Dr. Ranatunga is a fantastic doctor. She is very caring and take what ever time necessary to discuss your treatment with you. She is not afraid to seek input from others in complicated situations. I recommend Dr. Ranatunga to anyone seeking a first class Rheumatologist. I have a rare complicated disease which she has managed for many years.
I have been seeing her for several years now, and she has been my most personable doctor I have ever had. When my blood work looked questionable, she would always take the time to personally call me.
I was referred to this doctor to get her opinion of my having fibromyalgia. She pressed on the places or trigger points and since I didn't feel significant pain she told me that I definitely didn't have fibromyalgia and that all my back pain came from my having large breasts. She spend about 20 minutes with me. She was very rude and dismissive. I would not recommend her to anyone. She is not kind and caring.
Dr. Larson was very kind in her approach and treatment. I have had a lot of surgery on my face for skin cancers in the last few years and she is top on my list of doctors.
After 20 years of unsuccessful diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Bottum became my physician and accurately diagnosed and currently treats my condition. She has been successfully caring for me for 10 years. The correct diagnosis coupled with proper, monitored medications have been my salvation. Periodically, she has recommended periods of working with a behavioral therapist in cognitive type therapy. Available in her practice.
Dismissive and rude. Doesn't care to listen.
Very poor diagnosis and treatment plan. Misguide you to make money and maintain his sussuess rate. He will show you higher sussuess rate. It is because he cherry picks the patients. He will tell you that his rate is higher than best clinics in Chicago and St. Louise. The reason is he doesn't accept difficult patients. Rigjtaway he will discourage you and will give you 0% chance. Totally wrong. After being with him for a long time,I have changed my Dr. And my very 1st treatment was sussessful.
Absolutely the very best bedside manor and care I've received from any Dr and I'm so thankful for her.
I had an esophagus varices exam discovering I will need banding to stop the bleeding. Dr. Yang discussed the procedure, risk involved, and recovery time. Excellent doctor!
I'm a disabled veteran that has been treated at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu Hawaii. The doctors at Tripler are like veterinarians, liking proper bed side manners treating the veterans like live stock instead of human beings! Wonder if the Doctors/Officers at Tripler ever think some day they too will be old?
