Caring and knowledgeable.
Manipulative, dishonest, limited fund of knowledge. Has a "doctor-centered" vision of the patient-doctor relationship. Avoid.
Dr. Jamie Brewer is an amazing young doctor. Her manner with patients is impeccable. I have been seeing her for about nine months now. She has been my go to for my medical oncology. If they could clone her that would be wonderful. The medical community would only be so lucky.
Excellent listener, validated symptoms, proactive in seeking beneficial treatment for infection, thorough, caring, knowledgeable. Very reassured by his competence, experience, and commitment to scheduling the treatment I needed quickly. Stopped by to check on me the day of the procedure that was going to be performed by a colleague - encouraged me and wished me well - very glad I was getting the help I needed. Excellent doctor and healer. An advocate for my health. I could not be more pleased.
He was great with my son and made him comfortable. He also explained everything so that we can understand what was going on. .... he's awesome. ..??
Dr. Cohen and team discovered my rare conditions and researched a treatment plan that put me into remission.
Dr.Bennett is a wonderful doctor. If every doctor strives to be as caring and generous as he is , the world would be filled with smiles and laughter instead of pain and sorrow.I had reconstructive foot surgery on 12/20/16 the healing process is going well.I received high quality professional care.I would recommend his service to any one that need orthopedic care.
A very good doctor.Very kind to answer all my questions.
Dr. Nguyen has helped me greatly with my depression and anxiety. Straight and to the point kind of guy which is what I like. Always responds timely to my phone calls and has great hours that fit my schedule.
Left our initital consultation in tears - seems to be either very unempathetic or naive. Tried his medication, which worsened my depression, & when I called to tell him about this he said to discontinue it.. I kept trying what he gave me bc it kept me from waking up vomiting with heart palpitations.
Thanksgiving set me on a very fast downward spiral. That wknd I severely hurt myself, so I called him and STILL haven't heard back 6 days.
This is the most suicidal I've been in 7yrs, thanks doc!
I had a colonoscopy today at Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove and Dr. Northern was my anesthesiologist. He was very cordial yet direct and sympathetic. I fell asleep almost as fast as I woke up, full of energy and ready to run my day. I know everyone responds differently to anesthesia, but he really did a great job administering just the right amount of medication. I have been under anesthesia before, and this has by far been a great experience. Thank you, doctor! You made my day.
If you value you children and there health and safety do not take them to see Dr randhawa. She is a Dr that will threaten you and will not listen she puts her own medical opinion above the safety of her child patients.
She is an outstanding doctor - truly knowledgable and willing to spend enough time answering all your questions and address your concerns. She was my hospital doctor and I really value her treatment plan and suggestions.
If you have cancer she may be the doctor for you, but first seek out other options.
This office lacks organizational skills- everything is everyone else's job and no one takes initiative to get the task done. This doctor lacks compassion- which when you have a life threatening disease- that is not who you would want to see.
She doesn't check with your other providers-even at the same hospital before she tries adjusting your medications. She lacks sympathy and has poor bedside manner.
Horrible very rude
Went in for a routine annual check-up. No issues needing immediate attention were found. Doctor has great patient-centered approach and I am glad I was able to see him.
Dr. Saidel is very professional, personable, easy to talk to and explains conditions and treatment options well. Office staff were very nice and easy to work with. Overall, an excellent experience.
The exam was good. The tech was thorough and she explained a lot of questions I had. Dr Saidel was great. He went over all my questions and was very professional.
Dr. Saidel was extremely knowledgeable, professional and immediately addressed my problem.
First visit. Dr. Seidel was great. Extremely thorough and very personable.
Punctual, professional, answered questions, felt comfortable. Overall a good experience, would do it again.
Dr. Saad is friendly&nice to meet with. However, he is busy doing colonoscopies most of the time and is very limited in the available appointments. The office staff is very unreliable, does not call back. Youaretold by thereceptionist that you will be called back.... youjust wait forweeks. Butsince there is no one person assigned to Dr. Saad you don't know who is responsible for this lack of response.Sometimes it is a serious problem and you are in pain.... Dr. Saad is probably just asfrustrated
Was nice meeting everybody--- lots of smiles-- we will be back!!!!
Overall a great experience. I arrived at the wrong time and was still seen even though I was 30 minutes late. Very professional and courteous staff. I will definitely keep them as my regular source for eye exams.
Dr Saidel did an excellent job. He was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Staff was pleasant. Overall a good experience.
Eye exam (both vision and medical). I was completely satisfied with the experience and the results of the exam.
As usual the precheck was thorough and professional. I met Dr. Saidel for the first time. I found him personal and though as well.
Amazing Doctor. Young bright extraordinary , confident and extremely talented. Every visit is consistent, he listens, pays attention, explains everything so we all can understand. We noticed happy office staff also. A very rare find. We were so luicky to find him.
More doctors need to be like Dr. Salvador. He is very hands on and explains every he is doing. We really need more doctors like this.
He listened and answered all my questions. He was very pleasant and provided excellent care. I met him for the first time at the hospital prior to my procedure.
I would highly recommend Dr. Gorrepati. He was very personable, patient and insightful. He took the time to really listen,as well as explain the treatment process, and I therefore trust that he will make thoughtful decisions about my care. In addition, I managed to schedule a same day appointment easily, which was amazing, as it is often difficult for people dealing with mental health issues to follow up on appointments in the "distant" future.
Dr. Groner is an amazing doctor - very kind and professional. He is neutral in his assessments, focuses on the facts and takes his role seriously. We were introduced in a very difficult time, where he diagnosed a severe cardiac defect. We terminated that pregnancy and were pregnant 10 weeks later. I directly contacted him and he reached out and personally called me and answered all my questions. He did my echo which was good this time. I trust him and think he is an outstanding physician.
Dr. Hornick is treating my father for a brain bleed. Not only has he given us incredible results, but he is extremely informative and showes amazing concern for my dad and our family. We are blessed to have him.
Dr Hussain did my gastric bypass. I met him one time before the surgery during an initial visit. On the day of my surgery he did not bother to visit me but sent a resident instead. He did not visit me after the surgery. It was 6pm the following night before I saw him again. When I have seen him I've felt like a bug specimen in a jar. He's just not very friendly to patients - or other staff. Beyond a very poor bedside manner, the surgery seems to have gone well.
You don't go visit a neurologist for fun. You're going through a tough situation, and honestly I've never had a doctor empathize with that as much as Dr. Hornik did for me and my wife.
Had my surgery 4 years ago. Great doctor explained everything to me went over the process with me and call me back or email me
Has the proper tests performed for new patients to establish a good baseline. Great bedside manner. Very knowledgeable.
Dr. Jaskowiak is everything you want a doctor to be. She is highly competent, extremely knowledgeable, an excellent surgeon and highly responsive. Being in the most of vulnerable positIons, I have never felt in more capable hands. I trust her implicitly. Traffic is bad from UC to the suburbs, but the long drive home from visits of over 3 hours was/is no doubt worth it.
Dr. Jaskowiak is one of the very best medical doctors I have ever seen in my 77 years for any ailment. She is competent and caring and exceedingly responsive. I emailed her on a Saturday for a second opinion. She responded within 5 minutes from a conference in Brazil and scheduled an appointment the day of her return. She would call me herself with significant lab test results even on a Friday evening well after 6 pm. If all docs were of her quality US medicine would be in far better shape.
He is very thorough and knowledgeable about sleep problems. He didn't miss a thing.
I worked with Dr. Jackubowiak for many years while treating patients with Multiple Myeloma. He is the most caring, compassion and competent physician I have ever known. His knowledge and dedication to patient's with MultipleMyelomais second to none. He cares for patient's now and in the future through his incredible research experience, insightfulness and pure drive to put an end to this disease.
Dr. Angelos is one of the most caring physician's I have met. He did an excellent job on my parathyroid surgery. I did have to wait at my appointment, but it was worth the time! His nurse, Laura is also fantastic!
If I could, I would give Dr. Angelos 10 stars! That should tell you everything. I had such a successful surgery and very little pain. Kudos to a marvelous surgeon!
Although Dr. Anitescu may be at the top of her field, my visit with her was most dissatisfactory. I was initially told there was nothing that the pain clinic could do for my chronic pain and that I would have to live with it for the rest of my life. It was only when I told her I held a MA in education and that she could speak to me recognizing that I am intelligent that I was offered a pain block which is what neurology said I possibly needed. This was my worst experience at U of C.
He was phenomenal with my thyroidectomy surgery. The incision could not have been more perfect and no pain relief was needed. Simply amazing.
I went to Dr. Angelos for a second opinion on my thyroid cancer. I'm so glad I did! Even though he agreed with the first opinion that a total thyroidectomy is needed, he also suggested a pre-surgery ultrasound of my entire neck. This uncovered a couple more suspicious lymph nodes which were removed during the thyroidectomy. He was also upfront about the risks and thoroughly explained my condition including visual aids.
Horrible! I signed consent for anesthesia. Cox advised on entry to the room, the anesthesiologt didn't show.I wasn't given time to respond before the object to hold my mouth open was forced in my mouthe. He proceeded to force the endoscope down my throat with me screaming NO, yelling STOP! Nurses held me down while he continued to force the scope down my throat, I strangled on vomit. I never agreed not to have anesthesia a doctor should never proceed with a patient screaming No!
Had pelvic floor repair. Saw her on first post operative said every thing okay. Second visit saw PA. I explained concern that symptoms worse than before surgery. PA said swelling from surgery causing issue and once healed normal bowel function would return. 6 months later Made appointment with Dr because issue worse than before surgery. Waited 50 minutes for her but she was running behind had to see the PA again who told me still some swelling and would let doctor know. Doctor never followed up
Dr. Deimel is a very good doctor. Before I was referred to him, I went to other doctors. I had surgery with him and everything went great. His staff are caring as well and he will take the time to explain.
Saw dr diemel regularly for 6 months with torn miniscus and sprained mcl supposedly, until he finally told me I needed to see another surgeon and needed total knee replacement! Lost my job and insurance due to so many months wasted! I would not recommend him to anyone for even a splinter!!!!!
Dr. Crump spent about 30 minutes with my husband and I and said we would have to come back for another appointment if we had additional questions since he would have to charge us. For his 30 minute consultantion we were charged over $1,100. Big waste of time and money! Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
Arrogant and incompetent. Would not go back to him nor recommend him to friends or family.
He literally showed me the door because I wouldn't consent to an impromptu biopsy. Never had an abnormal pap and wasn't there for suspicion of cancer. He literally walked out of the room and told me to come back when I get some guts. He also said that biopsies are mandatory hospital protocol. I've never seen a hospital that requires all patients to have biopsies in search of cancer. Very odd. I would never go back.
Horrible and arrogant! I was was sent to him by an upper extremities doctor. My MRI of the shoulder should a torn rotor cuff and inflammation (arthritis) and he didn't listen to a word I said. I was telling him that I heard my shoulder pop and send a tingling sensation from my neck all the way down to my toes. All he did was up my dosage for the anti inflammatory from 7mg to 50 mg. 2 months later and I am now set for surgery for the torn rotator cuff and diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 24
Doctor Deimel has been outstanding both as a surgeon and during after care. We are very impressed with him!
Dr. Khan does not care about her patients health issues. She does not listen to her patients and keeps her appointments VERY SHORT, thus requiring additional future appointments for the same issues. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!!
Not only is she very smart, but she really cares about you and wants you to achieve a healthy lifestyle. She enters the room fully up to speed with her patient. I'm amazed with her ability to connect with us (her patients). She did not miss her calling...she's a great doctor!
The staff was friendly, the doctor was on time and explained everything. I am thinking about starting allergy shots next month.
We visited the satellite office at Canal St. Dr. Harth were very thorough. She explained in details our options and patiently listening to our questions and concerns. She's very knowledgable of all options and went to extra miles to offer discussion with other expertise in the hospital.
Very poor bedside manner.
LATE, LATE, LATE!!! Waited over 45min, for a scheduled appt. only to be told by nurse that she was running late AND there were THREE more patients ahead of me waiting to be seen ... Not even an apology, On a separate ocassion, waited for approx. 30 min. In exam room ... she forgot I was there. Does not return phone calls in a timely manner. Had to request test results. On yet another appt. had to jump through hoops to get a hold of her to send in a RX Very difficult to contact in an emergency
Extremely caring and intelligent individual. Hands down has what it takes to tackle your disease with you every step of the way.
The best doctor ever! Very through and no hurried visits with him. He listens and that is the most important quality about him to me. Just an overall nice person. My Doc for life.
Though you might have a bit of waiting time on the day of your appointment, rest assured, Dr. Ferguson will spend whatever time necessary to explain and discuss your concerns. He answers every question with full respect and sensitivity….so don't NOT ask this doctor a question because you think it's unimportant. I'm a lung cancer survivor and I owe my excellent health for the last seven years to Mark Ferguson and my other University of Chicago physicians who really work together as a team.
Dr Finn didnmy double hip replacement surgery in August 2015. I cannot tell you how happy I am with his work and his team. Very professional and always helpful.
I had a knee replaced back in March 2016. Operation was sucessful, the staff at Wiess Memorial could not be match anyway. Dr Finn explained everything and all the the things he said were right on. My knee has come around to almost normal of course I can not run, but I walk perfectly
Dr Finn is among the very best Orthopaedic Surgeons in the world. I have seen some of the best including Steadman at Steadman Clinic Vail, and I would choose Henry Finn to do any orthopaedic surgery in future. His body of knowledge, decades of experience, decisiveness and common sense is a winning combination.
In my own opinion he's the greatest doctor I have ever been to.he did me great with my knee and hip surgery
Surgery went well. Hospital staff at Weiss great. Checked with my insurance before surgery to be sure Weiss in my network. It was . I did not check to see if Dr. Finn WAS in my network. Even though his picture is on the walls, has an office at Weiss, I see him at Weiss, he is not in there network. Got stuck with an out of network bill for 9000.00 after surgery. Feel scammed. Never thought or told about this. Mad. Based on this I would not recommend him.
Dr. Ferguson is brilliant! My mom had stage III lung cancer and was given no hope for treatment to work from her other doctors. Dr. Ferguson saved my mom's life! We are so grateful for him and his team!
I did not care for Dr Finn or any of his team. He seemed like he really didn't care about me still having issues after he did surgery on me. He told my regular GP that he has fixed me and he did find one thing that was wrong, but I am not fixed unfortunately. I still have awful pain. My regular GP has taken over treating me because Dr Finn hasn't even approved additional physical therapy or answered any of my therapists questions, and they are certain I have an allergy to the replacement.
He and his staff are exceptionally capable and accessible. I suffered from avascular necrosis, resulting in my femur being shortened and a full knee replacement. I had 4 other '2nd opinions'. He was by far the person to choose. It's now 5 years later, and Dr. Finn, Betty and staff have kept me walking again and a normal life. I recommend him to many all without hesitation.
Dr. Ferguson saved my mothers life - Cancer in the lung. He took out 3/4 of her lung at mid 70's and she is still cancer free. We highly recommend this Dr. very compassionate and straight to the point. Really Cares for his Patients
He is insulting and rude.
I went to see Dr. Finn in May 2015 due to severe groin pain. Had sciatic surgery in June of 2014 and after recuperating my pain just kept getting worse! Tried pain management, physical therapy shots and nothing worked. Dr. Finn was recommended to me and he scheduled me for surgery immediately. My hip was bone on bone and getting worse everyday. I thank God for leading me to him. Its been 6mos and getting better everyday. Have numbness on my thigh but better than the severe pain I was in before!
This guy is the worst doctor I've ever know and extremely arrogant and vindictive.
do not talk at me. Talk to me.
Dr. Gokhale was instrumental in saving my life 20 years ago. I was 14 mos. old and was close to organ shut down from GI bleeding. Her loving care, concern and decision making made a frightening outcome turn around - I am now in college, have played college football and lacrosse and will graduate next year with a Finance degree. My parents and I give all credit to Dr. Ranjana Gokhale.
Spent a great amount of time with my daughter. Spoke to her, not around her or about her. Explained everything very well.
Dr garcia gonzales is a wonderful doctor who cares for my daughter who has rare retinal problems with her eyes. He is always very courteous and makes my daughter and myself feel at ease. I wouldn't trust my babies vision with anyone else. Thank you Dr garcia!
Ridiculous wait times & heinous bedside manner. After 2 bad visits, I'm done. Didn't say ONE word to my husband, not even hello, & barely spoke to me. Didn't notice swelling until I pointed it out & brushed me off to a pricy MRI set for days later w/ no plan for pain relief outside of the OTC med I was already taking. Got 2nd opinion next day with diagnosis & medicine. A serious condition that was luckily caught early Would have been at least a week of tests & visits if I didnt get a 2nd opinion
Great doctor. Very dedicated to his patients.
I like him,he is very friendly and patient...
He is a phenomenal doctor
Expert on Neurofibromatosis
Dr. Marsh is an amazing doctor. Very thorough with everything from check ups to answering questions. She has a great sense of humor too. Very down to earth. My baby's heart rate was higher than normal range at my last prenatal check up, just days before she was born, and Dr. Marsh put me on a monitor and sent me over to lobor and delivery to be further monitored. Throughout my pregnancy she made sure every single thing was OK with me. She even gave me a heart to heart, woman to woman.
Worst follow up ever. Rude - dismissive- clearly interested in building her career and not patient care! Worst ever. Don't care what her credentials are - she is horrible at patient care.
Wouldn't trust her with my worst enemy.
Dr. Kiragu is very professional, kind, and really cares about his patients. He does not rush in give his opinion and rush out. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, analyze them, he gives his opinion and asks for your feedback (which is not normal for doctors these days) most have a this is what I say so do it attitude. He is a great doctor, Wilson is so blessed to have him and I am very thankful to have him as my Primary Care physician.
He just called. The guy just called me, HIMSELF, to check how I was doing. Doctors do that? And he was, get this, FRIENDLY. I almost didn't know how to react. I haven't had a doctor call to check up on me since I had a pediatrician. And I've had doctors who have made a whole heck of a lot more money off of my set of injuries than with this recent hip surgery, which he executed and explained flawlessly, by the way. Those other doctors never cared to call yet Dr. Damien Kosempa did.
Dr. Terras is extremely attentive, responds quickly to emails/calls, and demonstrates her authentic care and concern for her patients. She has made accommodations to complete a visit via the phone when I was having trouble with anxiety and couldn't make it into the office due to work. She is absolutely the best physician I have ever seen!
Doctors are supposedly important people, but unfortunatley most are overrated and
the patient always gets a huge bill in the mail regardless or not if the services were worth much in the first place. When you buy a car new or used it comes with a guranteee, if not satisfied you can return it, but with medical services, if you're not satisfied, you're screwed.
I didn't like the answers Dr. Toolan gave me but he was spot on. He recommended against surgery and gave me a course of treatment that worked.
He is,the finest foot and ankle surgeon ever.....skilled, kind, thorough...everything anyone would want in a dictor, in a surgeon....THE BEST
Dr. Toolan has been an excellent surgeon. I think my surgery went really well and I'm very happy with the overall outcome. His has a really awesome nurse, Jackie, who is very responsive and super nice. I have had not had any issues getting questions answered or feeling like I wasn't getting enough face time with the doctor.
Dr. Vij is the most caring and analytical doctor I have ever experienced. I was in very guarded condition in ICU at UofC and she brought me through the ordeal albeit over 2 years very cautiously, but effective. This doctor shows she cares and is very bright about her specialty therefore communicating very well with her patients. We had ups and downs and I knew she had control of everything and we'd make decisions together, not just dictate and leave the room. I think the world of her!
I wish I could give 100 stars to Dr. Sentongo. He saved our daughter who was having terrible GI problems that necessitated surgeries. We were off track, with no confidence in our GI and searching for answers. We finally found Dr. Sentongo and instantly we knew we were in good hands. We are close to ending our time with Dr. Sentongo as our little girl is doing so well. Words cannot explain how grateful we are to him.
Dr. Patti was primarily concerned with correcting my problem using the least invasive procedure. I am 78 years old, I have recovered and in 100% better condition. He is by far the best at what he does. He takes the time to ensure you of every detail from beginning to follow up. I am fortunate and blessed to have him.
Pitrak triages case to Infectious Disease Section, but forced me to wait THREE MONTHS for consult despite five requests going into consult service. I weighed mere 100 lbs when I finally obtained appointment. Would not return phone calls. Staff abusive.
Dr. Sisko is now part of the Pittsburgh Bone and Joint group in Jefferson Hills, Pa. He specializes in joint replacements. He was the third Doctor I went to for knee pain in my replaced knee and the only one that told me what was wrong and then fixed it. I had a total knee revision and the pain was not as bad as the first knee replacement that I had. He has a great bedside manner and is very thorough. I wouls recommend him highly.
My daughter needed to see a Pediatric Cardiologist so we saw Dr. Williams at the Elmhurst location. I can't say enough about her and her office staff!! From the minute we walked in and were greeted by the friendly front desk staff and nurse, we felt very comfortable and at ease right away. Dr. Williams is personable, very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time for any questions we had as well. Amazing doctor and staff. I highly recommend Dr. Paula Williams!
I Needed another opinion,so I chose Dr. Warnke Primarily for my that pain shoots down my neck and through my hands. I'm dropping everything glass, knives, from my hands, and tripping and falling. I had a fusion to my neck 3 months prior. He was only interested in the SRS RADIATION OF MY TRIGEMINOL TUMOR. That SRS CAUSED MY TEETH TO FALL OUT! $8000 later I'm still paying. RADIATION CHANGES YOUR SALIVA. DONT RADIATE NON CANEROUS TUMORS. UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! he is RUDE TO STAFF
She has a very poor bedside manner and acts like she is a God....Ms. Williams, you are not God.
Excellent physician. Explains and answer all questions in a non rushed manner. Takes the time to make sure you understand the plan of care.
She does really great work. She takes her time and really explains everything to you. Thanks for everything you have done for my family.
Dr. Parker was my wife's doctor and he was the most wonderful doctor my wife every had before she passed away. he always gave her his un divided attention and the right advise.
I recommend this doctor to anyone who needs a good doctor because he is the best in my book. whenever she needed him he was always on call and visited her wherever she was in the hospital. she called and he came to her. he explained everything to the best of his ability.
in my opinion he is the best.
I visited Dr. Nwaneshiudu for a sore that wouldn't heal (she is now with UT Health in San Antonio). Warm and courteous, she explained the biopsy procedure very clearly and executed it quickly and with minimum discomfort to me. She seems very knowledgable and competent, and I would not hesitate to recommend her.
I am so happy that I had Dr. Nunes as my physician; he's so Nice, Knowledgeable, Gifted and Reassuring with the best decision making ability at the best time! Words are not enough to express how appreciative I am!
On March 4, 2017, my 20 year old daughter, Tiffany was rushed to the Lutheran General Hospital(Park Ridge, Il) emergency room from work with severe abdominal pain and dizziness. She was very scared and in excruciating pain. Dr. Joseph Ogarek was the attending ER doctor that evening and was nothing short of outstanding. His bedside manner was awesome, making my daughter laugh and easing her mind at the same time. He approached her situation as if it was one of his own family members!
Wonderful, knowledgeable, kind, comforting and answers all questions without a feeling of rushing you out of the office. I have pre cancer on my face and I was so scared walking into his office, and just fine walking out. He explained in lay terms my situation, the plan of how my pre cancer would be addressed and treated and really let me know that he was in this with me. Promptly responds to my questions/comments emails on NorthShore connect . By the way his plan is 100% success!
Dr. Nunes is the best!! He has delivered multiple friends babies and we are so happy he is our doctor during our first pregnancy. He is extremely intelligent, caring, always on time, and great about answering any and all questions we have had. We have and will continue recommending him to friends.
Before Dr. Nwaneshiudu, I had seen four other dermatologists for my severe cystic acne. The other doctors were not helpful, did not give me a thorough examination, and just wanted to put me on Acutane. Dr. Nwaneshiudu took the time to examine my acne, listen to everything I tried, and did not recommend Acutane as the first treatment. She explored topical and oral treatments, which after two months of treatment, I do not have any active cysts! She absolutely changed my life! She is incredible!
Saw Dr. Zachary and was very impressed with his staff and him. Hoping to get approval for removal of an apron of skin after losing 115 lbs.
