Review of Dr. Martin

- in Urbandale , IA |

He is great! He cares, explains well, and asks about my other problems. He even asks about whether I am taking any trips and checks with other doctors. I go to the Mayo Clinic, but not for a G.I. because he is so dependable and no one at Mayo’s have ever suggested I do otherwise.

At the first meeting i was super excited, he seemed like he wanted to help. After the colonoscopy he said it was due to pore muscle tone, which may be part of it. but not the main issue. I had to push to get another test. Then he just wanted to recheck symptoms in 3 months. no plan of action, no incites to help, nothing.

I am leaving this coming after dealing with Khristin 3 times. I found her old and rather busy typing into her computer. Asking questions without eye contact. Finally stopped typo g to answer a question. Recently I called for help because of chemo and issues involving my ibsd. Her replay was she did not know what cancer I had or what chemo. That she would not help. Leave it up to the oncologist. And always through a nurse had to be my contact. Jane Wargo

Review of Dr. Roberts

-Adair County, IA |

My first visit went fine. After that Dr Roberts refused to refill medicine for acid reflux because I would not schedule a colonoscopy. What does one have to do with the other???? So, I switched Doctors and now Dr Roberts' office says they can not release my St Louis records to my new doctor. I authorized release of the St Louis records to Dr Roberts. I authorized Dr Roberts' office to release ALL records including the St Louis records to the new doctor. Why should this be so difficult????

If you are dealing with an unusual health issue, seek out a different provider. You will need one who uses critical thinking and creative problem solving to analyze your unique situation in a helpful way. Otherwise, our experience seemed like we were thrown into a pipeline without much support or answers. Our questions were received poorly. Any indication that you are frustrated or don't understand her will result in being admonished and made to feel like misbehaving child.

Did not listen to chief concern. Had her do a colonoscopy twice, four years apart from same problems.... and she did not listen again. Her letter to me said "I don't know the reason for your "x" when I specifically told her I have NO problem with "x".... I have a more serious problem and the previous staff had noted it and had been admitted to the hospital after an ER visit but all of that went unheard. She did not care

Review of Dr. Leman

Horrible. Worst physician care. Makes jokes at your expense and his medical assistant who calls herself a nurse laughs along with him. Wants to do high dollar testing when there’s no need. Never ever recommend him to anyone. Or this office. Trying to be a responsible person and pay your copay- gets sighs and eye rolls- despite there being a sign to pay your copay st time of visit.

Review of Dr. Vemulapalli

I saw Dr Ravi for a simple scope procedure following a life threatening experience. Dr Ravi began the scope aware that anesthesia was not taking effect. I was in great pain, crying, and asking him to stop. He acknowledged I was in pain, but did not stop. He left me after the procedure crying in my hospital bed while telling my nurse to get me some pain meds. He was awful, uncaring, and insensitive. The procedure was horrific. I would never recommend Dr Ravi to anyone.
