Review of Dr. Baker

I can’t imagine where these negative ratings come from. Dr Baker performed a laminectomy on me about five years ago to relieve lower back pain. He was always professional, explained things well, and the operation has relieved most of the pain. Not perfect, but much better. He is direct, but I had no indication of arrogance. I guess some folks expect Marcus Welby.

Review of Dr. Howington

- |

A brain aneurysm was found when an MRI was conducted for an entirely different reason. My primary care physician was able to get me an appointment the following day. Within a week, he tried to block it but couldn't because of its size. Three weeks later, he fixed it in a minimally invasive way that allowed me to return to work the next business day. The procedure was done on a Friday.

Review of Dr. Bishop

Dr. Bishop operated on my dad and he has had back pain for 20 years! After surgery with Dr. Bishop his back and leg pain are gone! I cannot be thankful enough to Dr. Bishop and his wonderful staff. He went above and beyond to follow up with our family in the waiting room afterwards and took so much time with us. I cannot recommend this man enough!!

Review of Dr. Ammar

-reidsville |

We were scheduled to see him in Statesboro, we drive 45 min to get there and the building was empty They scheduled us for a day he was not there. 2 weeks later we go to Savannah to see him. wife has had 3 back surgeries and was in pain. asked if there was anything he could do and he accused us of drug seeking. If he had listened to anything we had said he would have known she is allergic to most narcotics but he would not get off his cellphone long enough.?? turns out lyrica is what she needed

Review of Dr. Howington

- in Statesboro, Georgia |

I met Dr. Howington when I was flown from EGRMC to Memorial Hospital for a ruptured aneurysm. He is a very intelligent and credible neurosurgeon who performed necessary coiling of my Aneurysm to stop the bleeding in my brain therefore lessening the possible severe disabilities or loss of life that usually occurs as an ending result from this illness. He has a great sense of humor and treats you as if you are a friend and not just a patient.

Review of Dr. Ammar

Dr Ammar is an amazing surgeon with the bedside manner to match. I have had 2 surgeries done by him and both times I knew he fixed the problem that I was seeing him for. My recovery was great and I contribute it to his skill and training in his profession.

Review of Dr. Ammar

-Brooklet, GA |

I went to Dr. Ammar because I need back surgery. I had a prior surgery years ago and my spine has shifted since then. I waited for an hour and forty five minutes to see him. He gave me about eight minutes. I asked to go over my MRI's during my follow-up visit. He said the computer timed out & it takes too long to retreive them. He was yawning and leaning across the patient table while I was trying to ask questions. He said he could do surgery and then rushed me out of the office. NO THANKS DOC

Review of Dr. Bishop

My wife was involved in a jet ski accident in1997, I thought our lives would never be the same. Her 11th thoracic vertebrae was broken and she was bleeding internally. She was taken by helicopter to Memorial MC in Savannah. Once the bleeding stopped Dr. Bishop removed T11 and replaced it with a titanium sleeve packed with bone, connected it to T10 and T12 with a strap and screws. 10 days later we were on our way home to Phila. 1 year later she was back to work. Thank you Dr. Bishop. We love you!
