Dr. Pulluru has been my doctor for many years & you will not find a better orthopedic doctor. He repaired my shoulder several years ago & I have been pain free since. I was told by another doctor that there was nothing wrong with my shoulder & I was exaggerating my pain. Dr Pulluru not only found out the source of my pain but repaired it & I continue to be pain free since. He is very compassionate & caring about his patients. He is always exploring ways to improve on his techniques & will work diligently to help all those who seek his help. I highly recommend him to all of my friends & family & anyone who asks for my opinion.

I was assigned Dr. Pulluru for my workers comp injury. I had torn my right shoulder in April of 2021. June 28th 2021 I had surgery. It is now Dec 2021 and the improvement I've had since then is absolutely remarkable. Dr. Pulluru is a very patient oriented Dr. He made sure to answer all my questions, ease any anxiety I had about my recovery. I had built a very good relationship with him over these past months. Unfortunately, he is leaving the practice there in Naperville. But he recommended me to another Dr. in Naperville. My next follow up in Jan will be with him. Honestly, I could recommend him to anyone that has any orthopedic issues with any joints to see him. He gave me a brand new shoulder. Now it's up to me to get it moving and strong again like it used too.

If you’re looking for an orthopedic that will charge you 50 dollars to stick his thumb in your shoulder and tell you to go see a different orthopedic doctor, then this is the guy for you. He’s cocky and thinks he knows everything, since he invented putting a thumb in your shoulder. He said that he’d get in trouble if I mentioned that he refused to do my surgery and instead sent me to some other guy who trained under him, so I hope he does, and I hope he loses his job for thinking he could mess with me :)

Performed should labral repair and am now left with a unstable shoulder that does not work right. Everything I do with the affected arm feels off. Spent 2 years in physical therapy before I just gave up and learned to live with what is essentially a misaligned joint that pulls my entire vertebrae out of alignment. I received a message from him requesting my status and if I would be willing to meet with him so he could document the procedure he performed for a research study. I answered his preliminary questions honestly and gave him my availability and he never responded. Guess he only wanted to interview the successful outcomes for what I am guessing is the "new" surgical technique/method he performed on me for the paper he is publishing. I would have preferred that he had just performed the surgery using techniques with proven outcomes or at least have been given a choice. Instead I was a lab rat for this shyster. Stay away from this guy.

I visited Dr. Pulluru last year for a second opinion on my 10 years old shoulder issue that was ruining the quality of my life but was told that there is nothing else that can be done. I have had 2 rotator cuff surgeries and a cervical disk replacement to address the same issue which was spreading over both shoulders and neck. Dr Pulluru was the first specialist I have ever had to spent a great amount of time evaluating my condition from every single angle before recommending another surgery. Due to my prior experiences, I was very reluctant to have another surgery and did not contact him for more than 6 months when my pain was unbearable. Suffice is to say, I have never had a more successful surgery and resolution of my issue. The diagnosis was spot on and it was the least painful shoulder surgery i have ever had. I have got my shoulders back and I no longer have to live with my endless pain. Dr. Pulluru is definitely the best in orthopedic medicine and I am very grateful for his help

I have been a patient with DMG Orthopedics for 10 years. I saw Dr. Pulluru in 2020 for a knee injury and was talked at. Against my better judgment I trusted this doctor and followed his direction for rehabilitation. I ended up requesting my own MRI and having a major knee surgery 1 year later with a different group and doctor due to the lack of whole health care and proper diagnosis. Do yourself a favor, there are far better orthopedic doctors who truly care about your health and wellbeing. He is not one of them. Make sure you are an advocate for yourself and trust your gut, don't let them tell you different.

So far, I have been impressed. I have had pain in my shoulder blade for years. MRIs and xrays come back normal. I have tried physical therapy will no success. Dr. Pulluru listened well and gave me hope that surgery could help. I did not get this from other doctors.

1000 letter very difficult to explain my satisfaction. I got hurt at work over a year ago. Seen Doctor Pulluru gave me injections and therapy. 3 months I was back to work couple weeks later few more injections. February I injured same shoulder slipping on ice. This time it was worse besides smashing my side and face cracking teeth. I felt like a ice pick went into my shoulder blade. Dr Pulluru is great. He educated me how the shoulder and muscles work on my shoulder. He suggested surgery I spoke to few people, talk to work. I went to my regular Doctor he told me whatever Pulluru says I should do because he’s one of the best. Work gave the ok I had the surgery. Guess what pain is totally gone totally . Now I’m still doing therapy about 70% of strength have not done anything that could injure it again. My only issue is recovery it takes a while to heal and lots of therapy. 4 to 6 months . I would do it again . In fact Pulluru will be my #1 Doctor forever. He actually cares .

Raghu R Pulluru was excellent. He showed a lot of compassion and was genuinely concerned for my well being. I injured my left shoulder at work and the X-Ray & MRI came back normal. However, I was still experiencing pain in the injured area while using my arm in my day to day life specially during strenuous activities. I was very frustrated because physical therapy wasn’t helping, nobody would believe me and I was starting to lose hope that my problem would never get resolved. I was recommended to see Dr. Raghu R Pulluru who specializes in MRI’s that come back normal and he had created a set of tests that set him apart from other doctors all over the world. He created these test because most MRIs aren’t able to pick up this type of shoulder instability. The tests confirmed the diagnosis of posterior shoulder instability which has caused me so much pain and suffering and I’m very grateful & fortunate for Dr. Pulluru’s great work, experience and knowledge to bring awareness to this issue

I know Dr. Walsh retired but he gave me a new hip in 2014. He did such a wonderful job that I forget I had it done. Unfortunately, I fell down the garage steps trying to carry a lot of groceries in. I am totally OK but I have a Hematoma the size of a soft-ball. Good Luck to you, and it was my pleasure. You'll love being retired! I am!

I asked my PCP to recommend an Orthopedic surgeon. He responded Kevin Walsh. I needed surgery to re-attach my left quadricep to my patella. During my first visit, I asked Dr. Walsh how many similiar surgeries he had performed. "Thousands," he said. The day of the surgery I was transported by a volunteer by wheelchair to the pre-surgical suite. She asked, "Who's your doctor?" I said "Kevin Walsh." "He's my doctor," the 86 year old volunteer responded. He replaced both of my hips and one knee, she said, as she danced a little jig in front of me.

I looked at several reviews for hip surgeons, Dr Lombardi had amazing reviews so I booked my appt. I had severe pain for over two years and didn’t want to have a major surgery, he reassured me this would be the best and only option to get rid of the pain. I booked the surgery. Before surgery I had a trip to the ER, the people working there know him and could not say enough good things about him, I also talked with a few other people that know of him and also had amazing things to say about him, how kind, friendly, and knowledgeable he is, which made me feel confident I made the right choice and would be well taken care of. His explanations of surgery and the recovery were outstanding. He has amazing bed side manor. I’m 6 weeks after surgery and I’m doing awesome, Dr Lombardi has given me my life back and I am so grateful to him. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Lombardi, amazing surgeon, wonderful person!!

Thought I needed a TKR but Dr.L advised my hip was in bad shape and might not allow me to rehab the knee. I had the hip done with minimal pain and was amazed at pain reduction in knee. Have since had TKR and his advice on rehab was spot on.
