniscus, tendons, without replacement
I had shoulder pain for years due to a fall. Dr Levenda DX the injury. Conservative management didn't work so I had surgery to repair my shoulder. It was a rough recovery and I had several issues along the way. He was always easy to get appointments on just a few hours notice. The staff was super helpful with insurance issues also. I ?? Dr Levenda and LBJI
He is the best doctor I have ever had.
I would not go to this Dr!! After being told & treated (& being charged) for hip bursitis by Dr. Guzzo, he decided that it wasn't bursitis after all because if it was he said it would've been healed. When I asked him if bursitis if treatable then why do they have a surgery to remove the bursa? He refused to answer my question. I then asked for a referral to a pain management which he told me he would give me. Then he decided he would not give me a referral. He was arrogant & condescending.
I am a runner and was experiencing knee pain and swelling after my workouts. Dr. Levenda reviewed my x-rays with me, did a thorough hands-on exam and discussed helpful solutions to my knee problem. He took his time with me and listened. After following his advice, I have been able to continue running and required no further intervention. I would recommend Dr. Levenda wholeheartedly!!
I went to see Dr. Levenda for my shoulder after having injury playing volleyball at the Y. He was quick and easy to get into. I had an injection (not painful at all) and he sent me to therapy. He told me I could go to therapy wherever I wanted but I chose to stay at LBJI because it is close to my work. The therapist was great and I am back to playing volleyball in 6 weeks. I am happy I went to see him instead of suffering without treatment.

I went to this doctor for a meniscus repair. The meniscus repair ended up at only a 5% area on outer edge. He also decided to "clean up a little of that cartilage." I've been in pain and a trip around the grocery store is about all I've been able to handle these last two years since the operation. He did lubrication shots (no help, more money for him.) Finally he had me try a voltaren gel and said if it didn't help "I don't know what to tell you." That was
Dr. Guzzo is the BEST doctor I have ever come across.
Canceled appointment three times with no access to associate or alternative to medical care
Great bedside manner, took the time to explain everything about the surgery. Procedure went exceedingly well and Dr plank is just so approachable and caring. Would recommend him for orthopedic surgery to anyone.
Dr. Levenda and staff took very good care of me when i hurt my leg.
Dr. Levenda is the best! I have taken my kids to see him several times for sports injuries and he always takes great care of them. There is never a wait to get in to see him and his staff is very helpful with scheduling. He is very knowledgeable and we trust him wholeheartedly! I know he is very busy and we really appreciate the time he spends with us- even if it is quick! Would recommend to anyone with sports injuries!
He came so highly recommended to me. He is so cautious, he won't do surgery unless absolutely necessary was what I was told.He is so thorough.i had not one but stupidly two cervical fusions, on the same disc. My fusion failed because of returning to work two weeks post op. He later admitted he should not have permitted me to or at least explained dangers. I then had to restabalize the fusion from the back with no info other than, it's no big deal. It was. It continues to still be.
It was absolutely ridiculous! I was completely rushed! I didn't even get done filling out my original paperwork and was out the door. He did not listen to my concerns! And I don't know I was taken seriously! He did nothing! And he wouldn't listen to me!
I previously went to a Pain Management MD that was very condescending with me. I changed to Dr Salman who I found to be very sympathetic and he had a desire to provide me with treatment for my ongoing pain. I fully trusted him and have no desire to go to anyone else!
I want to educate his staff. When someone calls for an appointment and tells you they were told to see a doctor in one or two days, GET THEM IN, and if you can't, tell them to seek another doctor. My problem could of been taken care of easily in an office visit, but now I need surgery because you couldn't get me in for 4 days. You didn't seemed worried so I didn't. I didn't understand the extent of my injury, so when I repeated what the hospital said you should of responded differently
From the start, I knew I was in good hands. I found it very easy to trust him and very thankful he was the one that performed my lower leg reconstruction lol he did an amazing job. :)
Received a referral to see Dr Levenda concerning my constant shoulder pain. He identified the problem which required surgery. His approach and effectiveness was excellent. With the repair and rehab I am now free of all pain and have restored all motion.
Dr. Musgrave is very friendly and easy to talk with. He explained the issue in simple terms. Did not have to wait long in the waiting office.
I could not have asked for any better care!
Dr. Nath is a wonderful and caring doctor. She goes the extra mile. Her assistant Andrea is just as caring. Often when I have an appointment,I am in so much pain. They try to comfort me before I get my injection.
I experienced shoulder pain from years of playing raquetball. Dr. Levenda listened to my story and knew right away what I was describing. He explained his process to my wife's satisfaction and the surgery was a success. I am back on the quart playing as well a I can for my age.
He was was such a nice guy. I could tell he really cared about my knee problems. I've been having knee pain and clicking in my knee since I was a teenager. I won't go into the details, but he knew exactly what it was and with some simple therapy I am now doing great! Ladies, you can really trust this doctor.
I have seen Dr. Levenda for both my knee and shoulder. He has always been very gracious with his time when I have a question or am not sure of his diagnosis. I appreciate the fact that he is on time, even though it might be nice if he spent some more time with me I know he has hundreds of patients who are waiting to see him every week so I'm just glad that I can get in to see him. His time may be limited, but his evaluations have been spot on for me and he is on time.
I felt rushed and I felt that because I wasn't an athlete, I did not get taken seriously. Again - I felt like he rushed through my visit.
Great doctor. Straight forward and doesn't sugar coat diagnosis. Honest with how he tells you the outcome of your surgery will be. Did 2 shoulder surgeries on me. Will defiantly use him for anything else I may need. Also he has treated my wife and son. Trusted dr. Gruszka fully with my loved ones.
