Dr Volety has been my PCP for over 15 years. She has always listened to my concerns and involved me in managing my health care. She is responsive to intermittent questions I pose on the portal, attentive to making sure that I meet health care preventive measures, and is aware of the care rendered to me across the Health System.

She doesn’t have a good bedside manner, rude and takes forever to get back to you about test results. One time I went in with a horrible ear ache thinking my antibiotics weren’t working and making me sick. She said my ears were clear and to basically “tough it out the rest of the medication.” I went back to the immediate care the next day, less than 24 hours later, and he confirmed I had really red ears, double ear infection and the antibiotic wasn’t working. I’ve never had a good experience with her and I try my hardest to not see her if I don’t need to. I was transferred to her after my GP moved.

I ended up with cellulitis on my right leg on a Monday. I went to urgent care they were wonderful but didn't know exactly what it was. They traced it with a marker. Tuesday it spread and it hurt to stand on my right side. I called my primary and couldn't see me but got me in later in the day with Volety. She walked in stood at the counter and said you have cellulitis and you need to give the antibiotics time to work. I was freaked out that it hurt and was spreading. She never looked at my leg. She said if it's not better by Thursday to come back but don't make it so late and to keep it elevated. She seemed annoyed with me That I was getting in her way of making it an early day. The appointment was like at 3:30p. She was rude and showed no concern at all. I ended up calling off work the next two days because I was feverish and it hurt to walk on it. I called (Wednesday)and left a message to give update on my symptoms and if I could get a dr note for work. I finally got a call back on Sa

Not a thorough doctor. Had an appointment with him to discuss mental health and to be referred to a psychologist and he decided to diagnose me without me further explaining more symptoms that I was having. The over all feeling that I got from him is that I was wasting his time because he "knows what's going on and doesnt need any further explanation" and that he wanted me to get in and out as soon as possible. I get that doctors are busy and have tight schedules but I shouldn't feel like a burden about something I need help.

Yes, I recommend Dr. Volety. She is conscientious and kind. Dr. Volety cares about her patients' health and well-being. She will help a patient with cholesterol issues, explain blood test results, order x-rays, listen and advise, make referrals. Awful. She is inconsistent and has prescribed me the wrong medication more than once. The pharmacist at Walgreens identified the issue, and then it took her over a week to write me the correct prescription. I often go out of my daily medication for days at a time because it takes her so long to write my refill prescription. She has no social skills and could care less about me as a patient.

I am thoroughly satisfied with Dr. Martinez and would not see another doctor for my general needs. Very compassionate to my needs, and very thorough in listening and asking about my problems. The best benefit of seeing Dr. Martinez is that he is always punctual with his appointment times. I generally show up 20 minutes prior to my appointment time and am always called back before my appointment time and seen by him at my appointment time.

Worst Dr I’ve ever had. Doesn’t listen and address true concerns. Prescribed medication I’m allergic to after being repeatedly told no. Twice I’ve had CAt Scans for specific issues and the issue was never addressed or resolved. Done with this so called doctor!

She's terrible. She ignores my mother's symptoms, and now my mom has stage 3 kidney failure & congestive heart failure, something the ER had to find out, because the doctor won't address her swollen ankles (which now are swollen legs up to her knees). All she wants to do is throw more blood pressure medication at her. She also keeps coughing and Volety said It's due to her past smoking history when she hasn't smoked in years. The ER found it she has pulmonary edema. I can't wait to switch!
