I waited around 2 hours in the waiting room and patient room every single visit.
I tried to get the first appt of the day in hopes to not wait as long & still waited 1.5 hours while Dr. Street sat in the hallway on her computer. She rushed through every appt. Made you feel dumb for asking questions. She said she performs episiotomies on almost every single vaginal delivery. She is not up to date with current procedures at all and I didn't trust her one bit. I changed drs at 34 weeks.
Dr. Pitcher is by far the most caring Dr I have ever had. Her heart is present every time I come in whether it's Ob or gyn. She's consoled me during 3 miscarriages and treated me with such dignity. Her staff showed me empathy in such a sad time. I recommend her for any of her services. She's the best!
I was very happy with Dr. Pitcher and was looking forward to her delivering my baby boy May 2015, i was so sad when i heard she had an accident a week before my baby was born. However, the entire process for all 8 months went well, she has wonderful bedside manners, the staff is nice, she makes it easy to ask questions and voice any concerns.
She is absolutely horrible. Spear yourself and your unborn child.
Dr. Cauthen takes the time to answer all questions in a very down-to-Earth way. She is able to explain things without using a lot of doctor jargon. She always asks what you feel most comfortable doing when it comes to procedures and doesn’t push the “standard” protocol just because insurance companies tell her. She has delivered my 3 boys and taken great care of all of us throughout the process. I couldn’t imagine a more personable, experienced, and knowledgeable person taking care of me.
I do not like writing negative reviews but I need to in hopes that no one else has to go through what I went through with Dr. Pitcher. I was treated poorly while having a early miscarriage. I was also extremely over medicated for hypothyroidism and 3 different doctors including an endocrinologist and cardiologist have confirmed this. When I started questioning why I was put on the dosage I was, all my records were gone from the online portal and I was sent a letter dismissing me from her care.
Best doctor in the world! She takes time with you, she's honest and tells you like it is. She's called me from home late at night after receiving test results from the hospital. She didn't want me to worry over the weekend. She held my hand and cried with me when I miscarried and delivered my first 2 babies. She broke her knee the week before baby #3 was born (my emergency C-Section). She kept in close contact with Dr. Robbins the whole time. She is wonderful! Highly recommend her!!
Dr.Pitcher takes the time to listen and has always put my interest at heart. She is very honest and up front with you on your health. Great advice and referrals.
She is wonderful, caring, & follow through is excellent in every way. Good bedside manner and speaks normal language (not medical jargon) when making explanations or giving instructions. I would not consider using any other OB-GYN....I came to her after a terrible experience with another OB-GYN in the area. Dr Pitcher immediately checked everything out all was fine and I did not have to wait a year to find out as the other Doctor had stated. That was years ago and I am here to stay!
I am very pleased with Dr. Street for taking good care of me. She is so efficient in what she does and very caring person. I just had a tubal ligation last week because of my rare heart condition after I had my baby two years ago. She is awesome doctor as I said she took good care of me and make me feel comfortable during my surgery & before I finally went to sleep from general anesthesia she held my hand and wiped my tears because I was so afraid that my heart will give up on me but I survived.
Dr. Cauthen will not see any self-paying patients, nor will anyone else in her office. The receptionist was not able to refer me to any facility which would do so.
Let's just say that the wait to see the doctor is incredible. This is a poorly run office. Stay away. Your family deserves better. They don't appreciate your time.
I am new to town and was really worried about finding a good doctor because I recently found out I was pregnant and I've had four previous miscarriages.I am soo thankful Dr Pitcher became my doctor. She has done extensive blood work trying to see why I have had all of my miscarriages. She is such a precise and informative doctor and very intelligent. She explains things very thoroughly. She is very compassionate about her work and I look forward to my delivery with her. And the staff is amazing!
Dr. Cauthen provides carefully thought out medical advice. She solved a problem I had suffered with for many years by preforming a test at the most appropriate time. I have felt better ever since. Outstanding care!
She is a wonderful Dr.
LOVE DR. PITCHER! She has the best bed side manner. She is open and honest with you. She loves for you to ask questions.
Spectacular ob/gyn, very personable.
It is difficult to get prescriptions renewed, she mandates that you get a mammogram before she will renew your hormone prescription. Every six months, I feel like I beg to get the prescription renewed for six more months. I faithfully go to my annual appointment and faithfully get an annual mammogram and do not feel that it should be so difficult to get my prescription renewed every six months. Office is very cold feeling, big signs that you can't even bring in a drink. Nothing to read.
Excellent Doctor. You do have to wait a while to see her, (which can be frustrating when you're pregnant or busy) and some of the front office staff can be unprofessional; however, in a medical emergency or if you want a doctor who will take time to talk with you about things, Dr. Robbins is excellent. She remains calm and explains your options without pushing her opinion. She did an excellent job with my emergency c-section and I did not have any issues or complications afterward.
I have used Dr. Robbins for over 19 years. I only have praise for her. She delivered my 2 children, took care of me through ovarian cysts and other issues and last week performed a laparoscopic hysterectomy. She is thorough, caring and listens to her patients. As for the other reviewer complaining about the long wait--often a doctor gets called away to deliver a baby or surgeries run longer which throws off the schedule. If you see a doctor that delivers babies, you are likely to run into this.
I saw Dr. Robbins and the whole appointment took 2 HOURS!!!! It was my first appointment with her and probably my last. 2 hours for an initial appointment is ridiculous. Her nurse was sitting at the desk outside the room on her phone and I had to ask when the doctor was coming. I don't have that kind of time when I have a sitter at home.
