This has been one of the worst experiences I have had. It clearly states that he practices psychiatry. So I went to visit his office and saw him for him only to tell me that he doesn't do that and he can't help me. Couldn't even refer me to someone either. They also make you pay your co pay before being seen. Had I known that I wouldn't have been helped I would not have even paid that co pay. When I asked for my money back they would not give me my money back. It was his "time" I paid for.
What an absolute quack! Waited nearly an hour to be seen while suffering from a severe migraine, massive nausea and photophobia. Blood pressure was taken inaccurately, and was taken to an office rather than a dark, cool patient room. Dr. Bernard Drexinger never formally examined me. No vitals taken, no pain score questions, and when I informed him that I was on blood thinner treatment and felt somewhat emotionally unstable during my migraine attacks, he prescribed meds w/suicidal side effects.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Puhalovich and his practice.
Dr. Puhalovich is amazing, he took the time to listen to my rambling on and my questions, way passed my allotted time. He first explained why I needed to spend the money to get an MRI and then explained the abnormal MRI and how to prevent any further damage, in addition he treats my life long battle with migraines. Here is an added plus, he responds to his emails. He has seen a dear friend of ours for years and she loves him, now I know why. If you need a neurologist he is your guy.
I have been a patient of Dr.Puhalovich for the past 5 years. I think he is a great doctor with a caring bed side manner. I always go with a family member and they like him too.
Very thorough. Very knowledgeable. Takes time to thoroughly review results and treatments. But as a result, he always runs late.
It was like I was a burden to his schedule. I timed it and from the moment he walked in the room until he left was less than 5 minutes. Offered no insights, no help, and basically just said come back for a check up. Why would I pay another co-pay when for the third time in a row I felt like I could have checked in by e-mail and gotten a better and cheaper experience.
I recommend the Doctor only, not the clinic. If you can see Drexinger, wonderful but the wait times are awful, the staff if poorly organized and non-responsive. My wife waited 3 hours. I waited 2 hours with a phone call response, none came. IF you can bulldoze your way through nonsense, he is worth it.
He is the twelfth neurologist I have seen for this problem over many years. The only one who seemed to listen or care about helping me get better. Thanks to him and his staff, I finally have a life again!
Zero. Doctor and staff is not responsive at all. We are waiting on test results for over 1 MONTH. Have called his office 9 times and got NOWHERE. Doctor got results next day and was supposed to review over the weekend. NOTHING....... Have talked to front office, office manager and his nurse. No response... Worst patient care and follow up.
My wife, and I were referred to Dr. Futrell by our Primary Care Provider, Morrow Family Medicine in Cumming, Ga. We are newcomers to this area and needed a neurological evaluation (age is a factor). Dr. Futrell interviewed us, making comments as we discussed various aspects of our lifestyles. He reviewed his findings with us, and scheduled both of us for follow-up scanning procedures to validate his observations. All that was accomplished with exceptional expedience. We are very pleased.
Dr. Puhalovich and his team are NOT knowledgeable and their customer service skills and bedside manner are lacking to say the least! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have a complicated case but wouldn't even recommend the simplest of cases to this team as they are incompetent and above all else RUDE!!!!
Extremely long wait time for an early morning appointment. He was late arriving and kept me waiting over 3.5 hours. No excuse... I asked and was told there was no medical emergency ahead of me. Staff does not manage him or his daily schedule at all well. Feel sorry for the new office manager but am not at all surprised the old one was replaced. No change in schedule management means this is Dr. Drexinger's fault. Advise? RETIRE!
Dr. Drexinger is OK as a physician, although a bit flippant and I dont believe he is very thorough. He is EXTREMELY disorganized and has no clue how to manage time and has seemingly no respect for his patients schedules. He is ALWAYS 1-3 hours late past his appointment times - there is no point to schedule an appointment or if you do, just show up two hours later and you will still have to wait. His office staff takes no responsibility for the scheduling issues. DO NOT GO HERE!
I usually do not do reviews but this office was horrible. They didn't speak when I checked in, they scheduled me with the wrong doctor, and the office manager is rude as well which is probably why the front staff act the way that they do.
I had a stroke in NY after being treated and having surgery for a chiari malformation which was done by the best. No local neuro would see me after already having surgery for chiari in NY. Dr poholovich not only took me on as a patient but ordered needed tests and noticed some things my expert neuro in NY did not. His bedside manner is great and he is caring and knowledgable. Love him
